In a time when words like community and kindness are buzzwords one adds to there post on a social media platform to gain attention and support, it's truly awesome to see someone who is having there actions match there words!! That in itself is a huge inspiration to me. Keep being excellent Dainsey!! The world needs more blokes like you!! Cheers mate!!
Hey mate, we are all in this together I truly believe. Actually helping each other out costs zero dollars. Yet we will all be better off in the end. Always appreciate your comments Zac, well thought out and very kind. Thanks again for sticking with me
Hank you for sharing.👍
Too easy. Cheers
You know what you where doing with that intro- i thought we where about to need a hero to step in and take up the pallet man title...
As someone who's definitely messaged on insta about the small pallet table you inspired me to make all i can say is thank you, you brave little tablesaw
🤣 the old saw is off to a semi retirement or so it thinks haha. Cheers mate
Part of your gift is your natural "evil-genius" grin. I have a similar grin.!
A joy to behold, each time
Thanks very much mate
I have to be honest, Dainsey, I have been woodworking for more than 50 years, and I have never enjoyed it as much as since I started watching your channel a few years back! I used to agonize over what wood I was going to use for a project, how I was going to afford to buy the wood, what finish I was going to apply, and so on… almost to the point that is wasn’t much fun anymore.
Then I happened upon one of your videos, and my interest sprang to life again, realizing I didn’t have to pick just the right species of wood, just the right dimension, and just the right hardness… the colors of pallet wood, the randomness, the deep shades and light shades, all have an inherent beauty of their own! And the price of this beauty is modest to say the least.
While watching your videos, I have laughed, felt inspiration, and just all around joy once again. Thank you for all of that!
I hope your new table saw becomes a joy for you and not a “buy once, cry once” occasion! Looking forward to seeing your new toy in vids to come…
Hang loose, goose!
Hi mate, this comment made more that just my day. Really appreciate it more than I can adequately describe here. Thank you so much for tuning in
Cannot like this enough. I never thought that someone could make me emotional about a table saw! 😂
Me either haha!
Thanks from the UK... that's it, just thanks. Won't bang on about how you, and a few others, have helped pull me through some fairly dark times of late; you have no idea. Forever grateful! Cheers 🍺
Gday mate! Well that is really nice to hear. Glad you are in the up! Keep well
you're a good dude, dude . . . can 150% say your content and character have helped me get re-started with doing stuff again AND helped me find value in aspects of life. . . after a couple rough decades. . . finding this channel helped and as much as you can not find the words rest assured neither can a lot of us express adequately your impact has, had and hopefully will continue to have. one of the blessed benefits of living a life with purpose and finding value in things most people would ignore along with being a genuine human being . . . these are the things i see in you, your videos and work ethics, thank you.
Ahh mate. That is so nice to hear, enjoy the time and stick to those ethics
Loved the video, great work getting everyone involved.
That part made me laugh every-time I edited it lol 😂
Yet again a most excellent job and inspiration video 🏴🏴
Party on 😆 cheers matw
Dainsey I think you go beyond encouraging people to glue wood together. Your message is universal. Universally encouraging us to dig deep and search inside for what it is we should be doing, finding what happiness looks like. I don't think happiness for anyone is sitting on a couch, I think it is about solving issues, about expressing ourselves by creating things that reflect our inner light. If it hadn't been for you I would never have found myself with a pallet from a dark alley stowed in the back of my car and sawdust all over the garage.
Great video, poignant funny entertaining and educational. Thanks for making it for us.
That is awesome to hear. Thanks very much for the very kind words mate
Hi Dainer, Sergio here, from Brazil. I'd like to thankyou for what you're doing and sharing with us, especially the way you do it, with just simple tools, a lot of work and lots of good mood. Tks
Hey Sergio, thanks mate. That is always nice to hear
Excellent video. I love your attitude.
Thanks very much 🫡
You're a good egg Dainsey. I share your sentiment totally mate. I do community radio and always close my show with "just be nice to each other". Keep doing what you do. You've inspired me to get my shed organised, if nothing else. ✌️❤️🎶
Well that is cool mate. I think the more people hear these words. Then the more they rub off!! Keep at it
It's not an exaggeration man. A lot of us couldn't afford wood and pallets were the only reasonable source to go to. You're one of the first channels to pop up when searching for pallet furniture so you've given a lot of us the first steps to making something of it and I can never thank you enough.
Cheers mate. That’s really nice to hear and stoked you are enjoying it all
Love your channel. I showed what you do with pallets to my grandson and he was thoroughly impressed, so much so that he want to try his hand at making something with reclaimed wood. He's only 11, but very creative so it's going to be interesting to see what he comes up with.
Wow! That is actually really cool. Don’t let the age stop him! All the best and enjoy getting him started
Your videos make me feel excellent. Like sending old yeller to a new home. Excellent move.
thanks very much mate, old yellow will be in a good place soon
Most definitely an inspiration. Your videos are entertaining. Thanks for bein here.
Thank you
Another brilliant video farewell old faithful ( table saw) off to pastures new
😆 cheers mate. It’s going to a good home
Didn't expect to find myself binge watching a stack of your videos and even having you make me laugh out loud. I've rediscovered my love of woodwork recently and I look forward to watching more of your videos as my journey continues. Many thanks & all the best.
Hi Rebecca. Well I’m glad you’ve had a good binge! 🤣 Nice to hear you’re back at it. Enjoy
The table looks great and was a terrific send-off for the old DuhWalt. I hope Gregg gets as much joy and use out of it as you did!
Thanks for your time and effort, your vids/projects are really interesting and appreciated.
I hope so too! Thanks mate
Cracking story and final build with the old faithful.
Hey hey! Thanks mate… can’t juts make a table anymore can we 😉
You had me at "goodbye."
Haha Lolsies
Beautiful table!!!
Thank you!
Looking very nice 👍 i can't wait to see your new tablesaw 👍👍
I want to add my thanks to the thousands of others who have thanked you before. I’m now a pallet junkie and you’ve encouraged me to just get started and have a go - balls ups and all!
I’m loving the creative bit, I’m loving the surprise on people’s faces when you say it’s made out of pallets, and I’m loving the headspace of being on my own, in the shed with a pot of glue and piles of wood. Cheers, mate. (P.s., I won’t send you my old table saw as it’s a heap of sh!t and the postage to Oz from the UK would be prohibitive, but it’s the thought that counts, right?)
Totally agree with Zac below, and thanks for helping me to "Just get Started! Regards Alan
Awesome mate, always nice to hear
7:15 paused the video to say you're a legend. Just made my day. That phrase is the best thing since sliced bread.
🤣 cheers mate! What was the best thing before sliced bread 🤔
Mate, you have more talent and skill than I think you realise, look forward to seeing what you come up with in the future.
That jobsite saw is an absolute ripper, but you won’t know yourself with the new equipment !
Maybe you should make a pallet as a first project with the new tool 😄
Cheers mate, that is very kind. Coming up with new things that are actually interesting is the hard part. A pallet hey… that could be an option believe it or not 😆
Well done, mate. Cheers
Thanks very much 🫡
Wedding wall art. Make a piece from the off cuts and laser engrave the couples names and date of the wedding. Then you could make up a pile of small love hearts people could put their names on. You could add a piece of glass or perspex and the people could put the hearts into it and the couple could hang it at home as a keepsake from their happy day.
Cool suggestions. Cheers
Watching your work gives me great pleasure, greetings from POLAND
Hello! Thank you mate
It makes a bloke feel good inside to pay it forward Dainsy, good on you mate. I imagine there'll be a follow up video ? I just got a new saw myself, it's a ripper (pardon the pun). Thanks for the shout out via the t shirt, it still looks good on you. 😂. Oh, the coffee table looks mint too. Keep up the good work. All the best.
I’m guessing there will be many a follow. When it arrives, I’ve gotta make several vids for Timbecon too to really flash it around. Thanks mate, your T shirt always lands in top of the washing pile 🤣
Ya cheeky bugga 🤣
😜
I have a constant mental battle with woodworking. When I'm at work at my desk, I want be be in my garage/workshop making stuff. When I'm at home I think of all the stuff I "could" build, but don't have space, time or tools. I have a small table saw and an even smaller mitre saw. No jointer or planer. My biggest problem is in my head. When I'm really struggling for motivation. I keep hearing "Just git started!" And thanks to you. I make what I can when I can. Once again thanks Dainesy!!
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Love the ending. We should all help out a Greg or 2 when we can.
We should mate! Catching up with a Greg in a day or so
I have the same table saw. Built it in to a rolling table bench and it works excellently!
Dainsey you're a f***ing genius - just the inclusion of skateboard veneers in a coffee table (and it works!!!) is off the chart
Wow! Thanks mate 🤣
You see, what non-pallet/crate builders don't understand is, Wood Glue IS the 'magic' that makes it possible to use them 'S' shaped dang runners and planks and stuff to make really beautiful stuff.
That is indeed the secret lol
M8 your a big hairy bastard had me nearly greeting start that thinking u was throwing it and this was last video then at the end can resonate alot with what u said. Weve had our back and fourths but lollies 😂😂 but u and the other makers that are part of small group will never no how much we all appreciate everything you do and have helped me and loads of others.
Ya Legend!❤️👍🏴😀
Haha! You know that I know that you know I’m not going anywhere for a while yet. Thanks as always for the nice comments and watching all the things here 👍👌🙏🫡🤓
I have gotten started because of makers like you. Knowing I don’t have all the tools or space or skill. So starting with things like pallets and ambition has me excited about where it can lead. Thanks and keep it rolling.
Awesome to hear mate. It can build up pretty quick. Especially if you find a few buyers for your creations. Enjoy and will do
You’re the best Dainsey. Love your channel and that table is beautiful. 🙂👍
thanks mate, it was a fun one
Dale... 🤩🙃 oh man...
Always up for a cameo 😁
Hi there just another person you encouraged to ‘just get started’. Thanks. Now encouraging my grandson to do the same
Wonderful! Really nice to hear mate
We laughed, we cried! What an awesome video, Dainsey. I don’t know which is better - the table or the show. Thanks for all you do, and mark me down for another life changed by you!
Epic comment! Couldn’t agree more
Hey Silas! Let me pin this one. Just because you’re a fantastic person 🎉😊 thanks for being a legend in the comments section
@@dainermade Now my life is complete!
Am from Portland, Oregon and I just found you and so glad I did. Love your work and you made me smile. Thank you.
Awesome! Thank you!
Simply the best
Thank you
The desire to glue bits of wood to other bits of wood is so simple, yet so unifyingly special. You may be saying goodbye to an old friend, but in a way we are all thankful for what it's given....to all us.
Cheers mate, thanks to you though I want to let form ply christen the new machine, maybe make a nice pallet like Damo suggested 🤣
@@dainermade I love it when you talk dirty.
That extra space looks good. Love the roll out with the folding roof. You've earnt the upgrade mate, looking forward to seeing which model you settled on... and how you'll make it fit with eh laser... and CNC... and Kuffy bench... 🤣🤣🤔🤔
These are all future Mark problems Jimbo. A nutty plan is starting to form though. 🤔 and thanks mate
THANKS MATE😀
You’re welcome
Accentuate the balls! 😂 thats made my day! Also love how you guys always end up in each others videos.
Lol! I do like a cameo! Makes my day as I edit it haha
Brilliant quite emotional same saw as mine lol keep the videos coming
Cheers mate. Will do
You had me scared there for a moment Mark, glad to know you are going to continue inspiring us. You were the one who really first got me excited about woodworking. I just had a devastating fire that completely destroyed my little wood working shop and all the tools I had gathered including my new DWalt thickness planer and a nice jointer to add to many other handy tools and materials, all my broken down pallets and other wood and four beautiful finished pieces. Pretty discouraging, but I have not given up and my great community has stepped up to help me start over again. I am so glad you turned me onto something that has given me such satisfaction and enjoyment. Keep 'em coming. One of the last pieces (that burned) was with end grain coffee table that was looking so good.
What a very nice table. simple but very nice. I love this video.
Glad you like it!
Thanks for another great video. And yeah, you and some of the other guys doing this have not only inspired me to get started with woodworking more seriously, but also going to be starting my own TH-cam channel to record my journey with joining one piece of wood to another. The other thing you said about helping bring someone through a dark place, that's why I even thought about the idea of building. My wife died last November, and long story short, I ended up homeless and having to move, losing everything I spent 30 years building up. Your and others' videos have given me a bit of light and hope that I can be productive again. Thank you.
Nice one mate, really like that tabletop, the yellow worked out great 👍👍
Thank you Mr Mario 🤣 always appreciate you watching my vids
What suiting end for the table saw. I cannot wait to see what your are able to do with your new saw.
Me too mate. I better share it up, see when I’ll actually get it in the shed. 😁
I'm guessing there will be a breaking in the new saw video? Looking forward to that.
Just wish I had half the skill you and the other maker have, guess I'll just have to watch and enjoy the show. 🤜🏻👍🏻🤛🏻
Thanks mate, the skills really do come bit by bit, trial and lots of error 😆 The new saw will get some sort or intro for sure.
Awesome video, brother. I love your self deprecating humor and your sentimental side as well as the creative streak that gives me inspiration to get back into it as well. What you did at the end for your friend was simply awesome.
Keep it up, you've gained a loyal follower.
I appreciate that! Thank you so much mate
Awesome video! I dont usually comment much on videos but this one was special. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you. That’s always appreciated 👌
You truly are an inspiration mate. I might be a bit late to the party as I've only just started to watch and follow you. I'm addicted. Keep doing what you do, in the unique way you do it. 👍
I appreciate that! I promise I will do just that
Excellent, I always enjoy your videos. Also, I love working with pallets to see what I can create next. Thanks for the inspiration.
Too easy and thank you very much
you gave me a heart attack! 😭
Sorry 😂😂
Wow, your level of craftsmanship is going up with every video. This looks stunning with a great eye for detail.
Wanted to get started a while ago. Had everything set, did some experimenting and then... my kids started needing more daddy time.
Oh well... First things first i guess...
Cheers mate, those years fly buy. So enjoy them while they last. Before you know they’ll be in school, and if you happen to be home that’s some serious shed time. I’m a shift worker and that time is when I do most things
Looking good Mate. Thanks for sharing what you do.
No worries! thanks for watching
So many fantastic comments. Not only on this video, but across all of your videos. That one peanut accentuates the balls of jealousy. The math is simple Dainsy, you are a good human who is awesome at what he does. Keep being excellent 🤘🏼
Thanks mate! You are a genuine good punter! Thanks for sticking with me
Morning Mark, your videos just never cease to amaze me! I have the UK version of your table saw, and I agree it’s a great work horse - mine isn’t as well used as yours though! Keep them coming, and most of all Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, you too! Enjoy it all mate
Well done mate, just got myself a new 10 inch table saw and out with the old.😂
Excellent, enjoy that and the new opportunities it brings
Enjoy watching you from Brownsville, Texas
Tipping you are as brown over there 🤣
The hands montage was awesome 😂❤
😆 gotta have some fun hey
I fell for it! lol
🤣 sorry
Dainsey!!!!! Mate!!!! You have helped me get past my creative block and JUST GET STARTED!!!! I have been making some things over the years. Now with Christmas approaching I have orders for people who enjoy and Like my work. Hopefully I will join you and many other makers of TH-cam. Do carry on with the randomness of your projects and keep us inspired. Once again many thanks Mate!!! Cheers!!
I am relieved it's only goodbye to your old faithful saw. I think you are, without question, one of the best content creators on TH-cam. I've watched all of your videos. Some of them a few times. Keep up the good work. Much love from the UK.
On ya Dainsy. Another good one. 😊
Thank you! Cheers! Get back in that shed 🤣
I love it
Thank you
Great video! Well done and thank you
Thank you too!
Ah Mark! Slide a piece of that yellow skateboard material in those half slap joints, bro! Amen to your jobsite table saw reflections and goodbye (good buy).
That was actually a plan early on. Wish I had of remembered. Cheers
That is one beautiful table you put together.I hope I'll be able to match your quality someday. Thank you!
Thanks mate. I’m sure you will. It’s a bit by bit hobby. I learn something on every project and try improve on the next one
Another inspiring video mate. I have been watching your videos for years now and they have helped me immensely. Not only getting great ideas, but also my mental health. Keep on doing what you do.
That’s really nice to hear mate. Stoked the woodwork is giving you the good stuff
Just simply put… Thank You and GOD BLESS
Cheers mate 🫡🙏👌
As someone who's starting again, in a new place, I loved your message buddy. And I too, will be doing a lot with pallets. They're so easily accessible to me at my workplace, it just makes sense.
Thank you for your inspiration!
Too easy mate, thanks very much for watching
I recently, about 6 months now, began learning this woodworking skillet. I have been watching alot of videos, using pallet wood, scrap wood and fence pickets as primary sources for learning this trade. I have enjoyed your videos creativity with laminating to be creative. So thank you for the good times, and knowledge.
To easy mate, I hope you enjoy it the good woodwork times
Nice one Dainsey, when you said good bye I thought you meant to your day job and turn your side hustle into your day job.
One day mate. One day
Always a great watch Mark 👍. Your constant happy attitude to a project, despite shown 'Dickhead' moments has made all of us feel 'Normal'. Especially those of us who are just starting on making items from pallet wood. Thanks to your channel, my first pallet wood table is getting close (hopefully by the end of the weekend) to standing on its own legs. Just GREAT content, and a brilliant window to see what, and how, it can be done. The world needs more Marks...😉.
Cheers
Pete' New Zealand.
Hey Pete. Thanks very much mate, that’ll be the direction of the channel for a while yet. I’m glad to hear you’re out there enjoying yourself
Another absolutely awesome piece of work the table looks amazing great job. I also would like to thank you for what you do and the inspiration you give in everyone of your videos.
Too easy mate, I am very happy they have that affect. I could not ask for more to be honest
Great project, fab video and excellent gesture. 👍🏻👌🏻
Glad you enjoyed it cheers
Great video my friend! Excellent build!
Thanks very much matey
I'm not woodworking (damn would love to) but you helped me *_just get started_* on my channel. Thanks, Dainsey!
Well that is just a cool to hear mate. Cheers
You could make a floating cube cabinet, that consists of 2-2 cube cabinets jointed together by a 2-2 black pieces of wood. So it would look like a cube made out of 4 cubes, made out of small rectangle shapes. ❤
Not sure what that would look like. I rekkon that sounds like something you could have a crack at 🫡
Those cameos were brilliant! And can I just say it was not lost on me that you got both Dale and myself to do this, with an obvious disadvantage, peanut! Enjoy the new saw
We was conned, i tell you. CONNED!!
You don’t need all your bits to join pieces of wood to other pieces of wood 🤣
Job well done! Put on a smile on many a dial mate 😆
Great work as usual can't wait to see what you come up with next.
Thanks mate, hopefully won't be too long
You have been an inspiration to me for many years and influenced our TH-cam channel for many years. Keep creating.
Wow, thank you! Enjoy
I think this is your best project so far. Keep on goin!
Thank you. Will do 🫡
10:33 You should consider a t-shirt with that on, sums you up lol! "I'll get the glue"
I need a few T-Shirts by the sounds of it. haha
I'd like to add to the list of people to thank you. I started building a wood shop and buying tools when I was 14. At 22 I was making a very good living building custom cabinets and furniture. Around 26 I just completely lost interest... In pretty much everything. I'm now 30 and trying to find anything to love again and your channel, which I just came across tonight, actually inspired me. I'm fortunate to have an enormous shop, but my wood shop has been pushed to the corner over the years to make room for mechanic projects. I'm going to try setting it back up and making something out of reclaimed wood and see what happens. Thank you from Colorado.
Hi mate, sounds like a nice plan. My guess is the woodshed will take over once again. enjoy
@@dainermade I just bought a fallen down barn in Western Colorado. I've got more historic barn wood than I have common sense. Definitely an impulse buy but there's lot's of great material. I've got one more engine to build and then I can set my woodshop back up and start creating! Last year I bought a Xtool D1 Pro so I could make an urn for my cat that I dreamed up. I now have two cats to make an urn for so I guess it was a good investment. I was also given a 240V Grizzly dust collector with a bunch of accessories and ducting. I've got a lot to work with in designing a new space to work. I've thought about trying to video this crap and start a channel but every time I've tried before I just feel like an idiot and never post. It's not like youtube needs another guy spoiled with a warehouse to play in. Sorry for the rant... I've got a lot on my mind I guess. Thanks for the reply, I always feel pretty special when I get to interact with successful creators. It's better than meeting celebrities!
Bugger..., you had me there. 😊
Soz, gotta have a little fun hey
Thanks mate!
Very welcome mate
Wonderful sentiment, wonderful gesture, wonderful table. Keep being inspired, and being inspiring!
Thank you so much!
