Omg I am instantly subscribing. You have the exact same way of teaching as the only math teacher I have ever had that could teach me anything. I am currently a Sophomore in highschool in Precalculus and I think you just saved my life.
thanks so much :]! my teacher didn't go over exact values at all in class (and this is the first time im taking trig) cause she just assumed everyone already knew about the exact values. you have helped me a lot!
Thanks man. Keep up the good work you are actually teaching it and show how to get the answer rather than just telling us the answer and expecting someone to know all the other steps.
This video really opened my mind. I figure anytime now that I need to find the exact value, I just convert it to degrees (180/pi). All I have to remember now is the dominators from the first quadrant (3,4,6) and their respective x and y. With that it's easy cause it'll always be the same values except for positive and negatives in each quadrant. quad 1 (+,+), quad 2 (negative,+), quad 3 (neg.,neg.), quad 4 (+,neg.). Thank you!
I noticed a ton of people were saying that their teacher sucks and you are much better... I'm here to say this is true haha. My teacher is going WAY too fast and you explained it so well!!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!
Yes. I have no clue how to do this. My teacher posts videos of him doing notes but doesn’t explain anything. He taught me so little that I don’t even know where to start with tan(4pi/3)
@@crb8619 I started to feel very grateful for the math teachers I've had over the last few months because I now know what a bad teacher is like. Chemistry sucked in the last 3 months because of a difficult teacher.
he wanted to isolate 24pi/6 because that is the same as 4pi. (One revolution around the circle is 2pi, so 2pi * 2 is 4pi, or 2 revolutions around the circle). You are now left with 5pi/6, so you go that much further on the circle.
If your teacher doesn't let you use a copy of the unit circle on your exam, you will probably need to work on memorizing it. It might take less work than you think.
mikeswhite2, the distance all the way around the circle is equal to 2pi. If I go around the circle once, ending where I started, I have traveled 2pi. If I go around the circle twice, I have traveled a distance of 4pi. So if I go around the circle 15 times, I have traveled a distance of 30pi. Does that help?
The only thing i'm not really understanding is at the end where you got the -sqrt3/2 and then when you had to put it in 1/cos form you made it -2/sqrt3. why? Shouldn't it just be 1/-sqrt3/2
for sec(29π/6) why did you chose 24 instead of 28? So it wouldve been only π/6? Not really familiar with that since my prof didn't teach us this. I assume that you get multiples of 4, no?
Challenge: How would you calculate exact radical form expression for sin or cos (pi * 0x44556679 / 0xFFffFFff) ? Hint: The answer is simple but quite long !! Any tool (including web search) is allowed to answer this challenge :-)
by the fucking gods of Olympus i just learn how to solve this shit, fucking hell i hate college my teacher assumed everybody learned this chart and never shows the work, after trying to get em to teach me i still didnt get it, but this video turned to God to me right now. im so saving this for later!
Hi Are you satisfy why unit circle don't have unit area but still it satisfy all the conditions of math and physics and so on ,but if we take 1/√π. as radius of circle and it's still satisfied all the trigonometry conditions ????
Thanks! My teacher doesn't know how to teach, so TH-cam is my new teacher!

This five minute video helped me more than an hour long lecture with m teacher. Thank You!!!!
🙆♂️hahaha same

Bless your soul bruh I was stuck on a problem for half an hour and now I completed this worksheet in 10 minutes
this teacher made it easier than what my math teacher did last year smh

I was watching TH-cam, procrastinating and not studying, but I came across this, and now I feel prepared for the math test I have today.
I have a quick question, Im terrible at math so my question may come off as dumb, but how did he go from -121pi/4 to -120pi/4 - pi/4?
Angel M I think he made a mistake

WHY IS MY MATH TEACHER NOT TEACHING US THE UNIT CIRCLE
idek u how would i know
This is better than an entire unit with my teacher
I noticed a ton of people were saying that their teacher sucks and you are much better... I'm here to say this is true haha. My teacher is going WAY too fast and you explained it so well!!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!
Does everyone's teacher really suck that much? I just came to study a bit extra, not because my teacher sucks or anything.

i know this is a super late comment, but you are a LIFE SAVER!
In 5min he explained what my teacher could not explain in 3 hours.
I've been struggling with this so much is precal. Thank you!!! I finally get it!!!!!!!
i have a test tomorrow and we cant even use a unit circle we have to memorize lol

perfect, very helpful in clear. I couldn't follow this whole chapter in a 90min lecture, and you cleared it all up in 5 mins
I was searching whole day for this basic video of exact values. Thank you
Omg this was so helpful. Ive been doing trig and not understanding the text book at all. But this actually males sence
This is a perfect video since the teacher showed and explained how to solve the problems.
omg thank you so much you just saved me for my test tomorrow

Here in 2024 bro this video just saved my life 😂
Wow! Hours of lecture didn't explain this amazing hack
You just saved my life and math grade. Thank you.
I don't care what datnotoriousmadman says, I say thanks for the video. It helped me a lot.
give this man a medal
I got more out of this than an hour of studying. Thank u so much
I love you man short and clear
Thank you so much, was trying to figure it out for past week or so, you explained it in one simple video
for the last problem you did, why did you select 5pi/6 instead of pi/6?
Did you ever get your question answered? I still don't get it...
jimmydude1123 it’s because he took out 5 from the original number

thank you so much! saving me with reviewing on my trig midterm
THANK JESUS, CRYING BECAUSE I LEGIT MELT DOWN OVER ME NOT GETTING THIS.
1,000 like! Great video, helped me a lot.
Great Video, My teacher is terrible at explaining this exact problem for some reason. You laid it out in a very simple manner!
Thanks! Explained in simple and concise terms!

thanks for the lecture it did help me recall the methods

For cos(3pi/4) I'd love to know how you got -sqrt(2)/2, that's what I'm trying to find out but can't find any answers on
for example 3 you said "i go around 14 more times and now I am at 30pi" what does all this mean??? im confused about the -120pi/4 part please help!
That was a huuuuuuge help! Thanks so very much
Missed class cause i was sick and now have a mid term... Thank for the clear explanation!
can you please make a play list for your math videos?

how are you taking pies out of the numerators? please explain that a little more.
by this explnation i literally found another way and its only 1 step i convert it to radian to degree which i find way more much easier :D
well explained
turned something i thought was complicated and made it easy
your an awesome teacher, that made me understand it all thanks:)
what do you do If you only have the first quadrant of the unit circle?
Excelent! Can you add more examples of this???
I was stuck on Unit Circle for 5 days, confused, until this video, thank you sooo much

I have a question, in my book it says sin of theta is x/r. Why aren't you dividing by r?
a little confused
where did that (pi/4) come from if -120/4 = -30pi
oooooo nvm lol

What can you do if the denominator is from a multiple of a known radian
you go around 15 more times* for 30pi to your left
+Mitch Amp Is there a better way to "go around 15 more times..." ??
All these people trying to memorize the unit circle when you can calculate any value using the special triangles...
its confusing though....
what if the angle is 40 degrees?
I think this is somewhat complicated. You can always just multiply by (180/π) to go from radians to degrees, and then solve.
In that problem does the cot of something = 1/3, or are you trying to find the cot of 1/3?
How did you get the tan? I didn't get it
can you do this one again but in degrees
why minus pi/4 in the min 2:40?
Omg thank you so much you made it so easy
