    Hey Haulier Raul,
I'm happy for you to be driving the king of the road Scania again. I really enjoy watching your videos. And I'm also a big fan of Scania trucks.
As far as I understood it that incident was not your fault, and there was nothing you could have done to avoid it, so no reason to feel guilty about that unit to be out of action for so long.
I did not know that there was a recalibration at the dealer, of all sensors reset like you mentioned, the ADAS.
What does not make much sense to me is to see that apparently the steering is not currently aligned, at least visually the wheel looks a little tilted to the right when driving straight from my screen view point.
If it is not just taking the wheel off and back again resetting it to be straight, that is a shame, because it will take 6 months or so until the next service. And I'm sure the owner will not be willing to see this truck one more minute stopped at a garage so soon. Why did they leave it like that makes absolutely no sense to me.
Anyway, business is picking up again, so I'm looking forward to watching lots of more content in your channel.
    Haul on!

Raul, I loved your format in the early days when you played music every so often. Also more coupling, uncoupling, loading and tipping bits etc etc

Drove an old R450, 65 plate near a million km on the clock, few weeks ago, still solid as the day it was built I think, scanny's are built to do the job!

Interesting point about your driver scores in the Scanias. Our firm uses telematics with a well known company and we have two types of Units one of which is Scania. In these my scores are high weekly, in the other I bomb all the time.

My old scania S500 was shite. Got a 73 plate 500R SUPER absolutely best truck I've ever tramped in, loads of storage with single bunk and lockers very comfortable and a pleasure to drive.

You said it was boring, but you made me laugh and entertained me. So really enjoyed it.
Scanias are not for me, prefer Volvos or Mercs. Mans loved tow trucks and ERFs wouldn’t start, wouldn’t change gear, and wouldn’t pull.

Probably one of the Best Trucks I Have Driven, if not the Best, the only Issue i have Compared to the DAF's we have is Getting the Comfort just right, the DAF's Comfort is Easy to Achieve whilst the Scania takes a while to get it just right, and even then it's not Perfect.

Well done on the intake manifold. That carbon and oil build up was insane. 😮😮 Always a nice sense of satisfaction when it works.

That truck you passed @11.00 My uncle drove for them on Bulkers and my other uncle drove for the other brothers company Albert and Alfred Hymas.
@Raul if not using Van/Bus for long time take leads off battery but batteries will Discharge over a time if sat on conductive surfaces and if left on
    Concrete oddly "Capacitive discharge"

Good to see a new video. Also, isn't that battery AGM, not flooded? I don't know if there is any difference in the readings.

    • @Raul689
      @Raul689  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

It was lead acid. So flooded. Usually agm's are in vehicles with start stop

@@Raul689 I think maintenance free batteries are agm, lead acid batteries have screw caps to refill with distied water. My bike has agm type battery. First time you have to fill with acid, but then it is sealed and cant be opened.

New pass that fancies trying containers here, abs love how u just cruising round the docks chatting away about engines and boys stuff while I'm checking out all the hazards, narrow lanes, metal fencing and wherever there's no fencing they lob down all those yellow chods of concrete whoever designed those yards have no sympath for that clench your arse and cross your fingers new pass syndrome 😂 brilliant watching 👍

The company I am at use telematic to assess driver performance and the reward is around £150/month for scoring an average of A.
I love the radio infotainments system which switches to camera-view in your Scania.
