Tom I am headed here in a week and I LOVED this video. It was perfect and now I am buzzing with excitement. Thank you for a great video and I subscribed and can’t wait to watch the rest of your videos. I’m from Binghamton NY and saw you did the Ross Park Zoo, can’t wait to watch!
What a gorgeous place. The snorkeling and swimming with the sharks looked very fun. I bet it was a blast being so close to the dolphins. That's something I've always dreamed of doing. Excellent vid as always, your camera work is top notch.
It was a wonderful experience, the dolphin swim was the highlight of the day. Really fun getting to interact with the dolphin. Thank You Stacy, I've gotten so much better filming my content. If you go back to my early work's it's like night and day.
Awesome place and video, Tom! The interactivity with the dolphins (even though we couldn’t see it, I could tell you were having a great time through your photos) at this place was amazing.
Oh yes, I loved every part of my dolphin experience. We got to pet her tail fin and get close-up to her for our photos. During the swim part I could feel how strong she was.
I showed you my photos I had done, check towards the ending of the video. The photos are really nice, you can choose which photos you like best or get them all.
@@123xsinead life vests are also provided. The majority of the lazy rivers are shallow enough to walk through. The depth does get deep in portions of the larger one. Floats are in the larger one that you can use. There's plenty of lifeguards also. I hope everyone in your group as a blast 😀
My recommendation for the future would be to some research. Their website would have have answered both this and your snorkel question. It’s always a good idea to research your travel destinations. TH-cam videos can only take you so far. Just some friendly advice
Hey Tom! What an amazing video! Me and my family are planning ( still working on details, it`s going to be a fairly pricey trip, that`s for sure ) and i may just recommend this place to my parents, it would make for a wonderful day! Although my dad might need a beer or 2, my siblings can be somewhat hectic lol. You`ve told me that you have a sister before, how did you guys get along as kids? What`s the age difference, i believe you told me that she`s older? You looked like you had an absolute blast Tom! I was very jealous while watching this! I happen to LOVE water-parks! My aunt and uncle live about 9 hours from my hometown, we usually go and visit them a few times in a summer, depending on how busy we are. About 15 minutes out of their city ( i won`t name the city for 2 reasons, 1: Not very safe doing that online, 2: You don`t like it when i do that ), there`s a water-park called Calypso. Lots of tall slides and a wave-pool, a lazy river with fake African animals like lions, elephants, penguins ( African Penguins ), cheetahs etc... Very fun water park! Very easy to spend your entire day there, that`s for sure! I think we go a opening ( 10AM i think and stay until like 5-6PM, closing ). Some timestamps for you Tom: 46:24: I`m 99.99% that these are Eagle Rays! Very pretty! I`ve read about them and seen documentaries that include them! I`ve read about them in tons of nature books ( which i`ve been very heavily bullied for unfortunately and had my glasses broken, the bullies yelling: You`re just a nerd! You`re a nobody freak! I was only a kid, and i cried, thankfully i was saved by a teacher, i got new glasses that night ). But one of the Goosebumps books has an eagle ray in it. Not the monster, no. The family was fishing in the swamp and an eagle ray jumped out of the water onto the sister`s face and she fell into the water with it, she thought it was a monster. Once she`s back in the boat, her father ( who`s a scientist ) tells her that he is pretty sure that it`s an eagle ray, coming from the ocean as the swamp flows into the ocean. That book is one in the series: Most Wanted and it is called: Here Comes The Shaggedy! 52:24: That is some species of guitar-fish if i`m not mistaken Tom! Very impressive creatures! 55:30: You got some pretty good footage of the sharks Tom! I wonder what species the one that`s resting on the sand is... anyone know? Looks too dark and too large to be a nurse shark. Nurse sharks are almost like an orange colour, smaller as well. 56:00: The shark with the stripes and spots with a long tail, i believe it`s a zebra shark. If i am correct, you`ve seen it multiple times at aquariums and i think 1 Zoo. 56:38: That is one big grouper!! I wonder what species, Goliath Groupers are more of a red colour i think... 1:00:20: I quite liked your message in this part of the video Tom, important to eat healthy. I myself am not overly unhealthy, i don`t drink a ton of soda, don`t eat a ridiculous amount of junk food either. I`m happy you`re trying to eat healthier in order to live longer, Tom! I want you around for years to come Tom! Eventually your time will come but i hope that`s 30-45 years away or so, more if we`re lucky. I say we`re because we are family, a team, me, you and the rest of your subscribers, we all got your back Tom! 1:08:35: This is my favourite of the 4 pictures Tom! It sucks that we weren`t able to see the dolphin swim/interaction/training session/demonstration ( that`s a lot of / i know lol ) so i was very glad when you showed us the photos! Very cool and now you have a souvenir! As well as the snorkel ( 42:28 ), since for obvious reasons, you don`t return that. I wonder if you got to keep it even before COVID... Cool, nonetheless! 1:13:00: I do believe that this is a banana tree Tom, yes! But i`m an animal guy, not a plant guy so don`t depend on me for that in any way shape or form. Absolutely awesome video as i said above Tom! I`m looking forward to your reply Tom! Have a good one man! Going to start your Animal Kingdom video over the next few days, then Tampa Zoo part 1. With any luck, i`ll be caught up by Thursday before the next video comes up but you know me, i love to read all of the signage Tom! I`m curious, do you ever read the signage on your trips man? I look forward to your reply Tom!
@Noah Roy Discovery Cove is most definitely a tier up from a water park. It' also has a much higher entrance fee. There are multiple other traditional water parks in the area if Discovery Cove ends up being too expensive. As you saw from my tour I had a phenomenal time. Every part of the experience was wonderful, including the food. Of course the Dolphins we're the best part. The snorkeling was fun once I got my mask tight enough so it didn't leak too much. Main down side to facial hair 😕 It was like swimming in an aquarium with all the different fish and rays. I'm pretty sure the one shark is a nurse. Besides Bamboo sharks Nurse sharks are docile enough to be near people. Not sure people would be willing to pay to swim with a Bull shark. When is your family trip to Florida Noah? I hope things are going well for you with school and work.
@@TomsRoadTrippin That`s good that there are other water parks nearby! Lots of choices, that`s how i see it! It looked like swimming with all of the different fish and other aquatic life was an absolute blast! Yeah, Nurse Sharks are among the most docile sharks Tom. As for our trip to Florida, we`re planning for Winter 2024, escape the harsh Canadian winter. We`re STILL GETTING SNOW, ENOUGH ALREADY!! School and work are going well! I`ve just switched departments at work, my old department wasn`t really for me. I`ve switched from Customer Experience Salesfloor Associate to Store Standards Associate ( bringing in carts from outside, do carry-outs for large items with a carry-out cart ). But last night, sometime before my shift, somene ( i have a pretty darn good hunch who did it ) took home the remote for one of the cart machines. Because you can drive from the back, but obviously once you have carts, you need to guide from the front, having a remote control in one hand to make it go. Good thing that we have 2 cart machines, otherwise i would`ve had to do it by hand last night. Thanks for asking Tom!
Shin guards and water shoes needed? I am not a water person but do admit place looks fun. The fish are thinking. Look at these stupid humans pretending to be fish. 😆 😆
Water shoes can be worn except when doing the dolphin swim or in the Grand Reef. Shin guards aren't necessary. We must look odd to the animals fir sure 😅

Thank you. This was a great video. I will visit this park. I was trying to determine which parks to see and your videos have helped.
I highly recommend a visit, I had a fantastic time. 😁
This is incredibly informative! Thank you so much!! Beautiful place!
Glad to hear you enjoyed my tour. I try my best to show every aspect of the places zi visit. Thank You for watching and for your comment.
Really enjoyed the way you documented everything. Answered many of my questions just by watching 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I try to be as thorough as possible with my tours. Glad to hear my tour was helpful.
Was there 2 months ago it’s amazing worth every penny
Absolutely worth the cost, I wouldn't ming going back again sometime. Perhaps do the shark swim 😮
@@TomsRoadTrippin I’m booking another trip this week🤦♂️they have great deals right now
@@JaySmith-xs4ki that's great, hopefully they'll have the aviary opened.
@@TomsRoadTrippin aviary?
@@JaySmith-xs4ki The aviary houses all the birds. The netting was being replaced during my visit. All the birds we're across the street at Seaworld.
I am going there soon what do the pictures look like from the photo pass

Fab video, how much was the 4 photo pack
It was $99.99 but I got a 30% discount with my Seaworld parks pass.
Hi brilliant video we are due to go in june.. could you tell me if someone who can't swim will still be able to do the dolphin swim ..
The water is shallow enough to come to around your waist. The dolphin will take you and do all the swimming.
Thank you soo much. We have a non Swimmer that's worried

How deep was that water that you appear to be walking in?
The water was different depths, some portions you have to swim.

@Noah Roy Winter in Florida is a great time to visit. Everything is open all year so you'll still have lots of opportunities.
And sorry but are the snorkels provided
Yes, snorkeling equipment is provided. You'll get a wetsuit to wear during your visit.
So does that mean that the experiences are included in the tickets
The base ticket includes everything except the animal encounters. Those are all extra with pricing different for each.
