- In this video we'll be looking how to maximise DPS on Freyna, taking her poison ultimate skill and turning it into a boss killer worthy of her queen status! You'll struggle to find another build with more damage per shot, but as always, if you have feedback for how to improve it, leave it in the comments section below

Swap nimble fingers mod for time distribution. Instead of 25%CD u get 14.5% but +55% HP. Only made about a second difference to my cooldowns and an extra +55% HP is invaluable on hard bosses/missions. Also skill critical rate is based off your base crit rate so it's 27.7% of the base 5% added. Not really worth but the +skill damage% definitely is worth.
Edit to add. U also want Tech Specialist for +Tech skill power% and put Venom Injector on your weapon, preferably ranked up for +% firearm ATK on poisoned enemies.

I won't lie, the tech specialist has gone on my build since the video, I feel like I tried adding it one time and it refused to go in the slots due to a similar mod being in there but it's definitely in place now (no idea what that was about 🤣)
But yes, highly recommend tech and toxic specialist being in the build. It's a great call!
@SongOfRazeYT u can only have one mod that has the same parameters. Like battle can't be put on if there's a other battle

With Freyna I’m gonna go more into skill based build with dps. I need that legendary weapon still of course and now I know where to farm for the 4 piece set. 😊

for all people wanting a good reactor you can farm for it on hard mode in the ruins area. this will last 6-8 days after this was posted
Which mission? There is two with the toxic

@@angelduron65 its the area drop so any mob can drop the reactor. spent 4 hours farming my god roll toxic tech one the other night
also take note the reactors change on a weekly basis so you have until monday to farm it

I just discovered that venom baptism will stat stick whatever gun you were holding when you pull it out. So buildng raw damage and mag capacity on a secondary then swapping before activating your 4 will boost ot a lot. Also firing fiesta works on venom baptism
damage doesn’t effect the stat stick. magazine size, fire rate, and most(not all) gold weapon mod applies, for example firing fiesta works, because it has to do with magazine, but anything that boost firearms attack doesn’t apply, along with crit and weak point damage, as the damage doesnt count as any of those

Great video. Staying free to play for now not sure if I'm up for how grindy this game is
very grindy because the cap for not using any perma enhancement crystals on characters and weapons is low and youll start to struggle in 3rd hard mode boss , except for gley (and maybe enzo if you can dodge well). I barely beat Obstructor with my f2p Ajax and the Tamer lmg build only used enhancement on ajax cuz I was struggling keeping him alive in hard solo. All of this was to farm a free enzo so I can open vaults easier because failing means losing out 70k kuiper and materials only gotten from there that drop like 4 each for the lvl3 ones that need keys that drop randomly from all missions.
ulti viessa, lepic and ajax are easiest i think and ultimate bunny needs about 84 of 1 kind of materials found in vaults. I think ultimate gley is the hardest with 2 of those kinds of materials. And then the real farm for upgrading weapons and descendant enhancement begins for each module slot and ultimate weapon ability increase you need to farm that weapon 5 times to refine 5.
Games grindy: Its a looter shooter. Someone on day 1 launch within a week managed to get an ult viessa as a f2p in a week (shes locked behind hard mode which means you need to beat all bosses and entire story before you can grind her)
It's filling my borderlands itch for farming for now! But yeah, it's a lot of grinding if you're looking to stay f2p. The fact it can be done is good in my opinion, even if drop rates are low for the ultimates
I started with Bunny but she is so weak against colosuses so i changed to Freyna and now shes my new main
9:37 Poison Priority does NOT add Toxic element to the gun. To add an element you need a mod that says "Add toxic ATK" not "Toxic ATK + %". I believe TOXIC ENHANCEMENT is the only mod that adds toxic damages to a weapon.
Is contagion module on obtainable in hard mode for freyna?
Yes
Yes it drops from hard mode dead bride. It has a low drop chance though. Took me many tries to get it to drop.

I got a fallen hope toxic reactor with 0.079x toxic skill boost and 31.3% skill crit rate, my 4 crit remarkably often and I don't have front lines yet
Can i get this reactor in low lv ? or need be in Hard mode ?
Yes it's random In normal mode. at end game hard mode you can target specific equipment depending on the week

I'm currently levelling him up to mess about with module combos, but did find a great setup for now that kinda makes his ultimate a "mini-nuke"

The toxic reactor was that a normal difficulty drop or on hard mode
Purples you can get from normal, hard mostly drops yellow ones but you'll want to target farm for that when the rotation changes
Level 100 only drops in hard mode. And they drop everywhere. Ultimate versions drop far more often than anything else.
Bro has a near perfect reactor for mobbing and is just sleeping on it 😭😭

Got my eyes on sorting a Valby build soon, as from past betas she played as a more supportive/DOT focussed Bunny for add clear. Will 100% bring one to the channel, but I do have a couple descendants lined up first 😅 sorry!

Yooo how do you have 80 capacity ? i only have 75 with an activator , and if i rank up my mastery to 14 i still only get 77 , on 20 i get 80
Try to get mastery up, and get to level 40.
Python isn’t that great you have to constantly shoot to keep prey active it’s only good if you co op with a friend and they run it for you
her base crit chance for her abilities is 5%. even at 100% crit chance increase would only boost it to 10%. it would be more effective to just focus on damage and cdr to allow you to use her ult every 28-35 seconds.
Maybe a silly question. Where can i get the Information how much base crit a descendent has or the skills itself ?

@@stefanboehle9682open their stats screen by hovering over the health and shields etc in the inventory menu then pressing whatever is says (for me it’s X on Xbox)
@@stefanboehle9682 In the inventory screen look at the bottom. It should say "Go to Info." I believe crit chance and dmg is in the middle of the screen
That math ain't right. I have less than 100% on my mods and I'm already at 15% if you max out insight and Frontline you get almost 20% crit per shot
Btw if you just throw on a random pistol and add magazine capacity mods and fire rate mods to it they will effect the 4 ability for more ammo and fire rate while using it. You need to have the pistol with the mods equipped on it in your hand when you use the ultimate tho. Didnt notice you mentioning it in the video, you can get to around 75 bullets in the ultimate maybe more.
I tried the skill with a scout rifle and then with the tamer, didnt saw any diff in fire rate or bullet
@@SioRay do what i said equip a pistol then equip magazine size mods and fire rate mods to that pistol. Then use the ult with the pistol in your hands. I didnt say a scout rifle or the tamer xd obviously you need to level up the mods too not just level 1 mods

Poison does not apply unless the gun is running toxic enchantments or has toxic as a roll

Great shout, I do have a mod on for toxic damage to feed itself, which is probably the ideal way to run it for now
It seems that if the gun has two elements (one from a roll and one from a module) the gun will only inflict the status effect of the more damaging element (I tried putting Ice on a weapon that had electric but the ice wouldn't proc)
is this build F2P friendly??
It does have an Activator on for the 20 power boost but with enough catalyst farming you can still get the mods in. I would recommend checking out the video I did after this for updated builds, as I did squeeze out some more DPS and talked transcendence mods 🙂

I see everyboy not upgrading their Sub attack slot.. It gives you 85 max capacity if you do.
Gley, $70 so I can buy Battle passes going forward
Gley is 100% on my radar for DPS next. She won't reach beta levels of damage after they nerfed her, but I'm still looking forward to messing about with her kit. I've seen some unlimited launcher ones already that look great!

If they made defense mechanism with shield instead of defense it wouldn’t be such a “meh” skill.
Gley is actually still the best in terms of dps, but freyna is a close second
The python is trash. The debuff only lasts for 1 sec, so the stacks fall off immediately after you stop shooting. Spent a day grinding for it just to get it and was massively disappointed
If you max the ability on it, it goes higher than 1 second. Need to farm 4 more copies lol
@rhyseytle9854 that's dumb lol. It took so long just to farm it. Also it looks like they changed it from the beta. Cause it used to also decrease def but now it does non-attribute. So it's just a weird gun that decreases non-attribute and toxic.
Its still onenof the highest dps guns for bosses, esüecially for general ammo after tamer nerfs
Been hearing mixed views on the python. Some saying it's one of the best boss dps weapons in the game once maxed out and others saying it's trash..
Counting ultimates to make it 19 characters? That’s just silly
I was shocked at the fact that any improvement on regular descendants dont carry over to ultimates.
I mean ultimates have different stats and exclusive mods to them. Theyre basically .5 of a character becasue of that
It is a little, but they do have their own dedicated red mods drops which the base versions can't use and will transform their builds.
On the other hand I know if I said less, people would comment saying "there's 19 faces!" 🤣
What do the enemies with the color line that sticks you do? This game is annoying in that there is no explanation for anything. I got enemies with blue or green or whatever color and i can't shake the line .. what is it doing? Tired of having to TH-cam every thing about this game. Literally gives zero explanation about half the game mechanics
@@joshuwadevonshire673 blue steals your mp, purple makes you unable to cast skills. Green did something with hp, but I can’t recall. The enemies have labels on them to say what they’ll do, but it is harder to do while actively in combat, so take a vid or screenshot to check it later
I love how you talk about a bunch of babble at the beginning that no one or at least I can't keep up with and the fact that you don't tell us where we can get any of The Mods man that's real good
There is literally an in game tool that tells you where things drop. Don't be lazy.

Sorry but Moxey's build was better and does more DPS and he explains the mechanics better.. being that with Freyna if you shoot the target directly with the poison you do less damage than if you shoot at a mob next to it and let it spread.. the ticks are literally off the chart, and without Contagion the build is semi nerfed as well.
I'm happy to concede Moxsy did a great build, and he did pick up on some great points. The magazine increase trick (as weird as it works that way) is a great one, and something I've tried to put into mine as well. That said, without investment into expanding the module capacity, you'll be sacrificing damage or survival for skill duration to squeeze those shots out, and I don't personally recommend that.
I'll be looking at further changes once I've farmed the perfect reactor, had some great feedback thrown my way. Appreciate the comment

Admittedly I have played most of the game with my headset off 😅 so apologies if how I pronounced the name was wrong, I had purely gone off how it looks
this game is on some fronts pretty stupid and unlogical i have arrived at dead bride wich is weak against fire but all the fire descendants are only obtainable at agna desert/white night gulch/hagios regions those are the late game regions wich is pretty ridiculous since they put a weaknes on every boss but the only fire dmg you can deal at that time is through weapons with a mod and thats just insane so the only way to do these bosses is through getting someone who is OP and let him/her kill it for you wich is boring AF
Lepic is fire and melts bosses weak to fire and pretty much everything else. And like you said you can always put fire on any weapon type and deal with her. The game gives you everything you need and definitely makes you learn mechanics for each fight. Do the fights solo for an easier boss if you can’t get a team to act right.
