Thank you for this wonderful video and for sharing your experience with the rest of the world! We are always happy when we can spread the word about the beautiful Melnik region and its unique local grapes, which we take care of with great love! We look forward to having you again in the spring and summer when the vineyards are lush green, or why not in the autumn, when you can help us harvest the grapes! Cheers!

We're so glad you liked the video! We had such a wonderful experience at Villa Melnik Winery. Helping harvest the grapes sounds like a really cool experience.

    What is your favorite wine?

Any wine from Melnik, I believe would be superb. There are certain grapes in Bulgaria that only grow there, which also makes the wine unique.
I cannot truly answer your question, even though I have had plenty of different wine from across the world.
But in Bulgaria the tradition of wine making is so ancient, that we even sing about the wine in our folklore:
"Nai hubavoto vino" - Nikolai Slaveev ("The Best Wine of All" - Nikolai Slaveev)
In the traditional song, the singer claims that the best wine of all is called "Mavrud". A wine only found in Bulgaria.
      Enjoy
