A Seraph spin off would be awesome. Going back to the first version of the matrix until he is tasked by the Oracle to wait for Neo. When the door opens and Neo enters cut to black
Path of Neo was supposed to be a Seraph game.when’s has it there are notes out there on the inter webs with story details and such. It makes sense, since the game contains levels of all historical settings.

Maybe you just figured out the HOW of Matrix 4. When Neo dies and returns The Source, perhaps his code is reinserted into a different server. Neo encounters a living Trinity and comes to the realization that there's a whole lot more going on behind the scenes than Morpheus knew.
Maybe the "real world" is just another simulation as well and thats why Neo can see smith even without his eyes

Saraph. Short for Saraphim; an angel.
Seraph is biblical. Hebrew, I believe. Seraph are the highest order of angel. Seraph is singular, whilst Seraphim, is plural.

Fun fact, lucifer aka 'the satan' aka 'morning star' aka the 'light bearer' was also in the seraphim devision of archangels according to biblical scholars

The movie reference to Seraph having wings is in Revolution (when Morpheus and Trinity was retrieving Neo) when the guy saw Seraph and called him Wingless.

The Meriovingian also refers to him as "l'ange sans ailes" or "the angel without wings"
I would like to see Morpheus return. His character was based on a false faith and to see him unhinged and free of believing it entirely and seeing a new dynamic to him would be awesome.

What makes you think Morpheus’ faith was proven false to him? Remember, Neo did end the war and fulfill the prophecy.
@@rogerdodger4212 the faith was a lie. Neo as the one was never meant to do anything special. The prophecy of the one was a lie. The thing that made it different this time around was Smith. Neo didn't fight the machines to the end he fought Smith a brought peace. That was not the prophecy. So to see Morpheus unhinged from a belief system would be amazing.
@@supercereal3582 The prophecy was a lie but Neo was the one and brought peace. The lie was how. Smith was not necessarily the difference given that the choice Neo made to save Trinity instead of Zion was made before Smith really took over. Besides, your point was to see Morpheus unhinged because his faith in Neo was proven wrong yet Neo did what was prophesied so Morpheus would more likely feel justified in his faith.
Love you're theories. One thing that we see when the Architect has a conversation with Neo is the fact that the Matrix we know is one point in ONE STAR zooming out in a cosmic universe in the Architects screen. So maybe there are infinite Matrixes all of them tied up to the one Matrix?
I think the character of Seraph(im) tells us a lot more about The Matrix, and particularly Deus Ex Machina, than we realise;
Me theory is this; Deus Ex Machina is not the original hive-mind of the machines, but a usurper and a tyrant. He plays the role of Lucifer, but in this world successfully deposing the original machine overlord, (the machine God) from his throne by the use of Agent Smith. However Smith, realising he was powerful enough to unseat the machine God, is also powerful enough to unseat Deus Ex Machina, and begins working against him.
Seraph, like the Seraphim of the Abrahamic faiths, is also an archangel, and original creation of the machine God, like Deus Ex Machina, the Lucifer counterpart. This is why Smith cannot defeat him, and also why The Matrix cannot remove him. It also explains why he can choose to exile himself from The Matrix. He has the same powers and abilities as his fellow Luciferian archangel, Deus Ex Machina, and so cannot be ruled by his tyranny.
It's long been a theory of mine that the machine world is not as single-minded as depicted; That much like in The Book of Revelation, Deus Ex Machina, the Lucifer faction, has wrested power from the machine God, and what follows is Armageddon, the Battle to End All Battles, in which the machine God, his loyal archangels, and the Messiah (Neo) regain control of the Earth from Lucifer and return it to its rightful ruler, the original machine God.

Uhhh...Morpheus didn’t say he wasn’t stronger or faster simply that they had nothing to do with his muscles.

@@biffenheimer Well it would seem that fully accepting the Matrix is not real therefore no rules apply along with creativity would be the most logical explanation.
I would like to see Seraph back, cause it always seemed to me a very mysterious character.
I simply thought it meant that he was able to escape Smith after being in another seemingly inescapable situation. Not that he ever defeated him.
If that were the case then he would have said "I've *escaped* you before". Word choice is important when framing a sentence and the examining the choice of "beaten" as opposed to "escaped" is how we can determine the meaning of framing of Seraph's dialogue with Smith. It's also important to understand the purpose of Smith's response and the appearance of another Smith in the scene. It implies that Smith is saying "you beat me *one-on-one* but now there are two/ more of me. Furthermore, Seraph holds his own with Neo during their encounter, which the video already makes a case with, as evidence that Seraph is more skilled than even an agent - upgraded agents as well, at that.

Would love an animated series that fills in the gaps between Revolutions and Resurrections
Seraph is just an obsolete program from a much earlier version of the Matrix. Like others, he did not return to the source when he became obsolete, so he became an exile. The agents entire role is to hunt and remove exiles from the matrix. Like the Merovingian, who keeps obsolete programs from the past and present, The Oracle keeps Seraph as a protector. He is from the Nightmare Matrix I expect, and he is likely part of the reason that humans have myths about angels. Just as some of the Frenchman's henchmen are only killed with silver bullets (aka werewolves in human stories). Or the twins, likely where humans get ghost stories from.
I find it humorous that these videos never remotely attempt to answer the question in the title, they just carry onward.
i would love for Seraph to return in part 4. the resistance is gonna need another skillful fighter that can match the agents.

I think it's quite likely that there are multiple versions of the matrix running at the same time just like there are multiple programs working in the background of any computer. Also, we're finding that there are multiple dimensions occurring simultaneously in space and time along with a multiverse as opposed to just a universe. The great thing about the Matrix movies and the Wachowskis is that they won't tell us any of this as they would rather that we each come up with our own interpretations. This has become a forgotten art for all but a few.

I think Seraph was one of the first versions of “The One”. Now that we saw Matrix 4. Neo eventually got his powers back, the same could be said for Seraph.

I would like to see the return of the whole Nebuchadnezzar team in matrix 4. In particular, I want to see Cypher’s return and see if he will be a traitor in the new version of the matrix.
I don't think that's how a matrix reset works. What I got from the architect scene was that the whole matrix was revamped and re-coded. The Nebuchadnezzar might not even be a ship's name at all in the new matrix.
I thought seraph was "the one" from a previous matrix version, not an agent. Why would Smith need to chase him otherwise? Agents don't seem to bother with rogue programs. He specifically said he fought Neo to see if he is the latest matrix version of an anomaly.

1:42 Look at Smith's ear. He's had earrings in his past. I know that's because Hugo had them, but still, usually movies cover up earring scars for characters who aren't meant to have had them. In MY head, this indicates Smith has ALWAYS deviated from the program, even altering his own image at a time when Agents were thought incapable of emotion.
I think the Trainman needs to come back, we need more about him...also they should update and rerelease Matrix Online in some way before the next movie comes out.

Kid. Kid should come back to have an explanation about how he could auto sustain himself after comitting suicide. I find that one of the bigest misteries that the Animatrix and Matrix has to offer. After all, Neo told him that he saved himself, but he thougth that Neo saved him. The power of belife? Faith? What? Or did you already answer this question before and I just don't know?
Cyberpunk played on the “construct” concept with the use of BBS, portals that are hidden and private that provides access to the greater network.
As a result, it is entirely possible that other instances of the Matrix do exist, that individuals can be transferred from one portal to another. IT professionals test drive implementation of system changes frequently on environments that are structured the same, but will not impair function of the primary network if a problem arises. The machines are not exactly ethical in their simulation process as ends justify means. The prospect of losing a “few” planted persons is preferable to the loss of the main scenario. I would suspect this is also employed to alpha, beta, and stress tests for what is to become the renewed version after the simulation resets. There could conceivably be dozens of such tests being undertaken to avoid the disastrous failures of the Paradise rendition by where “entire crops were lost”.
Seraph in M-4 with details about his history as an older version in the Matrix and 'why /how' did he lose his wings. So much of the plot is based on 'angels&demons' - so Is Seraph a Good 'fallen guardian angel'/ in essence a Nephlim?
I always felt like the versus match between Neo & Seraph was more of a sparring bout. It just felt like they were feeling their way around the fight and then when seraph saw Neo could free his mind at will he was like "ok kid, you pass" lol
This is true but the old theory is that Seraph functions like a password feature in a computer. One of the supporting points of that theory is to quote Seraph with "you do not truly know someone until you right them" (the purpose of a password or lock screen is to confirm you are who you are supposed to be before you're given to access *your* sensitive data). In that sense, we can say that Seraph was also holding back. His intention and function is never to really go at it with people who want to see the Oracle but rather to confirm they are who they appear to be before he gives them access to the Oracle who has sensitive information for them.

Just recently found this channel & newly subbed. Got to give it to you guys, your stuff is really in depth & makes for some serious contemplation. The "character" I'd like to see return in the matrix 4 is de ja vous, (the black cat that shows something has changed w/in the matrix). Reason: let's face it, the interwebs ADORES cats, (oh & it could also be argued that he's a program icon, as his appearance anywhere could be related to a "save changes" subroutine).
5:23 this is why I'm hoping TMO isn't canon. His death was such a disservice to the character. Rewatch the original Matrix and whenever you see Morpheus...just imagine that this 5:35 is how the great Morpheus eventually dies....

This is who. Seraph that is the one person id like to see comeback and see his version of the matrix as well as his past up till he meet neo and left to help morpheus and trinity. Also another reason why is because he was a little mysterious and more like the one. What if he was a previous anomaly that had bevome the one and that had their memories wiped and given another body in the matrix
Everything presented so far should remain Canon. Older versions of the Matrix should be on older servers even if in a limited form. Excellent video.

I'd love to see them explain what happens when the humans die. Since Neo returns I'm wondering if it's reincarnation, heaven, Valhalla, or create their afterlife and are wiped clean and sent back into the earth/matrix. You can't kill the human soul. It would be a cool video or concept.

if Seraph beat down Agent in previous version, why did they bring Agents back to another version with upgrade? Didnt they see how Agent Smith got out of control. Neo beats down Agent Smith in The Matrix and changes / removes his code, who brings him back again? Smith cant come by itself without Architect not knowing

I really loved "MxO" The Matrix Online when it was owned by WB. The writers were amazing. Then SOE took over and destroyed the game, which I left shortly after. Do you think there will be a new Matrix game coming or a Matrix MMO? I would so love that to happen.

So basically multiple servers of the matrix, would mean a Matrix "multiverse". Maybe this could be a plot element for Matrix 4.

neos not returning anywhere, i believe hes dead from the wsy 3 ended. seraph was probably fixed after smith was deleted by the machines as sahti was "out" of it but still connected to the current version, and the architect/oracle were essential parts to the system running, those 3 would remain.
