Sweet... I am literally driving my 2008 Sprinter till the wheels physically fall off though.. Sometimes you just hit a home run and get a beauty.... I got one...
Called them on a van coming in. The salesman gave me the price list with a $10,000.00 markup no real negotiating. Total BS! We don’t need a van, we want a van. Lots of other dealers who don’t mark the MSRP up! F Wally World MBZ. 😂 Do your homework!
I had bought a four-wheel drive Cargo Sprinter from 2018 in Germany - 4.4 tons, 6 cylinders at 3 liters, 190 hp, 7 meters long, super high roof, and single seat - the perfect rough road vehicle... But I wanted more! It took a lot of time, many special approvals, and a pretty high investment, but now I have a real off roader, which is (almost) on the same technical level as the 2023 model. Meanwhile it has also been converted into a camper van (in which I live full-time) and already had the Sahara, Iceland, and the polar regions of Scandinavia (in winter) under the wheels. Was it worth it expediently - Yes. Was it financially worthwhile - no, because for the money I could have gotten a Unimog. Would I buy the 2023 model - no, because even that is only a rough road vehicle and would also need some conversions to make it an off roader. But if an almost perfect rough road vehicle is enough, the four-wheel drive Sprinter from 2023 is the best choice.
Great presentation Gordon. This comment is pointed at Mercedes. Where is the logic in using a 2.0 liter motor to move 10,000lbs of van when loaded? 5,000 lbs per liter! This displacement is meant for an entry level mid sized passenger car in America. This isn't Europe Mercedes. Not like you don't already offer more capable power-trains in your passenger cars and SUVs here. $60k entry point and the most powerful option is an anemic, over stressed 2L bi turbo?
That was a very good explanation, thank you. Not to mention, the 4 cylinder 9 speed automatic combo is lighter than the 3L V6 with 7G. The 9 speed transmission has a reduction in first gear and more overdrive in 8th and 9th gear than the pre 2022 V6 Sprinter´s. Greetings, Matt , Frankfurt a.M. Germany.
matt, how can one replace the standard headlights with the oem led lights? I have a 2019 144 4x4, and a 2021 170 4x4 with neither having led lights from factory. Please help!!!
@@matopetrusic7838 ... I have no answer to this. The dealer maybe can help.I have my standard headlights set higher, can adjust them well to the needs via the manual adjustment. Una pregunta Miguel no crees q es muy pequeno el motor. Yo tengo una diesel V6 turbo y creeme se forza mucho. Yo hago plomeria y electricidad. Creo q por si necesita un motor mas potente y salen con uno 4 cilindros.
US More stringent Emission controls put Mercedes in tough position, This is why Mecedes did away with the Real 4X4 6 cyl Diesel Van. Europe Still Sells the 6 Cyl Variant Beast in my opinion This 4WD Version has limited off road capabilities and slapping 2 turbochargers and a higher revving 4 cyl Engine means more mechanical components that could fail. Its more efficient at the cost of a less reliable 9 speed gearbox.
That 4 cylinder diesel engine only has a displacement of only 2.0L . That dinky engine has to work a lot harder for such a large/heavy vehicle.... I wouldn't buy one...
Took delivery of one of the first 3500xd 23s in the US last month. They are still being sold. Economy is definitely slowing a big IMO though. From my understanding my23 is sold out and they are now taking orders for my24. Those of us fortunate enough to get early 23s do NOT have the standard rear view mirror camera though. That was kind of a bummer.
Have anyone price the new Ford expedition and Chevy Tahoe Toyota Land Cruiser from the Dealership? This Van is probably better option if you want roomy cargo.

I had the same experience.
What is a reasonable markup? Does a dealer lose $$ by selling at MRSP?
@@svongsa absolutely not.
I just bought my second one with no markup!

Can i get it without the tracking
I heard mercedes arent taking orders anymore for sprinters? and its a year wait
From what I have heard. All the 2023 build slots were taken up back at the end of January. So any builds put in now will get 2024 slots.
i want a 3500xd 170 ext but you dont take custom build 😢
I want to know about engine reliability? I'll be in the market next year.. wish they'd stuck with a 4x4 option!
How does a cargo van have windows? Which option is it for the Mercedes Van build?
you can get the full window package option on cargos
Do you guys charge dealer markup?
Not if you custom order. Almost all dealer will charge markup on these AWD vans if they are sitting on the lot

The newer AWD model is much better when you take into account the MPG’s. I think it’s a better power train than the previous gens
Cuando llegan las electric vans?
Ya salieron,fíjate el update de ayer, muy buen informe, solo que esta todo en inglés

Shittalker V6 was clearly the better engine. Big cars need big reliable engines.

The 4x4 can only push 35% power to the front wheels and it didn’t have a locker so it’s fairly limited too.
