The first use of critical-time software modeling with humans and hardware in the loop that I worked on was in 1971. We had RF, IR, video, analog and digital systems in the loop. Before this an analog computing systems for which the digital systems replaced. It was a great time as the digital systems changed along the line of Moore’s Law. We went from assembly languages to C and C++ world with assembly calls, then purely higher order software. Hardware also changed from huge racks of equipment to analog chips controlled by digital. We also had IR screens for drag and drop capabilities. It was extremely fun to go from fixed-point to floating point fast processors! In the 80’s we developed labs to test every aspect of aircraft components included. It forced me and my teams to learn every aspect of software, analog, controllers, cockpit, etc.
If your plant model (system model) is high fidelity enough, then you can test functional errors, communication errors, missing command errors, performance error etc. Again it is important that your model must be high performing with high fidelity.
Nothing specific for SIL, MIL and HIL. You only need to know simulation like Simulink, LabVIEW etc. But if you are dealing with test automation in HIL then you may need test scripts like python, CAPL etc..
Thank you sanjay for detailed explanation on simulation
Please like, share & subscribe. Keep watching for more knowledge.
Well Explained, Thanks you Sanjay for sharing insightful knowledge.
Thank you
very well explained in easy way
Thank you 🙏
Everything is Well Explained, Thank you, Sanjay, for sharing insightful knowledge.
Thanks
Valuable information thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching, please share with your friends
Finally understood in 1st attempt. Others are unnecessarily confusing with fancy words & examples. Dhanyawad Bro!
Keep watching for more knowledge.
Please explain how to grow the carrier and what things we should learn for growing in carrier in unit testing
Well explained
Thank you please share with your friends
Good info👍
Thanks
Well explanation!
Thank you
Nice, please continue on HIL more in detail soon🙂
Sure 😊

One real time project on mils, sil pls make a vedio
Can we have Controller as a Simulink Model and Product to control as Real Product
I don’t fully understand your question. Please explain bit more
Hi
Please share adas validation and verification using python scripting
Plz tell me in mil testing which type of error are getting?

Why we do mil and sil testing?
Please tel me which type of error getting in sil testing.
Hi.. it depends mostly you check your software bugs , logical errors, code level error like data representation errors using SIL testing methods.
What kind of coding knowledge is required for these?
Nothing specific for SIL, MIL and HIL. You only need to know simulation like Simulink, LabVIEW etc. But if you are dealing with test automation in HIL then you may need test scripts like python, CAPL etc..
could have been effective with code and hardware, i know restriction company secrets but you know way out
I gonna cover separate session for HIL in detail, I will talk on hardware there. Thanks for watching.
Hi Sanjay
I'm looking for HIL testing training
@@prashanthkowdagani1271 wait for few days. I will surely prepare a good session on HIL
