I love this lady. Most people bore you with details like ingredient quantities, specific weight of the meat, water volume, time, and buying onions. lol
I've made this kind of recipe a few times now and based on a few attempts, this is what I did differently, which made a big difference in flavour I always use Sirloin steak, cut into cubes or thick slices. Sear the meat beforehand, on all sides. Always use beef broth Sprinkle on some beef gravy powder, over here in the UK I use something called Bisto Best, it makes the liquid portion richer and thicker. Instead of using regular butter, use a garlic and herb butter, but melt it beforehand, then pour that over the top, then give it a good stir It's so good, but it is rich, so bear that in mind.
I am not being mean but for goodness sakes, as I read the comments it is just one after the other saying Recipe please, what is the recipe. So either you didn't watch the video as she says several times the recipe is on her website while giving the website name, and even says the link is in the description below. Anyway, great video I love using my crockpot. I checked out your website and holy cow with so many recipes for the crockpot all in one place I might be set for the next 4 years or so :) Thank you for doing what you do and keep up the great work, can't wait to go to your channel and start watching all your videos.
My slow cooker like this one, always cooks way hotter than I think and all of my stuff gets way over cooked. Can I just use a normal crock pot and follow this same recipe?
Gotta be honest. Food and steak is so expensive. I used New York strip steaks I got on sale. Cooked it just like this and it was SWIMMING in butter. Better thing is to make Ree Drummons steak bites in the cast iron with butter and sear it.
Sorry. Not pleased at all. The cooking with the ingredients left the whole dish bland. Followed exactly for the 3 lb. version. I could have cooked this in just plain water. Too watery too. Will not cook this again.

I'd like to see how it looks after cooking, I heard that you should brown the meat before doing in a crock pot.
Always seer your meat first! I follow this recipe except I seer my meat first
It would have been nice to see the finished steak bites.
...... the finished pot is seen at the beginning real quick at ....:13/:14 seconds...
Would think you want to let us know the taste and tenderness
EXACTLY what I was looking for. Got a bunch of top round on sale this morning and it's getting to crock pot time. :)
That's easy even for me and I'm not a cook!! Thanks Carrie!! I'm gonna try that!!
Cool video! I just bought a mini crockpot from Amazon and excited looking up lots of recipes!

try the carnivore diet for your arthritis
Hi. Look forward to making this. Question. What brand is your rectangular crock pot if I might ask. Looks like at least an 8 qt? Thx in advance!
this is an Instant pot Aurora - just a 6 quart.

Hahaha ... I think the ocean doesn't have as much salt as this fine woman has. Salt by the jug 😂😮
And that plastic jar says pink salt. Is it Himalayan or the pink salt used for curing meats? I'll use regular salt.
