Thank you for this reaction..glad that you're liking these series. BTOB was so young then..but I guess they didn't change that much..still loud & chaotic as ever..but more matured, serious & professional now. I know how uncomfortable it is for a group of 7 members to stay in 1 room in a dorm that's a bit small. (Well, when I was in highschool, I was already staying in a boarding house and we're 6 in the room. Then when I was in college, we were 16 in the room in my dorm..see what I mean? haha) But I believe in a way, being in that crowded dorm, sharing spaces & things & doing stuff together just made their brotherhood strong. BTOB members really have that special bond that holds them together, whether it's trust, laughter, dreams and everyone supports each other and that's so good. The boy group that they interacted with on the video is VIXX..they had lots of activities with them in the diaries.
Nice that BTOB is catching up and becomes available in different platforms. Tho honestly, I'm really not into that bubble..I just don't think it's practical when the Beats normally interact with Melodys via IG live, Twitter & Twtr space. But I'm glad they're on weverse & I'm just new to it too but I think it is fun. Anyway..I don't know which is better..with you reacting to the concert live or just recording..whatever it is, one thing is for sure..I'll be watching your BTOB reactions. 😄 Can't wait for the next ones..

Yea I think rooming is really nice tbh, it’s nice to take a break and have a random convo with my roommate lol just being that cramped is kind of frustrating :/ just would’ve been nice if they had two rooms to sleep in haha but I agree, rooming together definitely helps create a closer bond!
Peniel puts everything he posts on bubble on Weverse anyway 😂 he’s funny lol I think a majority of the money made from bubble goes to the artists though, so I’m glad to know it at least goes directly to them lol but I know what you mean!! There’s so many platforms already and that are free at that

Debut btob is cute and chaotic lol they really didn't change much. The maknae line, especially peniel and sungjae, are too adorable, my heart can't handle it 😭
I think peniel's korean was already good back then. He was just too shy/self-conscious to speak much in front of the cameras but within in the group it was okay. He moved and became a (jype) trainee in 2010 (or 2009, I'm not 100% sure) and went to high school in korea. He also already had a lot of foreign idol/trainee friends back then so maybe it was easier to learn from them because they could explain it better.
Their dorm shocked me when I saw it for the first time. Cube may not be the biggest company but they already had some successful groups in 2012 (4minute, beast and apink) and it's not like they didn't have any budget so why couldn't they give them a bigger/better dorm? One that didn't have mold in the summer or one that had at least two bedrooms so eunkwang didn't have to sleep on the floor... As far as I know they stayed there for 4 years until the vocal line moved into a new dorm while the rap line lived alone (or at least peniel did, minhyuk and ilhoon shared a apartment for a while if I remember correctly)
This series is really fun and relaxing to watch so I'm glad you decided to do this one in between :D
Beast's dorm in their early debut days is the worst. Their dorm is semi basement like the one in Parasite movie. All members in one room with 3 double decker beds. People even fans sometimes peeking into their bathroom window. Imagine people can look at you while doing business 😢 Gladly they moved out after they hit big in Korea in 2011 if I'm not mistaken.
@@lightmelodyuniverse oh god. this sounds absolutely awful! cube really does a bad job at managing and taking care of their idols since the beginning huh? I’m glad they didn’t have to stay there for too long but still those years must’ve been hard for them.
@@youngjaenal that was when Cube still a small company. Gikwang from Beast literally their first artist. So I think it's understandable since Cube still struggle financially. Lightsum's dorm now looks pretty adequate for them, not too luxurious but convenient enough.
One thing that I'm being thankful to Cube despite their incompetence is they discovered these gems, polished and debut them being an idol. Beast was called recycled group just because all of them are left out from their previous groups/companies. Eunkwang and Changsub were never once thought of becoming an idol, Jinho of Pentagon was gave up his dream to become an idol after a long period of training at his previous company. Then Cube offered them this opportunity and the rest is history. But, if Cube could step up their game with good promotion and welfare(?) that would be fantastic!

I thought so too about Peniel! Because I remember some melody telling me he didn’t have a lot of lines in the beginning because of his Korean but it seemed to me he understands everything perfectly fine? 🤷🏼♀️
Yea it’s crazy to me they throw these idols in a tiny apartment with all of their things and say here you go, hopefully you have enough beds bye. Like wut 😳

Toni you mentioned after Jeongwaja last time if we recommend just any other fun and easy content you to watch, and I just remembered I want to suggest watching just ONE DIVE podcast episode with Peniel!
You might have already watched it, but it might be cool to just see you react and talk about just topics in life, since you sometimes do that with the BTOB vids, I really think it's fitting for you. Personally, I recommend the recent one, season 3, episode 33, where they talked about healthy fandom cultures.
Also, cus it's fun seeing Peniel's super extroverted side when he speaks English, and not many people react to Peniel content haha
Another recommendation is BTOB's LAST and FIRST LIPSYNC stage of Thriller which was the biggest mess I have ever seen, their mouths were closed and everything, it was hilarious.
+ p.s I think maybe doing one stream on twitch and uploading a vid of it on youtube might be cool! But tbh, as long as you have a link of it on youtube, or just do it completely on youtube, either way its totally fine for me!
Also, just a TMI, not now, but apparently during their baby days, Eunkwang was a pretty timid leader, who was too kind to be strict to any of the younger members so Minhyuk was a bit more in lead.
But recently, the members mentioned that if it wasn't for Eunkwang's kind leadership that evolved throughout the years, they wouldn't have lasted this long, with every single member having a strong character and opinions or style of music.
Yea absolutely! I’ve never watched a full episodes of their podcast, just catch little YT shorts here and there lol but it’s really nice seeing Peniel talk to openly about different topics. I caught the one episode where he said he didn’t consider toxic fans his fans and I was like oh! 😂 savage lol I will definitely add that episode to my list though 😊

Honestly I think having a rotating leader model is more sufficient. Like one member takes charge when they need someone who is strict and then another member takes charge when they need team building or something like that. Because it’s always a team effort and every single member brings something different to the team!

If you have time you can add that into your series of reactions. The show's called "We got Married (Season 4)" They're in Ep. 276-320 I think, it will be short every ep coz they will show 3 "married'' couples each ep.
And also they produced a song during that time it's titled"Young Love". Hyunsik helped them composed/arranged the song, so I hope you could find time to react to that.
