- Space is a mind-bogglingly dangerous place, and one of the biggest challenges is the lack of water. So that's why Andreas Mogensen is going test a Danish water purification technology on his next trip to space. Every little water molecule counts in the room, so when the morning coffee comes out as urine, it is run through water filters, cleaned and turned into clean drinking water again. Something that we need to get much better at if we are to explore further in university.
