Update on Texas Board of Nursing License | Will You Receive a License Certificate From Texas Board

- Here's the update regarding the issuance of your Texas License / Texas Wall Certificate after passing the NCLEX.
Previously the Board will issue the wall certificate after you passed the NCLEX but with the recent change on their portal, the Board said that they will no longer issue the wall certificate. You may directly see your license through www.nursys.com after some period of time.

Hi IPASS, thank you for assisting me with my NCLEX application and exam. My TEXAS USRN license is up for renewal now after 6months. I just want to ask, in the general info area, I am kind of confused on what to select on my residence. There are 3 choices, A. Compact Texas State. B. Non compact State. C. Other Compact State.
I am still in the Philippines. Should I choose Non Compact state since Im still in the Philippines? Thanks.
Is there a reason that TXBON decided to stop issuing the TX wall certificate?
What they said was that it was just a courtesy that they were issuing previously. It could have been better if they will resume on issuing certs, but that's just a hope on our end =)
Please ma... I want to know about the latest development in texas BON. Do they need Ielts for nclex examination now? Because I know this is not required before. Thanks

How long does it take to receive permanent license after Nclex?
Usually on the same week after passing your NCLEX through Texas Board of Nursing. If you passed the NCLEX and you did not receive your license number yet, kindly communicate with the Board. TX BON will no longer issue a digital copy of the license. Hope this helps.

Is a year of experience required to register for Texas BON?
It depends as to the date the you graduated nursing. May I know when you completed BSN?

Ielts is mandatary or not clear rn test
Depending on the Board of Nursing. For Texas, IELTS is not required during the NCLEX application. Hope that helps :)
Hi Maam! I just passed my NCLEX last Feb 2, 2021. I was expecting to get a license certificate after passing but you said that they don’t send TX wall certificates anymore. Won’t I need it in the future? How about the pass letter? How do I get one? Thank you!
Your employer will understand because the BON has changed their rule. Previously, they were providing, now, no more. Pass letter can be requested from the Board.
Just go to Texas Board of Nursing website then click Nurse Portal and register. Just follow the prompt. After registering, log in to you Nurse Portal and you will see and print all the information about your TX Nurse license. Enroll also to Nursys for any updates and renewal notifications.
@@lezliepage7 I passed my NCLEX last week and validated my results via Quick results. I dont know how to get my license as it is not avialble in nurses portal. Will it take longer to appear ?
