Aparna Rajeev, granddaughter of poet-lyricist ONV Kurup, has been active in the music field for several years. At the age of 7, she began receiving formal training in Carnatic music from Smt. Omanakutty teacher and subsequently under Shri. Alappuzha Sreekumar. She had got the training Hindustani vocal under Shri Fayas Khan, Pandit Ramesh Narayan and in 2018 under the guidance of Smt Abhadrutha Banerjee.
