I have had an R11 for years, but luckily got an E11 for only $600 for a reserve clarinet. The E11 sounds just as good, but can't go quite as loud with the same effort. But is better in tune on the low C to F, where R13s can be flat. I don't see why anyone would hate the E11. Pay four thou for an R13 and you might still hate it.
I HATE my E11 I'm a junior in high school and I don't have enough money for an R13 so I kind of have to live with it, but I'm going to college for music so it's going to need to get one soon. 😕
