Things that only exist in Japanese schools that will shock American schools! To start the day, many students use the same backpack. These backpack are called Randoseru, and look in my opinion pretty cute. These backpack are extremly durable and can fit everything you need. They are given to a child at first year of school until grade 6. When students arrive at school, they need to switch from outdoor to indoor shoes. They even wear this during winter, which can be really cold to wear. It’s important to keep the school clean. Speaking of a clean school, many Japanese schools dont hire janitors. Instead, all Japanese students have cleaning time. They clean the classroom, corridors and the toilets themselves.
