Great review on what appears to be a nice little soldering station. Thanks Paul!

I like how the helping hands are weighted down by the control box.

According to the pictures on the advertisements you are supposed to remove the power unit from the base before you use the helping hands. The slots are for storage of the unit and hands together so they dont slide off a shelf or become hard to lift by sliding around.

One very nice thing is the lack of switch mode. Anything that can reduce the terrible noise the SM power supplies pump out the better. If I need a replacement I would seriously consider it.

Same soldering iron I use, not the same station though. I don't care for the tip always resting in the copper pad. Looks good, should provide many hours of soldering joy. ☮️ brother.

In the words of RonSil paint "it does what it says on the tin!"

is the zeny soldering station you did a video on 4 years ago still working ?

Little bit on the expensive side IMHO - particularly for an amateurish, part time soldering novice like me .
Looking forward to a longer term usage report ...

Get them to send you one with a hot air station. I am looking for a dual hot air / soldering station to replace my Weller WLC100 station that does not have automatic temp control.

It looks like a nice product.

Curious on what your experience has been with the soldering station since this video? I checked your vids and couldn't find an update so I'm asking here

It's fine. I use it daily . I have not had anything to complain about, but nothing to mention either. It just sits on the corner of my desk and works when I need it to.

Can you give the name and model number for the meter you plug the station into then into the power stripe.

For the money I think the KSGER units are superior. A lot more complicated though.

Reading the other comments I think I’m going to be in a very small minority. I don’t like the idea of the helping hands and magnifier being on the station. I like my station at the back of my table working over my mat, be that using my board clamp or microscope.

Ahhh, another clone of the famed Hakko 936 (which I still own and use from time to time).

It is too pricey for what it is. No display, no digital controller...
