Hi Is the "inner" nut somehow placed and fixed, because i cant reach it at all in order to allow a counter to the outside one? There is no room for wrench to get around it and keep it in place. Im affraid i wont be able to put it back if i cant control its movement.... Thanx a lot
Hi, I have a Honda hornet 06 and I tried removing the bolt, there is also one on the other side. I was only using a key, which might not have as much power as a wrench and socket like you have but I managed to break off a piece of the key :D I was twisting counter clockwise as with most threads. Maybe the other side needs to be held in place too or it'll just tighten right? I am doing something wrong? It sure as hell isn't rocket science but the fact that I broke my 14mm key was a bit shocking. Thanks, I was choosing between the ER and the Hornet so nice choice of bike! :)
Yes we worked on a 2007 Hornet and stapped the bolt and had to drill it out. Best to use WD40 then go on a good run and get the engine nice and hot and then try to remove the bolt, better still find a garage with a windy gun. hope this helps.

C'est dommage que vous ne les testé pas en vidéo
does the bike needed to be held up or engine put on something to hold it up?
No, just had this one in front wheel bike grab to hold it upright but can be fitted just using the side stand.
what is the material of the heads? Looks plasticky from up here.
S/Steel bolts, Alloy brackets and Plastic sliders.
Thing is when you drop it the engine mounts will shatter
Olá !
