I can’t believe someone told you to use this hokey mix … you never use peat-moss … just use a good planter mix … cactus or palm mix is great. But expensive… you can use Pearlite but it wants to float to the top of your mix … why size#4 … just use size#2 … if you can find pumice always opt for using it instead of #2 Pearlite … charcoal… yeah but it’s not needed … sand … never use sand it will eventually fill in all of the nooks and cranny’s and prevent water drainage … not good … the aged chick you can get at Lowe’s is a good addition to your potting mix … never use fresh chicken poop … How many DF plants (tubs) do you have ? If the varieties you’ve chosen aren’t self pollinating you’ll never get fruit … go on TH-cam and watch some of Kim Phan Dragon Fruit videos on how to collect and store pollen … glad to see some interest… but damn your going down the wrong learning curve road.
Biggest Difference between perlite & pumice is pumice is permanent, perlite will break down n compact to dust 😉
Ah good advice! You know of any good (and cheap) pumice supplies on the west coast (if that's where you're near?) I couldn't find any :/
@@DragonFruitDude I m on east coast. Start with rock quarries & I actually bought my last bag from Amazon 😉

Kim uses Fox Farms and just names your onion flavored seedlings so she can sell them for $100 a cutting… Talk about the wrong path.
