    I lived in Germany for over 10 years and I watched a lot of TV. I never saw for once German TVs show any pictures about black Africa that was not about poverty. The Nigerian capital is probably more beautiful than the most beautiful city in Germany. But I never saw footages of the Nigerian capital for once on German TV. But there are many German companies making billions from the same Nigeria and they have been there before Nigerian independence. Talk about racism.

      Make Films youtube channels, documentaries, music videos EVERYTHING showing African cities, african modern lifestyle, and complex African ancient civilizations, not just mali and songhai, but Bamileke, Asante, Zimbabwe, Nubia, Aksum, Gondar, and many more.

    Wode maya. You are a great African ambassador to china( and the rest of the world, through TH-cam). Most people outside of Africa only know Africa from portrayals from Hollywood or documentaries about certain scenic wildlife reserves of Africa. You are showing them the cities, which don't ever get shown.
    Of course, the awesome wildlife reserves of Africa should be known, as they are some of the greatest treasures on earth, but it seems that these areas are all that's ever shown, thus creating an unbalanced and unrealistic primitive impression of Africa, as if the Serengeti is all Africa has and the great hunting Maasai tribe represents all Africans. It's about time more of the urban side of Africa is shown!
    Great vid, educational and long overdue.

      There are nice things to discover about those 2 countries!
      What is ur take bro?
      And about DRC, despite the war going in the eastern part of the country for so long now, there are still many many many wonrdrous things to discover in the rest of the Country.
      Recently on internet a white lady after a visit there, was talking of the beauties of sceneries in Kivu land in DRC, a "Divine place" to quote her.
      And to go back to my country Ivory Coast, it is the most developped in the sub-region. Surely u already knew about Wode Maya !

    Let's see 🤔 they have been talking about how Africa isn't how they think it is for about an hour & I'm pretty sure they still believe it to be exactly as they imagined in the first place sad how closed minded people can be

    • @fvbfhh2989
      @fvbfhh2989 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      You're wrong, maybe because you're used to being negative, the world is changing, people from different places will gradually change their minds by communicating, understanding each other, and we're not so closed in China, otherwise how could you get a message from a Chinese in TH-cam? Believe that the world will be a better place, and then contribute your strength to it. Don't spread negative thoughts, which will only make bad people happy.
      你错了,这也许因为你习惯消极,这世界正在改变,不同地方的人通过沟通,互相理解,观念会慢慢改变,我们中国也没有那么封闭,否则你怎么会收到一个中国人在youtube的留言。请你相信这世界会变得更好,然后为此贡献你自己的力量,不要传播消极的想法,那只会让坏人开心

    I'm so glad that you're educating them. I'm a part of the African Diaspora. I'm American by many centuries, and sadly, many of my people think of Africa like this. People need to wake up. We can't be so stupid to think of stuff like Africa is nothing but desert. It's a continent surrounded by sea like all the others. When we think were better than another group of people based on the generalizations we follow, we actually show ourselves to be stupid, in lack of logic and our own individual common sense. Stop following the media dictation.

      I would like u in here on youtube to type in the search engine "Skid Row-Los Angeles". And u will see disheartening, disturbing, shocking videos, about that very USA side, medias don't talk too much about. most africans in their mentality think that USA is heaven on earth. U could go further and type too "Skid-Row during covid-19"
      And then later too "america hoods and the violence"; " ghettos in USA"

    Yes , most of the pictures what you've shown are undoubtedly from Africa but the fact is still Africa is counted as the poorest continent in the world (economically , financially ) en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poverty_in_Africa but are all African countries and people are poor ? No ! There are many countries in Africa with high GDP and PPP compare to many countries in world , now having said that -Is China rich ? No ! Still China has a lot of issues and it has a long way to go as the human development index (HDI) of China is still low . Most of the people here in China know much about the rich countries (economically ) in the west but they don't know even in the west they've got poor people , homeless people . In NYC for instance there are more than 50000 homeless people www.coalitionforthehomeless.org/basic-facts-about-homelessness-new-york-city/ . When you say this to Chinese people they ain't believe it cause when they see Hollywood /European movies , all they see is skyscrapers, richass lifestyle and how economically prosperous and modern people in the west are which is not 100% true . It's hard to get a job in the west that's why people from the west are running to east ( from western countries to the eastern countries) but this is somehow isn't well understood by most of the Chinese people cause they're unaware from the rest of the world ( mostly ) .

      @makehumanitygreatagain8128 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Africa is the richest and most socially free continent. It just isn't the most modern in many instances. In Africa you have the most economically democratic place in the world. Westerners like to fool the world by using words like income to define wealth.
      First of all, many African nations' currencies are derivations of western currencies that exist at a fixed rate in relation to the western currency they are a derivative of. Therefore, what a European means is your average African has less purchasing power than your average westerner.
      However, your average African also has more assets than your average westerner. Land ownership is far more democratized in Africa. So, even if an African person's labor and product is valued less on the international market, your average African has more purchasing power within their own society.
      A great majority of Africans own the homes (outright) and land within which they live. A landlord cannot come one day and kick them out of their homes. Westerners exist in an alternative reality that is largely media, marketing and consumption driven.
      Your average westerner has been misled to believe that the only way to judge the value of something is via its aesthetics. As a result, westerners think because their homes may look more polished or their cars look newer, or their clothes look newer that they actually lead higher quality lives than the average African. This couldnl't be further from the truth.
      Unfortunately, Africans like the Chinese and the westerner are falling for the same media brainwashing the west consistently puts out via Hollywood. Africans real problem is systemic and it is systemic because there is a western cancer holding Africa hostage via military imperialism and threats of violence.
      France is one such example of a country that strong arms African nations and bombs, invades and stages civil unrest in order to bring independent minded African leaders under their control.
      Some of you blinded by your ignorance and brainwashing will instinctively reject all of what I've said. However, it won't change the truth, nor do I care actually.

      francois williams Well , you can't say that . Some Chinese are ignorant for the fact that they don't know much about the world but calling them fools is pretty farcical , China is the second largest economy in the word en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(nominal) and developing extremely fast . The lifestyle of people here in China is changing rapidly as the average household income is almost 10000-20000 USD a year which is far ahead than most of the countries . A country can't develop in this pace with fools and (no offense ) but I totally disagree with you calling Chinese fools .
