  • We had warned President Tinubu of the consequences of these colonial policies he had implemented and the resulting hunger in the land. We are not behind the Tinubu administration. However, we do not support violence or anarchy, we are fully behind the peaceful protest against hardship caused by his administration
    Justice Faloye, Publicity Secretary, Afenifere

It is really shameful that an educated man like Ruben Abati should ask such a parochial question like this in the grim reality that most Nigerians are currently experiencing. Is the economic hardships confined only in the South West of the Country? This entrenched culture of tribalism...of not being able to speak truth to power, because public officials share thesame mother tongue with you, is a major challenge to national unity and development.

Let me augment FOLAYE - to avoid anarchy, it is the President who should give democratic matching order to heads of security & intelligence agencies that if the peaceful protest gets violent in any way, they will loose their jobs. Pa Ayọ Adebanjọ and his group are true nationalists in the sense of their support for justice, equity and unity as against regional and narrow irredentist objectives pursued by the Fasoranti faction. Who, in his or her right senses, will support Tinubu's woeful leadership performance after previously enduring the harrowing eight years of locust superintendented by another APC vampire, Buhari. I used the "v" word intentionally because these guys dish out policies that are sucking the bloods out of the poor masses. Tinubu just wanted to be Nigeria's president without any clear-cut plan or knowledge of how to solve the problems he inherited from his political ally from Daura, Katsina State. APC has damaged Nigeria beyond repairs and must be shown the way out. It is not about rigging oneself into power by stealing the electoral mandate given to the people's overwhelming choice of presidential candidate, but knowing what to do with the mandate after stealing it.

If those around the president have any value for the people of Nigeria especially the youth; they would have advised the President to come out to address the people, assuring them of his plans to make things better rather than trying to suppress Nigerians in a time like this....MR PRESIDENT, LET THE POOR BREATH.

Tribalism keeps pushing Nigeria backwards as seen even in those that are presumed to be educated. It’s a shame. If the northerners acts barbarically, the southerners shouldn’t.

FOR ME @ PRESIDENT, These are the issues threatening NIGERIA JUST NOW, Namely: 1) Massive Insecurity caused by the BH terrorists, Fulani Bandiths & Kidnappers 2) Universal Hunger caused by points 1. 3) Low purchasing power caused by high rate of inflation. HERE IS THE SOLUTION TO ALL THE PROBLEMS, namely; Utelize your execetive powers to 1. Allow state governors liase with commisioners of police to train and equip the states' security aparatus with AK 47 rifles to defend their territory while you forward a bill to the national assembly for the establishment of a proper state police. 2. Ensure the anti open grazing bill is pass into law ASAP to calm nerves for others who do not understand why a special attention is given to cattle rarers when you created a ministry of livestock. and 3. Direct state governors to give special attention and assistance to the farmers with the exception of those already benefiting from the ministry of livestock.

The government should do 3 things now
    1. Return back fuel to 250
    2. Open border
    3. Cut down on government
Trust me nobody will fo out for protest.
Then go back to the drawing board with key stakeholders who will develop the economy.
Insecurity is another factor that needed to be addressed. People dont have much in Benue, Kaduna, Niger, Nasarawa, plateau, Borno, Yobe and other part of the country
Sharing of food and money to people only create more room for corruption.
