- Finally, the game room is complete. I’m sorry I’m a little behind sharing with you guys the finishing touches of our game room. It has been so crazy busy around our house with work starting up and traveling that I got really behind blogging the different steps that it took to transform our garage into a game room.
It turned out, absolutely amazing. I’m super excited to have done this project. It really did open up the house quite a bit and it lets so much light in on that side because there were no windows. My kids not only playing there, but they also like to just veg, sit around and do their homework in the quiet. I also like to go in there and shut the doors when my kids are all kind of crazy in the house it’s actually really really nice.
Sometimes I’ll wake up and I just can’t believe that its part of our house. I’m still not used to it but I love it so much. I can’t wait to decorate it for Christmas this year. I now get to add another Christmas tree to my collection of themed Christmas trees I do for each of my rooms.

You should have a game table to be able to sit and play card games, board games and do puzzles. That would be fun.

I don’t know why but I see a lot of the boys in your family have fun with a real dartboard on the wall. Growing up when I was there age we would play with our dartboard nonstop. Love it though!
Beautiful as always. To personalize it some more maybe you could add some frames photos of the kids through the years with your farm animals. Great job!

We took photos of some of our cows and horses and had them printed into poster size 11x14. Black and white. Framed in barnwood with a black inner mat. Turned out beautiful.

Love it! Are you guys putting in a TV to watch games and have movie nights? A few gray XXL good quality bean bags would be awesome in there too! We have one and it holds 3 adults comfortably!

This turned out awesome. I would hate to cover any of those windows with anything other than curtains,. What other choice do you have though with the basketball game? Another thing that would really bring in the homey feeling is to put cornices above the windows. VERY VERY nice.
