This song is just supposed to be a b side track but they use it as a comeback because it's so beautiful.
Thanks! They're called Stage Geniuses and Performers Representative of 4th gen of kpop because of how they tell a story in live stages and with their dance moves. They change concepts and music genres in every comeback but all of them are connected in their dark-gore fantasy storyline about vampire monarchs. Even they continued in live and special stages this story!
They had made references to Shakespeare's Hamlet and Romeo & Juliet, norse and greek mythology, Korean folklore, movies like Max Mad, Dead Poets Society, Us (horror movie like Dreamcatcher did in BEcause), lunar phases and eclipses, etc.
The members participated, since predebut, in lyrics, composition and even their own choreographies!! For this album almost all the tracks (6/7) you can see the participation of Ravn, Seoho and Leedo, all of them both in lyrics and composition. Hwanwoong made the choreography for Luna!
Choi Yerim, the ft in the Intro, is an pansori's artists. Pansori is a music genre where the singer narrated a dramatic story with percussion. Love how they incorporated their own culture,folk dances, in all aspect of their songs.
They're from Mamamoo's company, so live vocals are insane. And it shows in how involved all artists of this company are in their own music in every aspect (lyrics, composition, choreography, selection of outfits, etc.)
I think you'll love their 2 songs with MV that they released in their project called Oneus Theatre where they released songs inspired in movies. And both are B-side of this album!
The songs are Shut up Crazy Hot and Life is Beautiful. The 1st one is a predebut song that they only performed in concerts in 2019 but they finally official released with changes in the lyrics, instrumental anf chireography.

ONEUS' storyline goes all the way back to their debut. They have two (iirc) story films so far that explains some of their lore/story line.
some fans had a thought that this is a continuation of their To Be or Not To Be series.. if you interest, you can check from Concept Film for Come Back Home → Come Back Home → Story Film 1&2 for To Be or Not To Be → No Diggity.. tho im not sure with No Diggity but members said the song is the choice that they chose on To Be or Not To Be ending.. anyway, thanks for reaction!♡
For me, their songs were just masterpieces as always. I just freaking love them too. I feel so happy and super excited about this comeback too. Thanks a lot for this.
Choi Ye-lim is the female traditional folk singer in the intro. She is brilliant in her own right. The lyrics and rhythm are in the style of Korean traditional poetry. ONEUS just nails it. A lot of Korean traditional instruments and dancing is also incorporated. The group presentation of these elements in the video is music perfection. They are also singing completely in Korean. I love this group!

They are collabirating with Pansori genre( Korea traditional music genre) this comeback
: they use many korean old/traditional poem in their lyrics!

Thank you so much for reacting! They do have a storyline based on Vampires and mythology/folklore. MV order of their titles is Valkyrie, Twilight, Lit, A Song Written Easily, Come Back Home, To Be or Not to Be, No Diggity, and Black Mirror. They also do Oneus Theatre which is where they make a song and choreo and use a famous movie theme as inspiration for the MV (example: Shut Up 받고 Crazy Hot is Mad Max themed). Would love to see more Oneus content! They're one of the coolest and most versatile BGs out there right now. If you're looking for storylines watch Come Back Home and To Be Or Not To Be together, it's FIRE bruh. Their whole list of title tracks are great; but I'd especially recommend Valkyrie (Debut), Lit, A Song Written Easily, No Diggity and Black Mirror. You won't regret it!

So glad you're reacting to ONEUS! They drag their feet on uploading dance practices so it might be a few weeks, but they are criminally underrated as dancers. The songs To Be Or Not To Be and No Diggity are both FULL of imagery and storytelling via choreography, and dance practices exist for both! Loved this, dude. Cheers!

Thank you for trying something new and reacting to ONEUS! You will not regret getting into their songs. The previous comments cover the main points of the group and the basic storyline/lore, though I would recommend watching LIT and Twilight before the To Be or Not to Be series. If you watch these MVs and then go back to Luna, you will recognize a lot of imagery and chorography moves from previous songs feeding into this one.
This song is truly a work of art which gets better with every listen. The first listen is jarring because you don't know what to expect (I didn't expect some the sound changes) but by the end of the song it all comes together an makes sense. The dance break is very different from the rest of the song, and I think is referring to the intensity of Intro: Window. The dance break is not in the album audio (which I am okay with) however it does make more sense thanks to Intro: Window. LUNA in general is about longing for lost love, remembering that love with bittersweet nostalgia. However the dance break taps into the anger and frustration of loving that love which is a perfectly valid emotion to have as well.
I am very proud of our boys and am excited to see your journey with ONEUS!!

E'LAST is a group you should definitely check out. Their most recent song Dark Dream is amazing. They have a sound reminiscent of 2nd gen Kpop and they regularly include orchestral instruments in their music that they typically mix with either rock or hip hop/R&B. like ONEUS, they are very conceptual and theatrical and put a heavy emphasis on vocals and performance. i

As for the concept, they have an entire storyline (I think someone else listed the videos on another comment), and they're supposed to be like vampire-type beings who have lived for many centuries (like they said in the intro narration).
If I remember right from the comments during the concert, they said that this song was specifically about a love that had transcended centuries. They still love and miss that person since centuries ago (hence the alternation between traditional clothes and suits during the video). "월하미인" (the title in Korean that translates to something like "beauty under the moon") is actually the name of a white flower that only blooms at night under the moonlight. So, they also mixed it with the concept in the lyrics.

If you like a strong storyline concept, you might enjoy the group Kingdom. Black Crown was their most recent comeback.
Ateez also has a strong storyline.
If you like the traditional elements, A.C.E has a lovely modernization of Jindo Arirang.
I haven't checked out any Kingdom just yet and I actually plan on doing some type of Ateez series in the future! These are actually good suggestions I really appreciate it!
