you say at the end "hopefully it was helpful" what?? it was so awesome!! the quality of the video and instructions, you've filmed, installed and nailed it! way more helpful than the Noosa Mitsubishi staff! thank you for sharing and I hope you channel gets over a million subscribers one day
Thanks a bunch for this video. I installed a second hand one myself today, didn't have any instructions and I followed you vid, made a massive difference. Wasn't too hard except for that nut with the wire attached, took me ages to get it lined up.
Thanks! Good video! I was tempted to DIY but now I know I should not. I can screw unscrew bolts, but cutting the slot in bumper is not my forte. Still very helpful video to understand what's required to get this done.
Interesting and well documented video, I have a 2022 QF Pajero sport and the complete lack of video information, especially relating to the LED wiring harness installation (or any popular repairs for that matter) is underwhelming, especially as there are literally thousands of them on the road. My major concern is how on earth do you disconnect that wiring harness plug from the headlight, other than hit the thing with a "hammer", I have reasonable access by lifting the fuse box out of the way to access the harness with two hands, I wiggled, pushed, squeezed, pulled & cursed all to no avail, is there any other way to get ulcers !!!
@@diysalmon Yeah, have tried that, which pulled the "whole" harness wiring out of it's socket. I've also tried heating the connection with a heat gun & whilst the whole harness was disconnected from the socket & sitting at a 'down hill' angle, I sprayed some silicone spray around the harness male/female connection sleeve, all to no avail. At least by lifting up the fuse box I can now get 1.5 hands into the area, doesn't help though - if it wasn't a major feat, I would remove the headlight :( Probably time to eat humble pie and visit a Mitsubishi dealer - bugger.
@tonyclifford7557 oh wow, usually the screw driver does the trick, sounds like it's fused some how. That's a bugger mate, the only other thing I can think of is use 2 vice grips on each separate part and a reversed clamp to put expanding pressure on the two parts while pressing in the clip release. But that's getting excessive for a plastic clip!
@@diysalmon Your advice and thoughts have been much appreciated, when my local mechanic is back on the job (he owns a Triton), so hopefully he may have a trick or two up his sleeve. In the meantime, have yourself & family a safe and merry XMAS & I will let you know when I have a successful outcome, regards, Tony.
Hey John, sorry I do not, if the screen shots are not sufficient, you can call your local Mitsubishi service department and request them as I did. Hope this helps!
Hi, just to ad to your comment 6 months ago, I have a 2022 Pajero QF Sport and whilst not "pouring " out, there is oil residue around the driver's side intercooler connection junction & yes, I do understand that is normal.@@bradleyswift1986

@tonyclifford7557 hey mate, glad it helped, not much out there on it.
Have you tried prying it off with a flat head screw driver?

Can we take a moment to talk about the oil pouring out the intercooler 😳
that's standard 😂😂
@@bradleyswift1986 neither my mq nor my mr models have a intercooler like that 😂
