    There seems to be conflicting information concerning the Kenya Airways incident. According to the media in Kenya it is the Nigerian passenger who was at fault and severe action was taken against the passenger for disrespecting the airlines officials. The incident happened in Kenya therefore NAAC had no jurisdiction

      @@nzappazapp8360 the trip originated in Nigeria so they have some level of jurisdiction cos the airline did not carry out mandatory checks that is required as per NCAA at the point of departure if they had then NCAA can not say or do much.

    There was no apology made, Kenya Airways defended their staff for handling the issue very well. Please do your research before going live.

      @tanbai8424 The unruly passenger was booked back to Lagos, where she came from and never proceeded to the UK. At no point did KQ apologize directly to the passenger due to her lack of manners.

      But did kenya airways staff not see that she did not have the right passport before they allowed her to board from Nigeria, they booked thier ticket like that and made it her fault, they are very incompetent, they need to apologize to her. And the staff is very rude to send stupid message to president Tinumbu. . My opinion l will never travel via Kenya airline ever.

      @tbeck8838 " For context:
      The guest was traveling from Lagos to Nairobi, Paris, and Manchester. On arrival in Nairobi for her connecting flight (Nairobi-Paris), it was discovered that she did not have a SCHENGEN Visa, which is a requirement for her to enter any European Union Country.
      She was offered an alternative to travel through London and onward to Manchester, which she refused." KQ statement. If her visa upto nairobi was ok, then she couldn't be denied to arrive in Nairobi. It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to ensure that their documents are in order.

    Let me educate Nigerians about Kenya. No minister or governor or president will intervene in a civil servants duty. The civil servant is the boss. His/Her word is law. Plus there are CCTV cameras all over to keep them in check

    The woman threw used sanitary pads at an airline staff. That is criminal and Kenya Airways should not apologise. The woman should be banned from ever flying Kenya Airways.

      You don't know what you're saying, The airline attendants ask her for proof if she's on her monthly stuff, imagine how annoying it could be,so the lady throw the pads on them,which anyone could do at of annoyance.

      Stop it. No one would throw used sanitary pad at any airline staff. Stop being daft!

    Funny how this station doesn't have time to mention what the Nigerian passenger did, tell the whole story if you must report on it, if not, please don't report on it, we have twitter

      While it's important to report the truth, the situation with KA and her staff appears to be more complex than initially presented. Detailed reports suggest they attempted to manipulate the narrative, potentially to obscure their own failings. The extended layovers of 17 hours and 10 hours, neither of which were Passenger's fault, occurred on a return trip along the same route as the initial journey. However, although these circumstances provide context, they do not excuse any condescending behavior towards one another.

    This has nothing to do with nationality! The rep definitely let Kenya airlines down. She should have stepped aside and asked a senior colleague to deal with the situation. I know the guest behaviour was despicable and she should have been arrested by authorities for assault. Nonetheless the staff should not have sunk so low by arguing back and forth with a paying passenger.
