Luckily Michael’s was selling a whole bunch without numbers!❤ love it! Enjoying your videos. Thanks for all the great advice and knowledge. Appreciate your help and sharing tips with us. I’m just starting! 😂
You're a genius!! I'm in the midst of a painting of koi fish, and the oranges and reds... those are always the worst! I'm on the fourth or fifth coat on the numerals. Gah! Wish I'd known this trick. I use several coats of clear gesso on my canvases, but I will definitely be using this technique to *lighten* the numbers before gessoing. I always test my colours for opacity before starting, so I might totally erase the numbers for really transparent colours and add a small brush of colour - then gesso. Thanks so much for this!
Thanks. I was wondering about the little nub you use. You called it something but I couldn't make out what you were saying. Where would I find it? (I have zero experience with this. I got it as a gift. @@creativecraftswithginny
This is great! Will be trying on my next paint by numbers project!

Since I go over the canvas with clear gesso before starting the painting, I don't think this would work. But for those that don't, great product.
I did test it out on gesso canvas, and it works; give it a try.
Brilliant!
Revolutionary way to make your paint by numbers beautiful
Thanks for the tip, off to supermarket in the morning.
Hello. What happened to the end of the video? What kind of brush do you dip the solution in?
If it is remove the numbers, it is half water and half rubbing alcohol.

@oskie501 you can use disposable lipliner brushes, q-tips work but are messy. Use a wet wipe to clean up the leftover ink.
1 to 1 ratio of alcohol to water.
Thank you for this great idea, I’m going to try it today. What type of brushes are you using to apply the mixture?
I use lip liner brushes; the tips are strong.
Thanks for the reply. I wouldn’t have thought to try that. Really enjoy your videos very helpful.
I just use Johiux White Gel Pens 0.8mm and draw over the number
I always geso my pbn but in the end I always see little whites from the canvas showing through. Is there any ideas of how I can fix this.
If you use a lot of dark colors blacks browns blues use a sharpie and dot them out. Or use a thicker bodied paint. Or a combo.

Thanks but very long winded.
