Dear subscribers, I know it's been a longggg time since I last uploaded. Hope y'all are doing well. In 2024, I've been playing ESO up until about 6 weeks ago, when I decided to try out Throne and Liberty about a week and a half after global launch. The game's been surprisingly fun with lots of engaging content and events that draw players together. My only critique is that the targeting system is garbage, but the rest of the game makes up for it. I'm still learning PVP but I've finally reached a point where I'm solidly geared (3.3k Combat Power) so I don't get melted in fights. Still lots more room to grow!
Oh my friend, those were some of the original videos. I started with LOTRO and then went into WAR. Those were fun times. Games have evolved quite a bit since then, for the better. Have you tried Throne and Liberty?
We'll have to see how Ashes of Creation pans out. After so many failures I'm very wary of new titles. Something(s) inevitably go wrong. This was true for Chronicles of Elyria (huge scam), New World (horrible progression and grindy as heck), and so many others. Throne and Liberty has been surprisingly fun and engaging.

Dude I found tour videos through SWTOR like 12-13 years ago and back then i was blown away how meticulous and smart of a player you were. I could not wrap my mind around how someone could know all the names of so many attacks and just intuitively understand so many mechanics of a complex game like that. I still can’t tbh. I’m a casual gamer and love mmorpgs bc they remind me of my high school days with my best friend who passed away a couple years ago. I am just now getting a pc gaming setup and hoping to play something like swtor again on weekends between my nursing school classes. Anyway, I wish i could sit and chill in your gaming room while you play one day while we joke and eat pizza 😂 That would bring back the old and golden times. Keep it up brother. You are one of the best players of any game i’ve ever seen man.

Indeed! It was too funny to not post. I may post some Throne and Liberty build videos. Was going to do it for ESO for Stamina Arcanist, but the class balance got to a point where it was lousy. Granted, everyone complains about Sword and Shield / Greatsword being OP in Throne and Liberty, but I build to survive those guys :)
T&L has really surprised me. The devs have created an epic world with challenging open world dungeons (at least before getting very well geared) and PVP group events (e.g. world bosses) that draw in lots of players, even PVE ones.
Yes, 100%. Let me start with the bad first: 1. the targeting in the game is very cumbersome and the settings are unnecessarily complicated. This can be addressed by changing your hotkeys ("shortcuts"). I use my mouse wheel to switch between targets 2. there are a ton of different systems in the game. There's definitely a learning curve Here's the good: 1. you can play whatever weapons you want. You're not stuck with a class and subject to the balancing whims of the devs. Granted, if you change to different weapons you have to re-work a lot of stuff 2. there is so much awesome content. Co-op dungeons, open world dungeons, all kinds of competitive events, arena 3. the game brings players together, in cooperation and in conflict, better than any game I've ever played 4. the variety of different systems and other easter eggs makes this a game with rich complexity 5. it's a F2P game that I haven't spent any money on for my 2nd (and now main) character. You can play completely free and progress Players are very engaged from what I've seen. I came in skeptical and have grown to really appreciate the game. And I love the solo PVE, group PVP, solo / small-scale PVP (hugely awesome IMO), and large-scale PVP.
Yes. At 3.3k CP, I have ~1700 Melee Evasion and ~720 Ranged Endurance. I was initially going double Evasion, but the secondary Evasion stat is useless if you can't get it to 800-1000.
Check this out: questlog.gg/throne-and-liberty/en/skill-builder/z5ATb8spRj2Z?build-id=39508 I'm not sure this is 100% correct but it should be close. It's a Melee Evasion / Ranged Endurance build. This enables me to avoid dangerous melee CC and mitigate the high damage from Crossbows and Longbows.
Last time I played WoT was Feb of this year. Haven't played since IIRC. I just got tired of the cheesy tanks due to WG's greed. WoT could be such a great game, but WG refuses to tone down the Pay-For-Advantage.
At the time of this video (3.3 combat power): ~1620 melee evasion ~ 760 ranged endurance Now (3.8 combat power): ~1800 melee evasion 950 ranged endurance
@@nikenzzo I don't think melee evasion is meaningfully beneficial until you reach 1300 Melee Evasion, and it really begins to show its value at 1500+. There are a lot of melee evasion gear pieces on armor and accessories - these really help! And traiting as much as possible.

WAR Swordmaster was so much fun and was underrated. Especially because everyone was playing Ironbreaker on Alliance.
