I praised Clagan Bowl in Got Season 8 for actually recognizing that armor has a purpose beyond looking impressive and don't get me started on when Vommitwood does "testing" of armor, especially mail.
I really appreciate you making such a badass battle sequence out of such an important moment in Mexican history. Only issue besides the Tlaxcalans is that the Aztecs (aside from their Tlatoani) don't look very Aztec, I was able to find some pretty decent minifigs that look Aztec, but it might've just been cost if I were to guess. Great video man, your battles are really cool to watch
Not me... i am dislike because where is tlaxcalan warriors remember spanish get good win is because more than 100.000 / 200.000 native support by tlaxcalan confederacy ( aztec main enemy )
@@onlyyoucanstopevil9024 agreed but there were only a few hundred and not much was known about them, besides it would have made it harder to tell which was which.
@@onlyyoucanstopevil9024 That was when Cortez returned to the Aztec capital. When he first went, only a few thousand tlaxcalans came with him. And they were all killed during the escape. This battle was just after the escape and the conquistadores were on their way to tlaxcala.
Just some clarifications 1) Aztecs don't used horns, bones or pokemon helmets, nor clubs neither. 2) Spaniards was at the defense the whole battle, resisting the aztec attacks. 3) The spaniards have their Tlaxcala allies with them in the battle. 4) The horse movement at the end of the battle was an audacy to killing the aztec commander and take their flag, that was as the battle ends. Of course, the information to do that movement was provided from the Tlaxcala allies. Your videos has going better with the time, more complex with better animation and more figures in it. Some times there is a lack of historical information, however, that has been improved too in the last ones. I hope you keep into that path.
Couple of days full time. If this is his hobby, than this may take a weeks even months. Only a man with great patience can make these wonderful videos.
The main weapon of the Aztecs was the "Macahuitl". Basically a stick with several obsidian blades. The Aztecs thought that horses and riders were one, they felt that they fought with a mixture of men and monsters. When the Spanish arrived with the Tlaxcalans, they were very well received because they thought that Cortés was Quetzalcoátl, which means "Feathered Serpent." The Warriors of that area had a warrior code for their "flowery wars". It consisted of going to fight and capturing all possible warriors to offer them as a sacrifice. The interesting thing is that the warriors protected the tail of their hair, because if the enemy touched your horse tail, they would automatically surrender and allow themselves to be captured. This fact was taken advantage of by the Spanish in the following battles with the Aztecs. While the Tlaxcalans were very happy that their enemies (Los Aztecas) were defeated

Best of your vids! 10/10 the music, the tension, the armour and clothing, helmets, animation...… Actually every single part of this video was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
Big respect for the video! And for your choice of the Battle of Otumba, military achievement equal to other events of the time such as siege of Tenotchitlan or Inca Athaualpa capture in Cajamarca.
Wow!!! This is incredible! wonderful animation. I am glad you made this. Thank you so much for listening to my Aztecs vs Conquistadors suggestion comment in your previous videos!
Wow, really cool video! Love your mountain in the background. We are really excited for your next stop motion! It's taking awhile, but is worth the wait!😊😊
Great job, Jordan! This is some pretty good timing since I’m about to make a new video on the defeat of the Spanish Armada. Hopefully you got a good deal on those conquistador helmets!
I'm not pushing you but these videos are SO good and I think you would be the OP PRO OF BEING OP AND SUCH A PRO OF PROs etc if these vids were longer because your sitting, watching this and you just want more! Its so good!!!!! You are amazing at this stuff

Otumba is a little town in my con contry (México),but in these zone the aztecs were nerver there. Do all Americans think that there were only Aztecs and Mayans in Meseamerica on the Mexican side?
It was fun to watch, but the macuahuitl (?) Sword was actually not a caveman club like shown XD Also from reading Bernal Diaz de Castilo, it becomes clear that surprisingly the Americans were neither too scared of gunpowder nor horses; they rather disliked facing steel swords. But yeah, Otumba was decided by a cavalry charge
This will be my last video until March since I'm going on vacation.
Have a nice day and I'll see you then.
Have a good vacation! We look forward for more videos when you return!
Awesome as always pal enjoy great holidays have fun and see your in March. :>)

1:35 I'm just amazed to see armour finally work. In every movie, that arrow would have killed him or severely wounded.
@Colette Marie Del Carmen Maita If it didn't work, people wouldn't have used it.

ISNT IT HOW MINECRAFT HELMETS SUPPOSED TO WORK
The cause why Aztec casualties were frickin high. They were fighting Spanish hulks.
