Chase Chrisley, the Chrisley Knows Best star, 26, proposed to Emmy Medders, his girlfriend of nearly three years, on Oct. 5 at First Horizon Baseball Stadium in Tennessee.
"It was the perfect night," Chrisley tells PEOPLE. "There's no doubt I want to spend the rest of my life with Emmy. We can't wait to build a family together."

I LOVE the way Chase, in the last podcast, held Emmy up and praised her for softening him and teaching him kindness. For a man to be vulnerable and uphold her and give her thanks is a rare commodity. His love for her is obviously deep and it shows, as is hers for him. They will be a beautiful family and are so blessed to have found one another.

I freaking love emmy. She seems to be the sweetest most genuine girl…and not in a bad way but they say boys marry a girl like their mothers and I see Julie’s ride or die loving qualities in emmy. And it’s a 100% normal for sister and sister in laws to have some growing pains.

Take 1 day at a time, and breathe! It will work all out. We all believe Savannah & the other Chrisley family members will handle these tough times well and persevere !! ❤
Savannah, the best part of this whole podcast was you listening & realizing how you need to show up for other ppl & to really start SHOWING appreciation for Emmy. Emmy is such a breath of fresh air. Lots of family trauma that was clearly hidden behind cameras. Poor Savanna, I pray she holds close to Jesus and God give her strength throughout whole ordeal.

Most of Mom's friends and family have distanced from us during these years but God has got me through these hard years and he will teach you so much through this time. I see that God is closest in our suffering. He has drawn me so close to HIM through these tough times and will do the same for you. He knows how to humble us and draw us to HIM. His anxiety level is off the charts and he's keeping it all in, to be brave for everyone. Covering all of you in prayer. Todd divorced plus he literally had no relationship with his 2 oldest kids, TOOK his granddaughter and Todd had his granddaughter calling him dad on national television. These people are frauds. What an uplifting podcast today. I know first hand the struggle of being a caregiver to BOTH my parents. In home hospice for my Dad with Bladder cancer and ten years later my Mom with Alzheimer's . Being caregiver 24/7 I honestly didn't get more than an hour of sleep if that..but it didn't matter to me my parents dedicated their life to me at every turn wrong or right. I was blessed to be beside my Dad and my Mom when they took their last breaths as a child it was the most beautiful times of my life ..that will only make sense to those of like kind.. they were there holding me when I took my first breath and I was there holding them when they took their last. Full circle moments in life nobody can relate to until it happens. God moments will sustain you.
I actually loved the short hair cut ❤ I keep mine short like that all the time. It’s easy, fun and so many different things can be done with it. Prayer’s for y’all #TeamChrisley

Praying for you all, my sister and brother in law were sentenced for similiar charges to your parents. He just went to prison in December and my sister goes Jan 3. It is so hard like you said, mourning the loss but they are still alive. I talk to my sister 20 times a day and now I am not going to get to. It is going to be so hard but you will get through. I am just relying on prayer right now that is all we can do!

Great interview Savannah. Both of you are class acts.Take it from me from someone who lost both her parents in recent years out of nowhere. It's so incredibly hard to never hear their voice again so embrace every second of that. I would give ANYTHING to hear my mom and dad's voice again to just feel their touch. They were my only support system and now I have to figure this world out on my own and spend holidays mostly alone. I haven't celebrated a holiday since 2018 and it was big with my parents. Just know that you're not alone in grief whether your parents are alive or not. My mom was my everything and I lived with her till the day god took her home and I seriously didn't think I could breathe without my mom. She was my EVERYTHING! I have to work to support myself which means every time I turn on my camera to record my TH-cam videos, I have to function and smile and some days it's harder than heck but we have to go on living. It's just learning how to live without the norm and that's the hardest part. If you ever want to reach out you can find me on my channel or IG, Kristi Allure. I'm a beauty TH-camr but I'm starting a series in January in GRWM videos on how to feel less alone in a world where you're all alone. I have a lot of my Glamfam that have lost their loved ones and reached out after I made my video when I lost my mom and it's been so helpful. ❤

Hearing Emmy talk about her dad breaks my heart. It’s so heartbreaking watching someone go through that knowing that you know what their personality is normally like. Being there for him, patience and him knowing that you love him is all he needs right now and on those really bad days.

Hi, I have to say you remind me of my daughter. We've gone through it in our life (tuff stuff) We were both young and delt with tramas and learning about it and ourselves. I watched my daughter allow herself to feel and express each stage of the process. Myself as well.
I am very impressed and admire your willingness and honesty Savanna. I hear in every sentence accountability for your feelings, good bad or indifferent. You are a loving strong young woman . Sometimes pushing to be perfect is easier, because we forget how hard it is to be human! It's ok to be and acknowledge what you've been through. You don't have to minimize it by saying it could be worse. No it is bad that is why your in pain. Sure be grateful but pain is pain. Hurt is hurt. I'm am very proud of your courage.
Great show Savannah, when my brother who is close to my age got serious with his now wife-it was so hard. I felt like my brother no longer had time for me or his wife (who was my friend first).
I liked her fine, but changes are hard. She is the best wife for him. Things shift though.
