Oh say Ladies! I'm so excited because I just got my first 100 3 silk thread, oh my gosh I love it! You ladies look really good and I'm always happy to see y'all. Love your stitching. See you on the 15th. Always so happy when I see you post a flosstube.
Hello Ladies! Thanks so much for the shout-out about my bag and Etsy shop (Hummingbird Hollow). I actually have been on a break/hiatus since January due to the loss of my SO and BFF. I haven't been sewing much at all, but will be moving at the end of the year to a new house with a fabulous sewing and quilting room, so I hope to be back with some new goodies to share. It's been a rough year for me, but things are finally looking brighter. Thanks so much to you both for all your kindness in the past, and I hope to be back at it again by next year. Hugs to you both! Suzie Ellis
When I was young, I had one Beatles 45 record. I was playing it very, very loud on the front porch when our pastor stopped by for a surprise visit! My mother (age 94 this month) still reminds me how embarrassed she was! I'm all hepped up about fall stitching now! Thanks for making me smile!
That is funny Barbara!!!!! Please tell your mother hello from us!!!!! Maybe you can play her a Beatles song!!! Glad you are hepped up about fall stitching!
I enjoy watching you two!! The way Laura talks about her mom really touches my heart!! My mom was my biggest fan when it came to my stitching or quilting and I miss her everyday! 😢 Continue to treasure the time you have with your sweet mom and keep stitching!!
Love the Beatles. Ringo was my favorite - (my last name was also Starr). Got to see them when I was 16 at the Pubic Auditorium in Cleveland, Ohio. My ears were ringing for days after all the screaming.
Hello ladies. I’ve just got back from TGBSW. You were right… it was utterly fabulous! I cannot tell you how amazing this was for my very first stitchy weekend. The people, the planning, the gifts, fabrics and charts… I could go on but don’t want to make you jealous. 😂 I had the best time and will be on a stitchy high for a long time. It was a big ‘OH SAY’ weekend and I’m now overloaded with information, inspiration and a whole host of new and talented friends.
You Jane Parson is gorgeous !! Great Jacob wip. I love doing one colour every now and then. Can’t wait til my box comes!!! Cute how Laura’s top matched her projects lol I’ll be going to Sherry’s tomorrow. She’s about 10 miles from me. 😁that deer does look like Baba jinx lol. Thanks for visiting. Brightens my day!
George for me too!!! Love that cheeky grin. I have ordered the compendium and it’s going under the tree. I can’t believe I have to wait for Christmas to see what’s inside. Love you two ladies. It’s like sitting down with old friends…
Absolutely love the bags that were made out of the towels.. I think I need to do the same with mine. The choice of material was just beautiful! So inspiring.
Hi Brenda - Hi Laura I love October and November - these are my two favorite months for Fall Seasons. Love all of your Stitching and all of your Lovely Patterns - Fabrics - Threads - Thread Holders. Everything is so pretty. Have A Safe Trip Laura and try to behave yourself - Haha! Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🙏🧵🪡🧵❤️
Oh say!!! I was so so excited to hear you mention your purchase of several of my designs. Thank you to you both for always being so supportive and entertaining!!🤗👏
This was a "LOTS of notes" kind of video!!! A little hard to stitch while watching because of that so I made an apple cake while watching too! Thank you both SO MUCH!!!
Omg I needed you two today. Spent all day yesterday at Costco and clothes shopping for my family. The toddlers are taking their naps, I’m in sweats and watching my two favorite “aunties” on TH-cam while eating chili. 🎉
Paul all the way. Love your floss tube. So much stitching goodness. It takes me forever to watch an episode because I have to stop & look up all the shout outs. Thanks to both of you I have acquired some great stitching charts & accessories. Thanks for keeping us in the loop on all this stitching goodness. Look forward to your next episode.
October is my favorite month and fall is my favorite season and my favorite color. Im in fall color mode. Looking to stitch something fallsy. I so much enjoy watching you ladies. You are so encouraging to me. Thank you so much for devoting your time to making these videos for all of us. I appreciate you.
I was just at The Great British Sampler Weekend - fabulous.! I will be telling about it on my next video after I get back from another week of sightseeing with the friend I went with. Thanks for this video - so fun, as usual!
Thank so much, Brenda & Laura, for your kind words about my patterns! You girls are so sweet and I just love watching your FlossTube! I look forward to each one. Happy stitching, Lori
When I was a kid ( 6 or 7 years old) I was in a Beatles Club with the kids in the neighborhood who were a variety of ages older than me. I remember crying at one of our “ meetings” because they wouldn’t let me be Ringo! 😂 Loved this Floss Tube . I also love the Fall. Can’t wait to see what is in the “ Red Box”
I love watching you both so much. I bingewatched all of your youtubes in the last 3 weeks and loved everyone of them. Now I guess I have to wait like everyone else for the next one. Also, I had 1 project bag in my possession in the time I have been stitching 30+ years but thanks to you two, I purchased at least 20 more in the last 3 weeks and I don't even want to discuss the stash that I added. You two are just awesome.
When Sheri had the Loopy Ewe she used to include a little bag with confetti and Tootsie Rolls, my husband could always tell when I ordered yarn because I'd give him the candy.
Another fun and exciting video, the Project bags from the HATS tea towels great, the new patterns and floss lovely. And thanks so much for supporting our Kentucky Craftsman RNR Works, they are great to work with, and the new Spool Holders are stunning. love the cedar wood look. I just ordered two new 9 inch floss winders a few weeks ago in the cherry wood, really quick shipping. Loved spending my Sunday Afternoon with you both.
Thank you for the fun video! I love all of the Halloween patterns you showed to get us inspired! Have a great trip to Canada. Can’t wait to hear all about it. Happy stitching
Also at TGBSW--and like Laura, I could have been the one winding thread (seriously, though, I was too busy taking notes during all the fantastic presentations to do much stitching). You had me laughing as usual, and this time it was about the password situation. Gift idea for all your friends and family -- a password book. Years of working in a library taught me that many, many people do not keep track of them!
Oh!!! I bet you had fun at TGBSW!!!!! It looks like it was the best retreat in the world. You know...if we had password books we could not find them when we need them!!!!
Loved those tea towel bags. Enjoy your trip Laura. Can’t wait to see what is in the red box. I loved looking at all your Halloween charts. Always fun to see a chart parade.
Y’all are adorable. I just laugh, cry, snort and smile when I see you! It’s a workout 😅. I’m working on my first one color piece. It’s red silk😮. Have a blessed week.
Love ALL your haul! Brenda your tea towel project bags are so beautiful! Great idea! Laura I love all your Halloween that you picked out. It’s my favorite thing to stitch! Can’t wait til your next Floss Tube! 🧡🧡
Always always sooo much fun watching you ladies!!!! Hope to one day meet you all at a retreat, you guys seem like youd be real fun! Im in major Halloween mode too! Love the zebra sampler Laura! So fun. May have to find that one. I dont stitch many samplers but all your choices are so pretty !
Always so much fun to watch, ladies! 🥰🥰 I love all the October stitching, too. Oh, darn... I didn't realize there was a retreat in my neck of the woods, this coming weekend! (Would have been the perfect gift to give myself, this month, when I celebrate the big "6-0" ☺) Have a fantastic time, Laura... and give me a 👋hello, when you are on Highway 402, about 30 minutes past the Canadian border.
Happy Birthday Tracey!!! You will have to sign up for the Evertote newsletter so you can be aware of Stitch North and other retreats that they put on!!!!!!
Paul is my favorite Beatle, we share the same Birthday, June 18. My husband is watching football and I said I have got to watch my 2 favorite stitchers that are on Sundays every 2 weeks, forget football. Never a dull moment with you two, love ya! Beautiful patterns and stitching. See you in 2 weeks.
Whoo hoo... I love this time of year too... it ticks all the boxes! Thank you for the kind words about my latest video- Angie is such a special lady, and very patient to let me paw through all of her treasures! Brenda your Jane Parson is gorgeous~ I can't wait to see her finished and Laura you never disappoint with your wips and wanna-starts. I'm just about to riffle through my halloween charts! BTW George is my favorite Beatle too. Here comes the Sun is one of the best songs ever written. Sending you both lots of love!🌻🌻🌻
i laughed so hard when you were talking about opening your "red box"! I recently won the grand prize from the BeStitchMe anniversary. One day last week a large box arrived containing one of every color of Brandy's silk threads. I was so happy my husband was on a project out in the barn so I could sit in my chair with my favorite tunes blaring, a stiff drink and my pretty package and just enjoy the moment.
Well now I want to stitch more from Teresa’s book. I forgot about those adorable Vintage Cats in there! Inspiring video as always and thanks so much for the sweet shoutout! ❤ - Sheri
I made that Teresa Kogut Halloween sampler last year. I got it for Christmas and finished stitching it on March 1st. I wasn't crazy about the recommended Colonial Copper floss. I do love the finished piece but it is not very orangey at all--it has a burnt umber vibe. It looks more orange in the photo than how mine turned out. I stitched mine two threads of floss over one, tent stitch, on 28 count Cafe Au Lait. Photos are on my DeviantArt gallery page, under the name Kimsophia.
Thank you both for the shout out! Now that I've officially retired from teaching high school, our releases should be a bit more frequent! We so enjoy watching the banter between the two of you - AND the enabling! Have a great week!
Was good to catch up with you again. Looks of goodies today! Great minds must think alike as I pulled out Dahlia Ridge today also. I have it kitted so it will be an easy start. My favorite Beatles are Ladybugs.
Again, you two!! I was writing notes down of stuff just so I could keep up with you.. Okay first of all, Brenda, your Jane Parsons is gorgeous... I gasped when I saw the first time you showed it a couple videos ago, and gasped again... Stunning! And you had to mention the flower thread again!! Argh... you are killing me, I'm dying to get this floss so bad... But waiting so patiently for the set to come back, and let me tell you, it is hard to be so. Laura you almost had me in tears over your notes from Australia; you made me feel the feels. I did want to know the Lords Prayer behind Laura - is that a stitched piece or a framed picture? So pretty, and caught my eye. I tried to order the Red Box, and got on at the precise time and everything just crashed. It finally came back on, and my pocketbook said "Not at this time", which sucks, because I would have loved to have gotten that. Will you do a reveal video? I would love to see the charts; and do they come out in a year after the box is out? And those tea towels!!! Brenda you had me gasp again over the bag of Ann Thomas!! OMG... of all of them, that bag did me in. Now I have to hunt for the tea towels... I do have the tea towel that I got for King Charles' coronation, which I planned on framing... but now you have given me evil thoughts LOL. Laura, have you thought of doing AKGIT on Maritime White with Chalkboard thread? That would be stunning. Just a thought, not trying to torment you. Just saying. And thank you both for allowing my rambling here, and thank you for all you show and talk about. You two are GEMS!!! Laura , please be safe traveling! Love you both, Hugs and Love, Jen
Thank you so much for your wonderful comments Jen!!!!!! I think Nicola will do a reveal of her latest red box......not sure if she will release charts later. Oh no...the idea about the Maritime What with Chalkboard is so good...........but I absolutely cannot do a 3rd start...but maybe I can? Hope you have a great stitching weekend!
I definitely think you can! :D you know you want to! LOL I did have a question about the spool holder(s) - will they hold Aurifil floss spools? I just got my first color in that line and it is to die for (Aubergine). And how does one handle WDW and GAST threads? I have a few of them, and am not sure how to work them? I mean how do you put them on floss drops like you do, or are they already "lined" up to go, as it were? Hugs and Love, and looking forward to your "Tales of The Great North". ❤
Another enjoyable episode. Enjoy you trip to Canada. It’s always fun when our passports get to travel and our vehicles have the necessary out of country insurance coverage too. Have a wonderful time stitching too.
You are going to be traveling through my hometown city Windsor Ontario when you come to Canada! There's a nice cross stitch/quilt shop in London called Stitch It Central, and on the way in the countryside in the lovely town of Blenheim a wonderful cross stitch/quilt shop called Pastime Pieces. Definitely worth the little side trip to a beautiful shop!
Thank you for the tip Patti!!! We just drove straight through and came through Port Huron. It was dark on our way into Canada so we didn't even know where we were. It was really wild to drive to another country!
I hope you enjoy your time here! Here in Windsor crossing the border into the states is an an everyday occurrence for many. We love crossing the border and having access to so much great shopping ! Thanks for all the great videos. You ladies are so fun to watch!
Have fun going to Ontario...it will be beautiful. Been to Ontario often. Now I need to stitch Halloween. Off to Colour and Cotton Wed which I am afraid could be a long shopping event.
Another wonderful episode. I enjoy seeing all the patterns and fabrics. Every time I see a Prairie Schooler, I get a little sad. I sold all of them to pay some medical bills, and now I wish I had them. Ah, well, spilt milk. You make me laugh and give me energy to just keep stitching and enjoying my projects.
OMG, I love my thread winder from RNRWoodworkingKY! I bought it from your recommendation! It makes winding DMC much easier. Laura, have fun at your retreat! Beautiful stitching from both of you.
Your haul was amazing, Brenda. Definitely some special stuff. For faffing about, you only had a few WIP's you worked on and you made some good progress on the, Laura. Another great episode. It was great to visit with you ladies.
Great video! I agree with you Brenda about the Beatles and Brenda your Jane Parson Sampler is absolutely gorgeous!! Laura I enjoyed seeing all your WIPS and charts that you want to start!! Have a fabulous time at your retreat Laura!!,
It’s always a delight to see you ladies pop up with another episode of your FlossTube! Brenda, I’m with you on the Beatles thing. I was never a huge fan of them. You are one of the first people I’ve heard that has the same feeling as me! Thank you for another wonderful “visit”!🩷🩷
I’ve been trying to catch up over 4 years of your flosstubes, but weakened and had to jump to now to see you are both okay. You are a tonic for my soul. My favourite Beatle has always been Paul, for over 50 years, I was supposed to marry him, unfortunately I was under 5 years old at the time. I have come back to cross stitch after a 10 year break. I have so much time to make up 😂 Thank you for the hours of company, I’ve had to rip out some stitches because I’m watching you instead of concentrating on the stitches. Wendy (South Wales UK)
Welcome back to stitching!!!!!!!! So happy you are here!!!!!! Thank you for your kind words...and I am sorry that your marriage to Paul did not come to fruition!
Brenda: My son-in-law took my 4 year old granddaughter to her first Michigan game the same weekend you went. She loved it and came home chanting all the cheers for my daughter. I thought about you all there at the same time. Glad it was a win. Laura: I think I'm more in love with the Beatles now than when I was younger. I was never a huge band fan. Now I listen to the Beatles channel on Sirius all the time. Paul may be just slightly ahead of George on my list. Have a safe trip Laura and we will see you both in a couple of weeks.
Happy October Sweet Friends! I love Fall Most of All!!! I really enjoy our visits & look forward to each one. Safe travels for you Laura, I hope you have a great time. Happy Stitching Brenda and Go Blue! See you next time. xoxo
Girlssss!!! You’re a ray of light in this crazy world! Thanks for all the inspirationsn❤
Oh say Ladies! I'm so excited because I just got my first

Thanks for understanding! I do not want my thoughts interrupted when I am opening such a fine purchase.......it is a sacred moment!
Right????? We just need to have a quiet moment when we are opening this very important packages!
Well now I want to stitch more from Teresa’s book. I forgot about those adorable Vintage Cats in there! Inspiring video as always and thanks so much for the sweet shoutout! ❤ - Sheri
Thank you always for your inspiration and kindness Sheri!
Oh I bet it is stunning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you both for the shout out! Now that I've officially retired from teaching high school, our releases should be a bit more frequent! We so enjoy watching the banter between the two of you - AND the enabling! Have a great week!
Thank you so much for sending us your beautiful charts!!!!!! Enjoy that retirement from a high stress job!!!!
I always love everything you both show! ❤
Thank you so much Patty!
Absolutely enjoy you both so much! Your so inspiring and enabling 😅
thank you!!!!
Was good to catch up with you again. Looks of goodies today! Great minds must think alike as I pulled out Dahlia Ridge today also. I have it kitted so it will be an easy start. My favorite Beatles are Ladybugs.
Thank you Debra!!!!!

Fun video! Laura, my favorite Beatle is Paul-then and now. Looking forward to your next video on Sunday. Pam Miller
Thank you Pam! Paul is one of the very best !!!
Another enjoyable episode. Enjoy you trip to Canada. It’s always fun when our passports get to travel and our vehicles have the necessary out of country insurance coverage too. Have a wonderful time stitching too.
Thank you Janice!
How was it Doris!~!! Looks like a lovely shop!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 .It was lovely. Easy to find. Quite dangerous! Close to my old neighborhood which is good. Going back soon.
Stopped by to say hi. Love you ladies!
Hi Becca!!!! We love you too!!!! Sending you a big hug!
Another wonderful episode. I enjoy seeing all the patterns and fabrics. Every time I see a Prairie Schooler, I get a little sad. I sold all of them to pay some medical bills, and now I wish I had them. Ah, well, spilt milk. You make me laugh and give me energy to just keep stitching and enjoying my projects.
oh no! That is sad.....if you need a PS in a pinch let me know! I would love to be able to gift you a chart! Sending lots of good vibes to you!
OMG, I love my thread winder from RNRWoodworkingKY! I bought it from your recommendation! It makes winding DMC much easier. Laura, have fun at your retreat! Beautiful stitching from both of you.
Aren't those thread winders the BEST????? Thank you Kathy!
GO BLUE 💙💛 I would love Fall all year round 😊 Love you guys, your both amazing stitchers 🥰
Great video. Laura, safe travels and have fun.
Thank you Kim!
Your haul was amazing, Brenda. Definitely some special stuff. For faffing about, you only had a few WIP's you worked on and you made some good progress on the, Laura. Another great episode. It was great to visit with you ladies.
Thank you so much Emmy!
That was fun seeing your haul and plans for Halloween stitching.
Take care
Thank you Diane!
Yay! After a reboot and several trys I got in. Glad to see you both!
Yay!!!!!! Hope that doesn't happen again!
Great video! I agree with you Brenda about the Beatles and Brenda your Jane Parson Sampler is absolutely gorgeous!! Laura I enjoyed seeing all your WIPS and charts that you want to start!! Have a fabulous time at your retreat Laura!!,
Thank you so much!!!!!!!!
Thank you for watching Melanie!!!!!!!
Laura, have a great time in Canada! I can imagine you and Jody will get into all kinds of mischief.😂
We did. But nothing illegal! Thanks Nancy!!! We had a really good time.
I can't wait for my WOW box!!! How exciting! I should probably start something from the first red box. ;)
Agreed!!! We definitely should April!
Great video! Lots of useful information. Thanks again! Happy Fall🎃🐈⬛
Thank you Barbara!
Have a great trip Laura. Plus it seems like you are all ready for Black Sampler November. Beautiful stitching by you both.
I am totally ready for Black Sampler November!!!!!
I have so much time to make up 😂
Thank you for the hours of company, I’ve had to rip out some stitches because I’m watching you instead of concentrating on the stitches.
Wendy (South Wales UK)
Welcome back to stitching!!!!!!!! So happy you are here!!!!!! Thank you for your kind words...and I am sorry that your marriage to Paul did not come to fruition!
Great video, as always. Happy stitching.
Thank you Susan!
Brenda your Jane Parson is beautiful. I just bought this pattern but I am waiting for the Flower Threads to be restocked before I start.
Thank you Sandra!!!! I bet you will love the Flower Threads. They are worth waiting for.
Enjoy you both and all your stash, starts and finishes.
Thank you!
George is my favorite Beatle especially as a Traveling Wilburys (I'm with Brenda on the Beatles )
Thank you Susan!!! Loved reading your comments on the football game and the Beatles!
Thank you for being so gracious, Brenda, and not mentioning how badly MI beat my beloved (albeit not very good) Huskers this weekend. :}
Brenda is very classy that way......Sorry about your loss Karen!
I love you both. My mom never wrote down a password for anything. I feel your pain. You are enablers though, and thank you.
Thank you Nancy!
Happy October Sweet Friends! I love Fall Most of All!!! I really enjoy our visits & look forward to each one. Safe travels for you Laura, I hope you have a great time. Happy Stitching Brenda and Go Blue! See you next time. xoxo
Thank you so much Barbara!!!!
Enjoyed it as always! My favorite Beatle is Paul. 😊 Happy Stitching!
Paul is so great!!!!!!
