It’s finally out! After over a month of work! Each part of this compilation will cover 2 chapters. Also, there are a few moments where I leave in parts where Dan predicts stuff that happens later in the game, so if for some reason this compilation is your first experience with the game… well, I guess you’re already here, so. It’s your choice I guess. Part 2 next Sunday as always.
@@Penquinn14There’s 0 things wrong with finding it amusing. Like his entire bit is that he uses it for every girl character. It’s supposed to be funny.
my god can you imagine if Sayaka actually killed Leon and then: Makoto - well we switched rooms cause someone tried to break in her room last night Sayaka - that never happened... Makoto - (why is she lying?)😰😢 this would've been a more emotionally charged trial if Sayaka was still alive then
It would have been, but there also would’ve been no length to the trial at all. Without Leon’s baseball skills or Hifumi’s key to get to the Incinerator, Sayaka couldn’t have disposed of her bloody outfit. Similarly, she wouldn’t have been able to argue much when Hina and Sakura piped in that she took a kitchen knife the night before, one of the two weapons involved in the murder. Also, such a scenario would have killed all suspense for the Player, which is the most important part. If the Player already has every reason to suspect Sayaka, the trial is merely about finding a way to prove it, which I’ve just explained wouldn’t be all that hard. On the other hand, Sayaka being the victim means that the Player must get suspicion off of Makoto, deal with the revelation of Sayaka’s betrayal, AND find the killer.
This LP pained me so much that I stopped watching around Case 4. Arin's excessive griping and misjudgment of the game hurt. But Jojo, you're a great compiler, so if anyone can save this with edits, it's you.
@@destroyerkitty9434 to be fair they acknowledge that much. Not as much as they made fun of the games repetitive text, but they acknowledge the fact that they constantly forget what's going on at any given point.
@@funtimegamer8733 I don’t blame Arin that much because he’s said at some point that he has ADHD. I do too, and whenever I play games like these it’s always tempting to skip dialogue and sometimes I do that when I really shouldn’t just out of impulse.
It's like I don't watch any of the things Arin makes solo even though I'm into MTG, but if Dan started doing solo lets plays I'd subscribe, dingle the bingle and do a comment for the engagement y'know? Anyway great comp!
You know, I didn't mind that Arin used a walkthrough, but he should've been more honest about it. Game Grumps' brand of comedy works for quirky games like this one. If only Arin hadn't complained every two seconds and put down Chihiro's character arc. Dan seemed into the game's plot, though, so I gotta give him credit for respecting the characters a bit more than not at all. (Well, except about Kyoko's relationship with her dad, but otherwise Dan was on point.)

Seriously, Dan was Yasuhiro. No question.
I haven't rewatched their DR1 playthrough since they first released it so hearing Arin's Sakura voice made me laugh out loud
You mean the singular girl voice Arin uses for all the girls?
@@Choshako yes, thats the one they find funny. Is that okay?

I just realized that if you get the bad ending,Yasuhiro’s prediction is right at 1:26:29
Yup, remember the guardian angel thing? Well there's someone who's saved Makoto at least three times. Kyoko is the guardian angel
I still find funny they got attached to Sayaka based on nothing but them sticking to the bit of her being italian
I find it funny that Arin ended up thinking she was italian as a character so much that he messed up that one round in guess who
4:04 They predicted Peko Pekoyama

this would've been a more emotionally charged trial if Sayaka was still alive then
Considering Sayaka had no clue a trial would happen, seeing her choose between deceiving everyone or admitting what she did would have been crazy

Game: Do you want to learn how to do this?
Arin: No.
* shortly after *
How do I do this?!
I still can't get over Dan predicting basically every twist and mystery ahead of time haha
I was shocked as I watch the episodes back then!
1:41:08 mondo referred chihiro as dude because he knew that chihiro was a boy before anyone else
No shit, Sherlock, that was revealed in-game at the trial. 🙄
@@Choshako do you not get enough hugs? People enjoying the moment a twist is revealed isn't allowed in a murder mystery game now?
Arin:prodigy sounds stupid
Also arin:progidy is better to say
Holy shit I forgot Arin quoting street fighter in a monotone that killed me
These comps are edited great, never overdoing with the zoom ins and stuff. Very good watching 👍
Man this one gonna do numbers
your snapcut zooms are absolutely wonderful lol
12:22 Hina is my favorite girl lol
41:20 … Leon?
2:05:23, something just dawned on me while watching through this again. i think Taka's secret is that he's gay. its just a theory though

Them: talking bout iceberg’n it 💩
