Here is my theory about this universe : There is a god who made TF and told him to pass the "Nightmare" power to every strong human beings that he met to spread the Nightmare . Akali , Darius , Zyra and Shaco were the first 4 and then came Malzahar and Leblanc . The God wants them to kill and suffer the humanity so Malzahar and Leblanc came up with the new thing called Vitae . They made and leave the Crimecity and go to the upper city called Nox Vegas where Zed and the rest are living . They introduced the Vitae to Leona , Yi , Brand and Zed . But the Zed’s one is special. The Vitae they personally gave Zed has both Vitae and Nightmare so that is why he has both Purple and Green colors in his abilities . Malz and Leblanc did this so Zed can have enough power to kill Leona so they can move their business ( which is spreading the Nightmare to everyone ) to Nox Vegas because Leona are the protector of Nox Vegas and will stop any shady business that can ruin the City . The next thing is just my theory : The Old Ones that Zed mentioned in his interaction with Malz is Old God Nocturne . Nocturne can spread the Nightmare and makes Nightmare , his power is also Purple and Black same as Zed and Crimecity Gang . Since Riot has not confirmed Eclipse’s involvement in this universe so it is just pure theories . ( You can find these connections in both Zed’s interactions and League Wikia ) . Never has it been stated that Zed and Syndra have literally no interest in relationships, Zed is pretty close to kayn as a mentor and still respects Shen. And yes, stories can easily progress through relationships, and even if it doesn't, it doesn't matter. Katarina and Garens relationship has added nothing, but people still love it.

Its a dope skin but.. honestly if anyone should've gotten the Debonair legendary it should've been Sett, He fits the role way more. He is already a leader of a criminal empire (though they only deal in underground fightclubs) he talks alot about his fancy clothes. and his Japanese voice actor is literally Dio. so the jojo reference would've fit on him even more. just my opinion tho
Personally, I love it way more than Galaxy Slayer. Galaxy Slayer is too flashy for me and the E is nauseating. The Q is good in GS but the shadows are so bad, or maybe outdated and the recall of Debonair is way better. People say that his walk looks like trash and his weapons are small, well, he is still a ninja and it is not bad at all. It could be better but it's good and he retracts his weapon on recall and when not fighting, it grows back when he is.
We need Legendary Shen Skin to response to that Jojo Ref from Zed.
