Hoping to reclaim the glory of the 1967 Hit The Road Stax tour the 1970 Atlantic soul package show was troubled from the start. Clarence Carter left early, dissatisfied with his band, Joe Tex pulled out before the end and Sam and Dave split soon after the tour. However, the clips tell us the vibe was hot that night in Rome!
