To be fair though, Vaxei is taking a break, so he can't set many scores right now. WhiteCat of course is insane, but Vaxei imo is a better player for all types of play. WhiteCat isn't consistent enough on streams compared to him.

there is no such thing as "osu speedrunner" rofl, the dude was a top player and got banned for 3 years and continued to play almost daily for those 3 years, no shit when he gets unbanned and he starts from 0 pp he is gonna climb insanly fast, and whitecat is an aim player, dt 1-2's, he is a huge farmer and has been spamming (retrying) overweighted maps over a thousand times on private servers, so when he got unbanned he was ready to farm hard, he is obv an insane player but the pp system is garbage and doesn't say anything about "skill", and u can't ever use the word speedrunner in osu since u'll have to get banned to even attempt a "speedrun", if a 4 digit gets banned he'll get 4 digit back in a day if he wanted to, if a top 10 gets banned he can get top 10 back in a day if he wanted to
@@jordyvandenkieboom6571 think of it as retrying speedruns. He's done it before, so it will likely be quicker since there was a huge gap where he practiced without doing runs.

Just to clarify, for the natsukoi hanabi liveplay, he did not press alt+tab, rather, he pressed esc and then insert to exit the game.
It's probably some bug similar to the alt tab bug, but there has been no evidence showing this bug yet.

Idk why people are hating him , he's been through so much witchunting and accusation for almost 2 years trying to prove hes legit , liveplay ,stream etc. But back then it wasnt set in bancho so he is definitely hacking says the community , and now hes unbanned , almost livestreaming every single of his legendary plays , and yet people stil call him hacking , sure.

It's really nice to see documentaries like this about restricted legit players, WhiteCat's climb to #2 (and then #1) will never be forgotten. I never heard about him except for his 2017 Monster HDDT liveplay I saw the last year (not knowing that was that whitecat blasting everything now) and it's really glad to see all the three years way he had to take to get unbanned with the best end for him and the osu! community. Great video!

his talent went unnoticed because of people accusing him nevertheless i'm glad he got unbanned to be able to climb the ranks to number 1
What he did is what I call true dedication. He played a lot, got better and got banned but still he kept playing and enjoyed the game. He put all his effort into proving himself legit and trying to get unbanned because that's what he really wanted, he wanted to be a REAL part in the community of the game he loved, he knew he deserved to be part of it and people close to him as well. He kept trying for years to get unbanned and wanted to get unbanned so badly that he even resorted to lying about hacking. Most ordinairy players would have given up after probably less than a year and especially players who actually was hacking since they most likely don't enjoy the game that much. But he held on and it paid off in the end. This is a perfect example that dedication unless it's with harmful intensions is never a bad thing. If you try hard enough and for long enough you will probably succeed. Yes technically it was skill who got him unbanned but in reality he was just the final piece. He was only able to prove that the ban was unjust and the staff was unfair to WhiteCat because of WhiteCat's dedication before. He definitely deserved to get unbanned.

As much as I love osu, its been a big part of my life for the last 5 years almost, its a shame the Dev and owner of osu is a complete and utter child. He posts so much stupid shit on twitter and throws constant tantrums, if I didnt love the game as much as I did id have left in a heartbeat after seeing the way peppy "Deals" with his customer Base (the people that actually keep him afloat financially and the people who literally MADE him).

I think he is still cheating tbh, the auto mod after scores confuses me too much.
The explanation for that is when he searches song names then tries to delete it, he instinctively types in ctrl + A to select all, but that hotkey turns on automod as well
