Escaping Away in Margaritaville - Lake Conroe

Recently, we escaped to Margaritaville Lake Conroe and rediscovered a paradise for both the palate and the soul. The scene you are about to witness all happened at the Landshark Bar & Grill!
There were two parts to our culinary adventure - the mocktails and the entrees plus a dessert.
We started with the Crispy Coconut Shrimp - every bite was a crispy, golden delight. There was also the crab cakes which were perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor. The Shrimp Scampi was a symphony of tastes, with al dente pasta and succulent shrimp bathed in a rich, garlic-infused sauce. Even the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich delivered a satisfying kick.
We indulged in a selection of creative mocktail concoctions, each a tantalizing blend of flavors. The Pineapple Cooler was a personal favorite - creamy and refreshing, like a tropical vacation in a glass. The Cranberry Paradise offered a vibrant twist, while the Tropical Breeze was a burst of sunshine in a glass. And while I wasn't as in love with the No-Rita, the rest of the table loved its citrusy zing.
The chocolate lava cake was pure indulgence. Every bite was worth the calories. The warm, gooey center oozed with rich, melted chocolate, creating a truly decadent experience. It was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal.
Later that evening we had a great time goofing off and found plenty of opportunities to take selfies along the way. We found a great spot to enjoy a warm fire and pass the time away. We made new friends and soaked in the laid back vibes. And of course, the evening wouldn't have been complete without the great music playing throughout the property adding to the relaxed and carefree Margaritaville vibe.
And let's not forget the accommodations! Our suite offered breathtaking lake views and a luxurious interior with a separate bedroom and living room. It was the perfect retreat for relaxation.
