I've just read 2 books of him. I like how he portrays everything. But I don't really find the storyline interesting. (Norwegian wood and Kafka on the shore )
@@diveintothebeyond8426 I love Murakami's writing and I very much enjoy most of his works, but that doesn't mean I also can't criticize him for his characterisation of women. He can't write them well. It's just a fact. Also I never hated on anyone for enjoying his works.

I wish I could live in a book of murakami. I don't have to the main character , not even the second lead. I just want to go there.

My favorite author
Murakami's books are like watching a Wong Kar Wai film??? His books remind me of like anime films too
As I read Norwegian Wood, images suddenly I saw
I was waiting for cat 😔
Also feels like a wong kar wai movie.
yeah, except murakami's weird sex scenes.
I'd trade my life to be in his world
Who else just finished norwegian wood (and is shocked abt what Toru and Reiko did Lmfao)
When I read the ending of this for the first time, id thought to myself:" Why did he write that, that wasnt necessary"
I just finished reading it today. And last 10 pages feel really wierd 😅 like never expected it from Reiko (but we'll she used to tease him a lot)
Missing the spaghetti and jazz/classical music
I’m about to complete Norwegian wood and tomorrow I’m going to read Sputnik sweetheart:)
за это я и люблю мураками
Don’t forget ab the exploited women

Have you read the wind up bird chronicles by now?
No I haven't yet . Do you recommend it? I'd love to give that one a try if the storyline is not as weird as Kafka on the shore.
I just finished Norwegian Woods and it's not helping mentally. I need someone to talk to who already read the novel. Please comment if you are free.
