I wanted to ask is the International Legion going to be long term? I have to finish one more year of high school and would rather be coming in beforehand maybe with prior military experience as a U.S. soldier before going into a hostile environment. Would the training be sufficient enough if I were to go in right after graduation? I would want to have sufficient enough skills for such.
Join the United States Army first. War is not fun, you have a very, very high chance of coming home with one less limb, or not coming home at all. At least get good training from the US and experience as an Infantryman first.
@@eazyphantom I'm gonna let you in on something man: You're not going to be an MP in Ukraine as a foreigner. You're going to be a regular rifleman. If your plan is to be an MP in the United States and then come to Ukraine in a few years and end up a rifleman anyway, you should probably reconsider the MP thing. I was a career Infantryman, and MPs simply don't do the same or similar job.
@@professionalschizo well I am in a long term relationship and I do not want her to worry that I will not be coming home because the chance would be very likely and they arm foreigners only with leftovers compared to their own if the relationship does not work out I still wanted my civilian job to be an officer but I may consider afterwards and have them train me their way and join the legion if the will is strong enough for me

IMAS drills for breaching, booby trap, and cied instruction from someone with zero real-world experience. This instilled false confidence will get someone killed, and it needs to be said before it happens.

He seems a nice enough guy, but he should not be teaching EOD or Sappers if he has never been one. Certainly he has no experience in Ukraine other than handing out detectors. This war will last for a few more years but idk about 5 more years - even then you can also go to the French foreign legion
