I could imagine Lennox having a flashback of Ironhide taking him home after 2007, and every mission they went on together. This probably struck his emotion alots when he saw best friend autobots getting blitz by a traitor.
Fun fact, Tyrese Gibson was set to return as Epps along side Lennox and General Morshower. But due to Fate of the Furious being filmed in the US and Transformers 5 being filmed in Europe he was unable to return so we only got Lennox and the General.

Did anyone notice how this was the same voice and general that is also in MWIII's Campaign and gets capped by Captain Price at the end of the campaign? Pretty cool how the guy played duel roles in two completely different things as the same role essentially.
Transformer 3 is the one Lennox plays the best. It's hard to find a military character like him. Maybe he's the best one to be the leading character in Transformer movie serie.

Bay got Josh Duhamel in this movie-one of the most gorge all American looking man of our time. Now combine his perfect looks to military uniform and his hotness level hits stratospheric proportions. Now add his military ranking: captain, major to Colonel. Yum!!! 😋
This movie is the poster child on how a transformers and gi joe teamup would work. For all intents and purposes this is it right here. The gi joes are a secret organization of the military branch like sector 7, basically the army and ranger units like lennox and epps and ace you see are basically joes. Gijoe being like shield and cobra like hydra, the cobra faction uses backwards engineered cybertronian tech after revenge of the fallen in rise of cobra and joes use the mirage iron man or mega man style armor seen in rise of the beasts. Basically this is your template for gi joe and transformers, transformers 2007, 2009 and 2011 right there. The human military characters here are interchangeable with the joes. Its just another team like sector 7. Or like lennoxs team. They would work perfectly together as they have in this movie. So i dont understand some mentally lost tf and joe fans who are like how is it gonna work?! Like i say to them are you slow in the brain or what?! Did you not see the first 3 tf movies?! Like seriously.....
