I miss the funny videos and stuff, but the negatives of TikTok definitely outweighed the positives for me. I’m sorry you’re struggling with it too, it’s so consuming and tricky. But know you never need to compare yourself to anyone, even though it feels almost impossible not to, because you are so unique and beautiful, inside and out. Your personality and your beauty shines through on your TH-cam, it might feel so difficult to see, but you are completely whole and valid just as you are ❤️❤️
I relate so much to this talk, I always though about why phots of me turned out horrible and I used to flip them a lot. And it’s funny because thanks to your channel I found more confidence in myself, because we’re actually very similar (I basically have the same nose). I loved this video! I deleted every social I have except TH-cam/Pinterest and let me tell you it literally changed my life. It stopped the aimless scrolling, stopped the comparisons, and allowed me to go out and enjoy my time without feeling obligated to get a picture for instagram or snapchat. It even decreased some anxiety in me because I wasn't constantly thinking about what other people thought of me. It helps you live in the moment more and when you take that detox and step back you actually realize how much its frying everybody's brains and their obligation to not enjoy themselves because they need to update their socials on every move they make. It's very sad but I truly recommend it for everyone. It's very hard at first but you'll never want to go back after!! Trust

Honestly Carys I never had tik tok and I can’t imagine having it from all the experience I hear my loved ones have because it really is so damaging to our brains it’s crazy. But I also stopped posting on my instagram and archived all my personal pictures and try to only spend 5 minutes or so on there now and it has helped me so incredibly much. I don’t feel pressure to take a picture when I look nice or post the pictures I do take. I would really recommend taking at least a serious break from social media ( not TH-cam ofc! ❤️) and being strict on yourself and seeing how you feel because for me it’s a life changer honestly.
