  • God has called us to be overcomers, but it can be very hard to not choose to fall into a victim mentality. Many have had to deal with serious hardships in their lives, some merely pretend to have problems (or cause problems for themselves) to get out of responsibility. But no matter who you are or what you have to deal with, there is no excuse for not living the life that God has called you to. Satan wants you to give up, God wants you to be strong and courageous. Our flesh wants us to look for reasons why we’ll fail, God wants us to look for ways that we can succeed. Don’t give up. Don’t give in. And certainly don’t go looking for excuses. Be an overcomer, don’t be a victim.
SIDE NOTE: Don’t ever get your medical or psychological diagnoses from videos or articles that only want to turn you into a victim. If you think you might have a physical or psychological problem, go to a qualified healthcare professional. They can give you a more accurate diagnosis and can offer educated advice based on your specific situation.
