Thank you for laying things out in such a clear up front manner with excellent visuals. I don't know why my school has so much trouble doing this, the person writing our lectures will start off on a topic jump to another without fully completing the first, then return to the first topic then jump randomly to something else and then repeat the information that's already been mentioned then jump again to another random topic lol

This is absolutely amazing. I could not find a single video that simply explained the origin of epaxial and hypaxial muscles. Well done!

Very excellent. I would like to see a "prequel" video of this same quality showing post-neural tube formation how the clock and wave process begins organizing the formation of somites with bilateral symmetry control.

Very good and clear video, but I just wanted to point out a little discrepancy between what you're saying and what my professor said about the origin of the rectus abdominis muscle. Here you said that it is derived from the hypomeric part of the myotomes, but my prof said that it is formed by the lateral plate mesoderm (somatopleura). I'm a bit confused, so could you (or someone else) please enlighten me? Thanks!

Thanks for watching … the rectus abdominis muscle is derived from the hypomere. Here is one reference… emedicine.medscape.com/article/1297184-overview?form=fpf#a1

    Human creation in Quran
We have created man from an extract of clay.
    (Surah Al-Mu'minun, verse 12)
Then We made him a sperm-drop in a firm resting place.
    (Surah Al-Mu'minun, verse 13)
Then We turned the sperm-drop into a clot, then We turned the clot into a fetus-lump, then We turned the fetus-lump into bones and We clothed the bones with flesh; thereafter We developed it into another creature. So glorious is Allah, the Best of the creators.
