Great to hear from you, Nick! It was really cool getting to share the rail with you and hopefully I get to do so again sometime in the near future. Indeed, 22nd St. is a very solid landing and I have a trip with them later this year that I am really looking forward to. Hope all is well and keep those lines tight my friend!
I believe on the shallow side we were around 60 or 70 feet and on the deeper side we got to maybe 150 feet. Not so bad, but when the current picked up, you did need about 8 ounces or so to stay on the bottom.
I was on this trip on the Native Sun. It's always a good time when i fish out of 22nd Street Landing.
Best Regards,
Perch Master Nick

Love the video! Looks like a great time! 😊
Thank you!! 😊
I can get how he was pissed at them missing the hali at the gaffe but dont talk to the crew and captain like that...they do this a lot more than you
Seriously Aaron and Roddy are some of the best at what what they do. But shit happens. The fish was trying to get away.
Good video 👍🏼. First dude was out of pocket with the crew
thanks for sharing. what was the depth?

That gaff shot did suck, But the guy controlling the fishing rod actually sucked More, should have kept that things head in the water.😂😂😂
Agreed. The key to landing a halibut is keeping its head under water
