I use my fingers while blow drying my hair.... NEVER a brush when my hair is half dry/ wet and it works so well!!! I've noticed less breakage and shedding. I also allow my hair dry at least 85% before blow drying my hair. I also don't brush my hair after more than once after putting my leave in conditioner and oil in. But these are great tips and your hair looks amazing!! ❤❤
Hi, I’m a 65 year old woman with very fine hair that is also thinning dramatically. Any advice would be so much appreciated. I know that a lot of us senior ladies deal with thinning hair.
First, make sure you’re not losing hair due to a medical reason. Then ask your doctor about low-dose oral minoxidil and/or spironolactone for hair loss. A dermatologist may prescribe it. My mother’s doctor changed one of her blood pressure medicines to minoxidil to help with her hair.
Have you ever had your B12 checked and vitamin D? My levels were drastically low, caused hair loss and breakage. It's worth mentioning to your Dr especially if you are very tired. I'm now told to take vitamins after 6 injections of B12 to bring levels up. ❤
Im 62 and my hair was Fallingbostel out due to Stress, accidently i tried Collagen, for the skin, it did not help my skin but i was wondering about my hair, it was growing back like in my 40s, i use at the Moment hairsoap and a vinegar, water rinse, still wet i User arganoil, and im ising the oil almost every Day because my hair is very dry from coloring, the oil and the collagen are amazing with my hair i wished i would have find out earlier, bought already a wig, the collagen must be taken for at least 3 months befreundet you see results, better 6, a friend of mine just startet one months ago, so far i cant see nothing, a neighbor but in the 40s has made the same experience like me, good luck!!! And yes try the vitamins too and omega3,
I was raised by a mom who insisted on us cleaning our combs and brushes once a month, including soaking them in rubbing alcohol to sanitize. A habit I continued in my adulthood. Thanks Mom!
Yes! - Same here. I’m in my upper 50s and I remember watching my Mom clean her brushes and combs often.. like you said, at least once a month. First, she’d “clean out” her hairbrushes by using her hair comb to pull out all the excess hair from the brush. Then, she’d soak her brush in the sink with water & vinegar.. or bleach. Whatever works. And it worked. Her brushes& combs always looked brand new ✨🤍
I have tried soooooo many hair dryers trying to find the best for my hair. I gave away 4 that didn’t work for me in a two year period. I finally broke down and bought the Dyson, game changer. I travel a lot and must always make room in my bag for my Dyson. Amazing hair dryer. The smoother is my favorite attachment for my frizzy hair. My friend borrowed my Dyson while on our last girl’s trip, she feel in love and bought one as soon as we got home. FYI, Dyson dryers cannot be used with adaptors or converters if traveling in other countries where those are needed. Thanks for your informative videos!
Yes yes yes! I’m 64 and had pin straight hair until I let it go grey. Now I’m a curly frizzy mess. It totally changes the game and I’m an old dog. Loving however one of things I always dreamed of and spent too much $$$ in perms in my 20’s through my 40’s.
Loved this video. I have fine wavy hair that I dry straight w/ a blowout brush... BUT what about touching it up the next morning? I'd love a video on what tools to use so I don't have to wet my hair again and maybe have to add more product.
Hi I have honestly learned so much from your videos , that none of my hairdressers ever taught me, probably because they don’t want to loose business or a client, which I think is sad
Summer I LOVE your channel! I’ve been growing my hair long again and I purchased the T3 Duo on your recommendations a couple weeks ago. I absolutely LOVE it . I have a Dyson Airwrap, and this blows it away in my opinion. I absolutely love the Volume I get from the round T3 and also have taken your products reccs. My hair is fine, but I have a lot of it ….that Paul Mitchell Volume mouse is incredible !! Thank you for your content keep it up!!❤
Makes complete sense I have so much breakage and now I figured out why. I even have the wet brush in my drawer. Duh. New subscriber looking forward to learning so much more! Thank you❤
I just found this channel, and am pleased with what I've seen so far. This video was very informative, and confirmed, for me, that I am using the correct brush for my long hair. I have subscribed to this channel, and am looking forward to watching many more videos.
Please provide tips for someone with fine wavy thinning hair. I use hairdryer very seldom and mostly after applying leave in conditioner I let it air dry. I would like them to be less frizzy. Thank you
I color my roots every five weeks to cover the gray. I usually add some highlights as well to add some dimension. Would love some tips on how to keep your hair healthy and still color (roots only) on a regular basis.
I have used root cover to extend my color to six weeks, and my hair is much healthier. I have used many brands at this point, but the one I like right now is Clairol in the small can. I spray it on an applicator brush and apply wherever it's needed, in visible areas because the spray is just too messy! Good luck!
I love your videos! They are fun to watch and I learn so much. The way you explain and the visuals are easy to understand. Could you do a video on how to care and best products for gray hair 😊
Thanks for the video! I'm not gonna lie, I always get confused and overwhelmed by the amount of different types of hairbrushes available these days but after watching your video, it's so much more easier to navigate through what to use when. Btw, I color my hair a lot with monthly root touch ups and occasional refreshments of my overall hair color. Can you make a video on how you can keep your hair strong and healthy for someone who colors a lot? I feel like mine gets weaker and loses its shine day by day. ☹️
thanks so much for your videos. they are not only informative, but they are entertaining as well. lol. Can you address styling hair for those who want their natural wave to be accentuated (not blown out and then curled). Some people would think I have straight hair, but I have a natural wave because when I let it hair dry it looks frizzy not straight. I want to embrace the natural wave instead of styling every day. Are there products that can help do that without having to wash hair every day? thanks so much.
My husband gifted me the dyson airwrap. I had already been using the regular dyson for several years. I was so excited to try the new airwrap. But, sadly I was very disappointed. My hair felt dry and crunchy after blow drying. Then when I used the curling wand my curls just didn’t last at all 😢. There is a hair dryer brand that I have really been wanting to try. The brand name is Harry Josh. Have any of you tried it? If so, what is your opinion? I’d love to hear it.
I would try it out more for a bit! I HATED mine when I first got it! The large round brush attachment really has made a huge difference in how I feel about it! If you don't have that attachment I do think it's worth getting to add to the collection. The "curls" the wands produce are not meant to be real curls but more so mimic what a salon style "round brush" blowout is supposed to look like. I think certain hair types can look more curled with them but overall it's not going to produce curls that a curling iron gives. It is a very expensive tool so I often think(myself included) people think it's going to be magic because hello, it should be for the price lol but like anything else it may take some getting used to. The large round brush attachment I do think knocks other brands out of the park, but it is still a massive price tag that it's hard to justify it when other brands still can get the job done. I have not tried Harry Josh myself, but I haven't heard bad things! I love how compact it looks as from a stylist point of view it would be easy to handle and use!
My hair has been waist length and fairly healthy (6 out of 10) for the past 50 years. Two years ago I switched from a detangling comb after shampoo and natural bristle brush when dry to a Wet Brush. Wow, my hair is much less splintered and split! That single hair routine change has improved my hair health to 8 out of 10.
One of the reasons I like the T3 is because of the multiple heat settings but you can still keep the airflow high. I agree some get so hot, and the "cooler" option blowouts out so slow.
I'm new to your channel, but one video in and I'm hooked! 😊 I'm a visual learner, so the video examples you do really help me. Also love that you include the names of the products. 5 stars! 😊 BTW, your skin and makeup is beautiful, especially the eye makeup. Can you make a video on your beauty routine/makeup products?
Welcome to the family! I'm SO happy to hear that you enjoy the content my goal is always to make the tips and explanations easy to understand. Thank you, I have only done one makeup video...but my method to apply has come a long way since that one lol. I plan to do a makeup one, just trying to plan it out right!
Thank you Summer! I have an oval air dry brush that's too big. Plus i have thin, fine hair. I do, however, have a smaller round air dry with 2 different switchable heads.Great tips as well!!
What if you want volume at the root area but smooth hair over all finish. Do you apply first volume product and then a smoothing product? I have curly hair I like it straight with volume
What heat protector would you use if your hair is high porosity? Idk why every time I blow dry my hair with the brush dryer or regular hair dryer but when I get it at the salon it looks amazing.
What products are you using prior to drying? I like the Moroccan Oil Perfect Defense, it comes out of the can great to give coverage without soaking the hair.
Wonderful & helpful! I have trouble with sectioning when doing mine own hair. For example, do you comb out the section before using the ceramic brush? Sometimes my hair gets tangled from sectioning. Or sometime heat seems to impact the pieces that are already dried. any help is appreciated! Thank you so much!
This video just popped up in my feed . This was really informative. I ve had a Dyson air wrap for a few years and love it ❤. Now to watch more of your videos 😊
I have not used that one! I bought their original dryer they first came out with and didn't like it at all really...so have just been hesitant to try something else from them. It's funny because I LOVE the Dyson dryers but hate their vacuums...Love Shark vacuums but didn't like their dryer 😄
Can you address thin old lady white hair? The hair is mostly one colour so no high/low lights to work with. White thin hair has a tendency to show pink scalp through. Round faces don’t suit pixie cuts that style white hair effortlessly. Please address a short Bob for white thin hair, and cowlicks to boot!
I use a wide tooth shower comb on my long wet hair after spraying it with a leave in conditioner. It’s so important to begin combing (or brushing) at the ends and gently work your way up.😃
Can you talk about keratin treatments, and how hard water affects color and texture ? I have too much hair, like 3 heads, and it’s gotten very frizzy even after keratin as well as my color looking dull and brassy as I’ve moved to a place with very hard water. I use a very large oval hot blow dry brush which I love, it makes it so much easier to hold only one tool. My goal is less volume and more smoothing. I will try that boar bristle brush as my hair is very coarse! Love your channel, I’m def subscribing !
Whenever I blow dry I always find so much hair on the brush afterward - is that normal? How does blow drying not weaken your hair if the brush is pulling it from the roots? I want to heat style my hair but I’m so anxious I’m gonna damage it. Even with heat protectant🥺
Hi. Love your videos. I have fine hair and a pixie cut. What can you suggest for a lot of volume on top and to do the next few days. I don’t wash my hair but 2xs a week. Thanks for you advice
A volume powder works really well for pixies! They do have a lot of product feel, you only need to sprinkle on just a little. They do give TONS of volume though to kick up the hair!
@@SummerBeautyc ok! That is so good to know. I couldn’t understand why we couldn’t there doesn’t seem to be anything electronic in the brush attachments. Thank you for doing the demonstration and sharing the results with us. 🙂
I love you and your vids Summers :) You know what makes my hair completely not behave and look bad? My hard water :( I always was able to use a Brita shower filter, but now they are discontinued, sadly. I have tried many other shower filters, but none work like Brita's. Have you ever had to face hard water hair and skin woes? Any tips and help on this dilemma? Thank you so much for all your tips and advice :)
I grew up with well water and my parents still have it and it is a struggle! Malibu C has a hard water wellness line that helps my mom quite a bit. They have little packets that help to remove more of the mineral buildup but manages to still be gentle on the hair. amzn.to/3VNrQ4o Loreal also has their Metal Detox line. I've used a little bit, but my salon coworkers really love the options they have and used them frequently when needed for clients. amzn.to/45NSbnE Hopefully one of those options can help you out a bit. Shame about Brita, I hate when a good thing gets discontinued!
@@SummerBeautyc Yes I know, whyyy Brita??? lol Thank you so much Summer for taking the time to respond :) Like I said I just love ya and your vids and help! :) If you ever hear of a shower filter that really works, please let me know :) Thank you! :)
Thank you! I am wanting to dive into makeup some, just trying to find the time to plan the right video for it! My gloss I was wearing was probably either from Bare Minerals or City Lips.
Hey Summer. That was another great video! I learned a lot, sadly that I am using a large boar bristle brush in my fine hair, and that I have a large oval blow-dry brush for my fine, short hair.😮 I am going to get a ceramic round brush, and look into the Drybar round blowout brush, as the Dyson is not an option. Thank you for the information!
Always taught to look at comb teeth, the ones with seams running through (moulded plastic) are not good. Spend a little more on properly cut ones. They will last longer too so economical long term. Thank you Summer, always follow you and enjoy your content.
I have curly hair and I love the way boar bristle round brushes smooth the hair without excessive heat that can damage my curl pattern, BUT they make my hands so tired 🤬. The ceramic thermal brushes worked decently but I have damaged my curl pattern in the past. I like how the blowout brushes combine the nylon bristles with the boar bristles and have the ceramic coating, but because you can't get as close to the root it's harder to get a perfect smooth result. So It just occurred to me 😒 to check to see if a round ceramic brush with both nylon bristles and boar bristles with a ceramic coating exists and they do! As soon as it arrives I will be trying it to see if I can get the best of all three worlds, smoothness & volume like a boar bristle brush, quicker and more effective drying like a ceramic brush, and ease of use where I don’t get exhausted and there is no texture damage like a blowout brush. Fingers crossed!
Omg yes they do make your hands so tired! I did a Brazilian blowout today and my wrists are definitely more worked than with a ceramic! I'm so glad you found a brush that has both!! You'll have to let me know how it works for you!!
Man this is a tough one! I like that T3 gives you more heat settings to choose from so you have more control overall I feel. This is specifically the Airbrush Duo or. I am not sure if their oval shape one has as many heat settings.
do you find the blow dry brushes to break the hair? i love my revlon blowdry brush and it works great but i feel like my hair seems to break off a few weeks after using them consistently
My hair feels so rough and tangles so badly when I use mousse, but I want the volume. I actually have the same IGK volume creme, it also make my hair rough and tangles. With either, I feel like my hair is snapping as I style, so I often forgo the round brushing at that point and just wrap it up in a clip. Help!
What are you using in the shower and do you use a leave in conditioner? I have not experienced the IGK making my hair feel rough, even if I use too much it more so just leave a film feeling as you don't need a lot of it.
@@SummerBeautyc wow, thanks for the reply ❤ I have fine hair and used to have a lot, but now is thinning from stress and perimenopause. I’m 49. I’ve used Pureology Hydrate since I started coloring my hair (dark brown) consistently 23 years ago. I’ve recently changed from Hydrate to Strength Cure. I’ve used their 21 leave-in since it was called 21. (When I was on a budget, I would cut it in half with distilled water. It would actually distribute better and not weigh my hair down so much) I use it full-strength now and spray it in my hand and pull it through sections. About 4-6 sprays for my whole head - I have a stacked bin that’s grown out to the tops of my shoulders. And brush it through with a wet brush. I use the Laifen dryer on low heat and low flow, and my round brush is 2” boar bristle brush. I’ve tried the Olivia Garden vented one and others like it, but I feel like I don’t get enough tension on it to smooth my hair. Maybe now with it’s changed texture it’s different. I’ve also recently started to alternate my shampoo with Nizoral and that makes my hair so smooth and I follow with K18 mask about 1-2x a week. I recently used Amika’s Kure mask two washes after coloring and love the results. I do get beautiful voluminous results when I use your recommendations, but on mid-lengths to ends. Lots at the ends, where my face and double chin are the fattest 😂 My roots, despite rough drying upside down and lifting and over-directing them off the scalp, fall flat. I’ve thought about using a volumizing shampoo on the roots and all the conditioning products below, but haven’t tried it. And now that I live in a home with extra hard water, it’s all just worse. Thank you again for the response and consideration. Sorry this was long winded, but hopefully it can help others in the same situation. ❤
@@terrirojasI've always found hard water to be really rough on my hair. Now that I do a final rinse with cool filtered water my hair doesn't act rough and crunchy anymore.
Another great/funny/hugely informative video! I've long struggled to pick the right brush.... and I don't think I've ever heard about cleaning them like this. So many thanks as always!
I still don’t know…..in theory, the ceramic round brush “should” be the best option but my hair is fine and none of the ones I’ve tried (and believe me, I have bought a ridiculous number of them in so many sizes) have enough “grip” to hold onto my fine hair and give enough tension to really control my hair and make it nice and smooth and shiny. I would like to try a paddle brush but figure I’d have the same problem. I’ve tried boar bristles but wondered if they were a bit damaging.
I really struggle with the ceramic round brush so I prefer using a blowout brush. I have to admit that I'm usually too lazy for either one, though. Most of the time I will just apply my products and flip my hair over and rough dry it upside down. ☺️
I have thin hair but alot of it I was told. She wouldn't say I have thick but alot of thin, which is good right? Well I've never found my style and has some botch jobs which give me salon fear, I havnt had my hair professionally cut in 4 years 😮 but.. today I'm going to one. I need atleast a trim but no clue what else to do lol
@@SummerBeautyc thank you I agree would you recommend products for this type of hair? Esp shampoo n conditioner but also I may try beach curls and so would love input on other products also thank you for your response. BTW you are absolutely beautiful and I am glad I stumbled upon your channel you're so full of joy and light. The world needs more you
Oh I remember loving that one years ago when I had it! I have so many dryers I love lol. Dyson Supersonic is one of my favs. BaByliss Rapido is solid and light weight. Laifen is built similar to Dyson and actually lighter in weight for holding. The SRI DryQ is very nice as well and I find the red light makes the hair super soft and shiny. Oh and the Rusk W8less is super great price point! My blowout brush favs are the T3 Airebrush Duo and Dyson Airwrap.
Whenever I blow dry I always find so much hair on the brush afterward - is that normal? How does blow drying not weaken your hair if the brush is pulling it from the roots? I want to heat style my hair but I’m so anxious I’m gonna damage it. Even with heat protectant.
When referring to a past video , next time , can you please provide thelink. Most TH-camrs do this so they'll keep watching your past videos instead of trying to find it . Just a suggestion BTW, I ABSOLUTELY ADORE YOUR NEW HAIRCUT. THANKS in advance.
I’m really loving your channel-discovered it recently and have been devouring your videos! So many helpful tips- thank you! One thing I’ve struggled with over the last few years is how to care for my fairly new long hair. Before COVID my hair was chin length and I washed and round brush styled it daily. Now it’s bra strap length and I’ve never really known what to do with it-- so I usually wear it in a bun or pony tail (the main reason I grew it out in the first plac🤣🤣🤣)
Hi Summer and thanks once again for creating such fun and informative videos! I have fine (but a lot of it!), curly, frizz-prone hair that just won't quit. I've been using the ceramic round brush and am currently using a blow dry brush. But would the boar bristle brush be my best option? I've had an Ibiza brush sitting in my Amazon cart for months! Keep your exceptional content coming! UPDATE: I just saw the Ibiza B series and I think that might work better for me?
Ibiza is a great brand! I don't love them for fine hair but it's worth a shot to see if it helps. They are harder to get used when first trying out, because the grip is so different than ceramic, as a heads up if you try one out. Glad you enjoy the channel!
Hi, just happened upon your video. I bought a Lange dryer/ brush option. I would dry my hair to 80% dry, use heat protection, but I noticed that my hair wasn’t getting longer. I am blonde so I’m use to breakage, but literally I was seeing no length. I loved the brush but couldn’t figure out anything else. I quit using it and now my has started getting longer. Suggestions? Thanks
I have so many, I honestly alternate! I love my Dyson Airwrap, the T3 is on rotation as well. I am testing out right now a smaller oval shape, I think it was this video I mentioned it, from the company Sutra so see how it does performance/heat damage/all the good stuff!
It doesn't seem to matter what I do, my hair looks damaged. Even when I stay away from heat, and use heat protectant, and leave on conditioner. I just don't know what to do anymore 😢
I have not tried the Flex Style. I really didn't like their original dryer they came out with(I returned it) so I was hesitant to try the Flex. Frizz can be caused from several things. Not fully drying the hair, not enough of or the right products.
Whenever I go to the hairdresser they always use a comb like the first one shown. I have fine hair and I have lost a lot of hair a couple of times with this type of comb (different hairdressers) I don;t get it
I used a gift card to get the Morricone oil root boost and mouse, I had given up on volumizing products the made my hair feel like sh*t. I hope these don't

Great idea! Thanks for taking the time to comment!
This is a great idea!
Every time I go to a stylist, they brush my hair so hard from the top and then proceed to tell me to be fragile while she’s ripping my hair out!
Lol I have seen this and I always wince!
Agree
No way I could sit through that, I'd think them incompetent. I will even take over the task which usually makes the point.
I don’t allow it and brush out after wash myself. Had one lady tell me she started at the top because there were no tangles up there.
My question is what lower price, blow dryer and curling iron, for gray hair with some natural wave. For a newbie to working with hair style equipment.

Lots of great information. Thank you for the in-depth explanations and examples.
😂 You never fail to crack me up! Great video!❤
😊 thank you
Love my Olivia Garden brush. It’s made all the difference for a beginner like me.
Their brushes are wonderful!
You are hilarious, you could make a great actress. Very helpful tips for my fine hair that breaks very easily. Thank you so much!
Happy to help! Thank you for watching and glad you're enjoying the channel ❤️
I love the blow out brush method. I have three & they all get sooooo hot. I have fine hair. Need a round brush.
One of the reasons I like the T3 is because of the multiple heat settings but you can still keep the airflow high. I agree some get so hot, and the "cooler" option blowouts out so slow.
Thank you, thank you!!! Such a helpful and informative video!!! 👍💕
I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
I'm new to your channel, but one video in and I'm hooked! 😊 I'm a visual learner, so the video examples you do really help me. Also love that you include the names of the products. 5 stars! 😊
BTW, your skin and makeup is beautiful, especially the eye makeup.
I pulled out some of my fine, thin hair with a boar bristle brush. You are definitely right about that! I use the ceramic now 👍
They are a bit scary for fine hair!
Merci pour ces vidéos toujours instructives, faites avec beaucoup d'humour 😊
You are my new best hair friend!!! ❤❤ Thank you 😊 Do you have any hair filler videos for those of us with too much scalp show? (Toppik, etc.)
Welcome to the channel! I have not tried Toppik or products like that yet!
What if you want volume at the root area but smooth hair over all finish. Do you apply first volume product and then a smoothing product? I have curly hair I like it straight with volume
I would put the volume product at your roots first and then follow with smoothing products.
This was the most helpful video! Thank you!😊
Awh, I'm so happy to hear this!
I love your glasses, what kind are they, please?
Wonderful & helpful! I have trouble with sectioning when doing mine own hair. For example, do you comb out the section before using the ceramic brush? Sometimes my hair gets tangled from sectioning. Or sometime heat seems to impact the pieces that are already dried. any help is appreciated! Thank you so much!
Yes, lots of times I will detangle a section with my wet brush before placing in my round brush or blowout brush! It helps a ton!
What is the air brush your using? Please link
What is the best heat protection spray please?
This video just popped up in my feed . This was really informative. I ve had a Dyson air wrap for a few years and love it ❤. Now to watch more of your videos 😊
Happy to have you here and hope you enjoy the channel ❤️
I really need this!
Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Love your channel Summer, so much great information, thank you.❤
Thanks so much!
Great video. Do you have any opinion on the Shark Flexstyle?
I have not used that one! I bought their original dryer they first came out with and didn't like it at all really...so have just been hesitant to try something else from them. It's funny because I LOVE the Dyson dryers but hate their vacuums...Love Shark vacuums but didn't like their dryer 😄
Can you address thin old lady white hair? The hair is mostly one colour so no high/low lights to work with. White thin hair has a tendency to show pink scalp through. Round faces don’t suit pixie cuts that style white hair effortlessly. Please address a short Bob for white thin hair, and cowlicks to boot!
Hi there. What blow dryer are you using in this video??
Would love a video showing how you use the dyson airwrap curling barrels on shorter hair . . . though I don't know if you use these attachments.
Are you making sure your hair is fully detangled before using your blow dry brush?
@@SummerBeautyc Thank you!
Dyson doesn’t recommend washing the brush attachment like that. Did it work the same when you used it after it was dry?
It will only become an issue if you don't let the attachment fully dry before placing back on!
@@SummerBeautyc ok! That is so good to know. I couldn’t understand why we couldn’t there doesn’t seem to be anything electronic in the brush attachments. Thank you for doing the demonstration and sharing the results with us. 🙂
Just make sure you are removing it to clean!
@@SummerBeautyc will do!❤️
I love you and your vids Summers :) You know what makes my hair completely not behave and look bad? My hard water :( I always was able to use a Brita shower filter, but now they are discontinued, sadly. I have tried many other shower filters, but none work like Brita's. Have you ever had to face hard water hair and skin woes? Any tips and help on this dilemma? Thank you so much for all your tips and advice :)
I grew up with well water and my parents still have it and it is a struggle! Malibu C has a hard water wellness line that helps my mom quite a bit. They have little packets that help to remove more of the mineral buildup but manages to still be gentle on the hair. amzn.to/3VNrQ4o
Loreal also has their Metal Detox line. I've used a little bit, but my salon coworkers really love the options they have and used them frequently when needed for clients. amzn.to/45NSbnE
Hopefully one of those options can help you out a bit.
Do you have recommendations for people who have wavy hair and want to wear it naturally.?
This was great! Do you also do makeup tutorials? Your makeup looks awesome and you HAVE to tell me what lipgloss/liner, etc. you're wearing ❤❤❤❤
Thank you! I am wanting to dive into makeup some, just trying to find the time to plan the right video for it! My gloss I was wearing was probably either from Bare Minerals or City Lips.
Hey Summer. That was another great video! I learned a lot, sadly that I am using a large boar bristle brush in my fine hair, and that I have a large oval blow-dry brush for my fine, short hair.😮
I am going to get a ceramic round brush, and look into the Drybar round blowout brush, as the Dyson is not an option.
Thank you for the information!
Glad you enjoyed! Always happy to be helpful!
@@SummerBeautyc you are very helpful and entertaining!
I had the Dry Bar brush, it died after a year 😢. What about the Shark, similar to Dyson but cheaper.
I have not tried the Shark Flex. I feel like people are happy with it over all. T3 just came out with one as well that I'm dying to try!
Always taught to look at comb teeth, the ones with seams running through (moulded plastic) are not good. Spend a little more on properly cut ones. They will last longer too so economical long term. Thank you Summer, always follow you and enjoy your content.
What size brush do you use? I have hair just past my collar bone but my hair is thin so I’m not sure what size brush I should get🤔
I typically stick a 2.5in, a lil larger when I want a more smooth look.
I have fine fine and I do color my hair which blow out dryer T-3 or dry bar? I don't want to damage my hair
Man this is a tough one! I like that T3 gives you more heat settings to choose from so you have more control overall I feel. This is specifically the Airbrush Duo or. I am not sure if their oval shape one has as many heat settings.
What size ceramic round brush? I have shoulder-length hair, very fine, & frizzy.
2in if you want more bend and bounce. Go a little larger if you like to wear your hair more smooth.
do you find the blow dry brushes to break the hair? i love my revlon blowdry brush and it works great but i feel like my hair seems to break off a few weeks after using them consistently
How do you know when it’s time to replace a ceramic brush? My bristles seem crooked and a lot of tugging and catches happening.
What blow dryer do you recommend?
Do you prefer and stander hair dryer or do you like a blowout brush and do you have a price point you like to stay under?
A standard dryer. I would like to stay under $200. Thank you!!
I really like the Laifen! It's fast, light and compact.
Is the T3 going to be to hit for gray hair?
What brands of combs to do you recommend?
I like the cricket combs!
Have you done a video for thin hair with a cowlick on the middle crown thanks
Another great/funny/hugely informative video! I've long struggled to pick the right brush.... and I don't think I've ever heard about cleaning them like this. So many thanks as always!
Cleaning makes a difference! Same with your dryer filter as well! Gotta dust it!
Can you please do a how to video on the Dyson Airwrap w/ different attachments?
Do u have a video on how to get your hair cut that I can take to my hairdresser ?
Can I use a vented brush if my hair is long and thin? I have a lot of hair that is wavy which tends to get frizzy.
Great video! Very entertaining 👏 🤣
So glad you enjoyed! We like laughing here!
What kind of soap for the brush clean? Dish soap like dawn?
That or clarifying shampoo!
@@SummerBeautyc Thank you! Love your videos! So informative :)
What brand is your hairdryer?
Dyson Airstait is phenomenal. Life changing with color wow dream coat.
I haven't heard anything negative about the Airstrait!
The ole rough dry!
@@SummerBeautyc Yes, perfect for when it's hot and/or you're lazy!
It sounds like you have fine hair, which is thin in diameter, but a high density which is always nice!
The world needs more you
What blow dryer do you prefer? I bought the Sam villa about 7 months ago and I’m not impressed at all with it, very disappointed ☹️
Not irrelevant, but what brand of your frames? Love how they look on you ❤
They are the folding wayfarer from Ray Ban!
Thank you!!
Thanks
How do I clean a bore bristle paddle brush?
How about the dryers that the brush rotates are they a good option
What hair blower you use?
I have so many, I honestly alternate! I love my Dyson Airwrap, the T3 is on rotation as well. I am testing out right now a smaller oval shape, I think it was this video I mentioned it, from the company Sutra so see how it does performance/heat damage/all the good stuff!
I bought bought the Moroccanoil heat protectant. ❤❤❤ I have a heat protectant that is an aerosol but this 🥰 incredibly light weight!!! TY
It's so nice right!? It's my favorite!
It doesn't seem to matter what I do, my hair looks damaged. Even when I stay away from heat, and use heat protectant, and leave on conditioner. I just don't know what to do anymore 😢
How long has it been since your starting a healthy routine and how damaged is your hair?
What is your opinion of the Shark Flex Style vs the Dyson Airwrap? I have the Flex Style but still having issues with frizz
I have not tried the Flex Style. I really didn't like their original dryer they came out with(I returned it) so I was hesitant to try the Flex. Frizz can be caused from several things. Not fully drying the hair, not enough of or the right products.
Advice -Brushes for longer hair below bra strap please!
A very large size round brush or the vent brush!
I gave away my blowout brush because it got too hot for my hair. I find your videos so helpful.
I'm so happy you enjoy them!
Love your channel 😊
I've used the cricket brush for a while, mine is slimmer❤
Whenever I go to the hairdresser they always use a comb like the first one shown. I have fine hair and I have lost a lot of hair a couple of times with this type of comb (different hairdressers) I don;t get it
I used a gift card to get the Morricone oil root boost and mouse, I had given up on volumizing products the made my hair feel like sh*t. I hope these don't
I love the MO volume products! They are very light in feel compared to a lot of other brands!
