Hello everyone, thanks for watching! As an update; After filming I realize that these dolls are in fact Chinese not Japanese, and that is the language that is on the boxes as well as the ID cards for each figure. I originally assumed they were Japanese, which is my mistake for assuming rather than checking beforehand, but that is why in the moment in the video I say that I'm not sure what language it is. Using Google translate, I was able to see that each of the cards tell the character's name as well as a cute little story with details about the character's personality. If you pause the video when I have the card held up to the screen, you can use Google translate on the image to translate to English or another language if you like to read the cards. I just got one! And he’s (without the bow top, looks boy) BEAUTIFUL! Just adorable and SO AFFORDABLE! It’s usually so expensive to get a BJD, especially a fantasy one! I’m going to get them ALL! Thank you! Without your channel I wouldn’t know they existed. ❤❤❤❤ I got the teal one, too.
This was really fun! I enjoyed it. 🥰🖐️👍 I got six of the mermaids and six of the dragon children. Absolutely adorable. Just the standards, no secret "bonus" one, and that's fine. The glossy parts remind me of Chinese cameo glass. PS the one with the orange hair that reminds you of Ariel, before you fixed her eyes, she looked stoned. 😄
I'm glad these tiny dolls are getting people into trying bjds. I don't know how many times I've had friends tell me they're too afraid to touch the big 60cm/70cm ones.
Wow, Kika Goods - I keep wanting to say Kiki!😊 - is doing majorly fab promotional output, by sending dolly loving TH-cam influencers their line of dolls for free!!!! I saw Kika reviewed on another doll-themed channel I’m subscribed to, which could explain why this video popped up in my feed, this happy sunny morning! While Mermaids aren’t my jam, I love your enthusiasm! You should do reviews of the latest Monster Highs that come in enchanted doll dresser cases, if you’re into them….. Myself, I’m strictly vintage. I think the preference for painted eyes vs. inset eyes really does depend on the overall aesthetic of the doll design, but whatever, I like both!!👁️👁️
Ooo I just got sent the tidal secret language mermaids from kika goods which I’ve just reviewed and I love these just as much as those. They are such great little dolls. Thanks for this ❤❤
Really awesome vidro & review!! ❣️ They are soooo cute!!❣️ I wonder if you can use clear rubber bands on the plugs on the braids to keep them from falling out? It's difficult to choose a favorite but I think my favorite is the turquoise one. 🩵 But they are all soooooo cute!!❣️❣️❣️

I do not like the loose elastic or maybe designed looser waist. I don't want my dolls flopping over constantly and that would drive me crazy. Very pretty designs though.
With this style of ball jointed doll, it is pretty easy to tighten the elastics if you would rather have them not be as loose. They just came this way. But I agree with you, they are a little loose from my liking. I haven't tightened them yet, but I plan to.
Are there new Winx dolls coming out? If so I will get some to review. The older ones are so expensive on the 2nd hand market, I don't know if I will get any if they are too expensive. But if new ones are coming out, I will definitively check them out :)

With google translate you can put the camera on top of the text and it will magically let you read it 😊
