Is it possible to make a script that detects possible misalignment or incoherence in the dataset instead of looking at the dataset line by line ?
If possible, it could save time, except if the time making the script is superior to the time normalizing the data

Great point. Yea, there are several alignment tools/packages available. The alignment work is done now, though. But good lesson learned.
