Thank you TLLHS for this amazing old time gem you're sharing with us and we really appreciate all the hard work and effort you put in this late night streams, you're a very special God bless you always...!!!
just listening now. im assuming A Pail of Air is on here somewhere? 🙂 It is my single favorite episode from all of old time radio. ps...love the starry background
Why was that rising whine used in the intro and outro? It may just be a quirk of my Bluetooth speaker but that sound is so shrill that my cats start freaking out and I have to practically mute the volume to stand it. This has nothing to do with the channel but rather the original production team. I like the show and I would love to listen when I go to sleep but it is impossible. Does anyone else experience this? I haven't timed it but it goes on for about 10 or 15 seconds. The worst part is that after each story, 2 bouts of that sounds play back to back. It's the duration and pitch. If they started lower and didn't rise so high or if they shortened it, I don't think it would cause such a ruckus around my house. 30 seconds of cats frantically running around every 11 or 15 minutes is a lot to take. I can't imagine what they were thinking. Again, is it just me?
It's either Lawrence Kerr or David Pfeffer. Lawrence Kerr was also in "And the Moon Be Still as Bright." He also has a credit from four years earlier, which would make him pretty young at that point. David Pfeffer was in "The Veldt" and "Requiem." The was a young boy in The Veldt, but I don't remember one in Requiem. He also has a credit from three years earlier. Better bet is David Pfeffer.
Love love love using these as my bedtime stories, I’m 66. Thank you to the team. They’re great.

I love the second show because it just how gullible people are today
Does anyone know who the child voice actor is in The Martian Death March?
