When I worked at the AG Atlanta store, I always loved this set. My daughter has Nanea and I may buy this for her. She’s in college but we both collect. It’s very authentic. Great video
Does anyone else wish AG would sell the set and accessories individually, or you could buy them together? Dragon fruit is pretty good, the inside is white with little black seeds, it kinda taste like watered down kiwi but a little sweeter. I love all the accessories a lot, the rice is so cute! Maybe make a dragon fruit or bag of rice next? Nice video! Have a great day!

Love the set! but i'm still deciding if I will get this set because i don't love the colors and I can totally craft a store for my dolls and its quite pricey and I just don't know but anyways great vid!:)
Spam hasn't been 15 cents a can since WW II....so, Nanea is the replacement for discontinued Molly, the WW II girl. I love Nanea's green eyes and that Mattel chose to locate her in Hawai'i, as the islands in the Pacific were particularly vulnerable to invasion by the Japanese (compared to the Pacific, the Atlantic Ocean is a mere bathtub, a statement that is sometimes attributed to US Naval officers) and Pearl Harbor was--and is--a major US Naval base.
Just an FYI--During the Great Depression of the 1930s, WW II, and into the 1950s, flour came is brightly printed flour sacks. Thrifty housewives (such as my grandmother and my mother) emptied the flour into metal bins they stored in the cellar along with rice and sugar. The sacks were then washed, carefully disassembled and made into underwear/panties for little girls and, depending on the size of the bag, even dresses for babies and blouses/shirts for young children. This continued even into my childhood and my mother said, when she was a young girl, that her mother had once neglected to cut around the FLOUR marking so, when she played at recess with her friends, FLOUR was stenciled across my mother's fanny. It's funny NOW, but my mother (now long deceased) was humiliated at the time. Today, there are still stores that stock flour on the shelves in flour sacks. The prints are sometimes rather pretty and I am tempted to make at least one baby dress from my newest granddaughter just to keep the tradition going. (Yes, in my post WW II childhood, I wore flour sack panties, too, although my daughter, now grown with her own babes, never did!)
