I think it would be great for the factions, especially the Followers of Yeremac, to have a clear purpose. so here's a general overlay of how I think the factions purposes and end goals should be for each of them(feel free to add and collaborate ideas) New Novgorod Republic: A hearth of democracy and peace, they would want a strong, stable central government and a strong enough military to protect it's people and ideals. There would be few offensive campaigns for the Republic, only to pacify potential threats before they grow to powerful. The Trade Union: For those who lust for wealth and power there is The Union. A wealth based, most likely small state that's real power comes from it's ability to quell hostilities with it's affluence . Why fight bandits when you can pay them off, why fight a war when you can bankrupt within months with embargoes. And if it comes to fighting the Union can amass armies of ruthless mercenaries at the snap of it's Syndic's fingers. Trade Union wars are rarely over territory, they are to establish monopolies and open up reluctant ports and towns to trade. Followers/Cult of Yeremac: In the eyes of The Cult this hell their living in is the consequence of strong central control, without governments and their selfish interests there's no way the bombs would have been dropped. The Cultists are against any powerful government and are hell bent on wiping out the other three factions of Desolate Russia. War? The Cult is always at war, sweeping through cities and towns, radicalizing the populous, and sucking out all available resources before looking for their next target. The New Order: They want a strong authoritarian state, and they want it to be huge, likely beyond the confines of Desolate Russia, maybe even world-wide. The New Order's ideology is this, if there is one state in all the world, completely unopposed, there would be no violence, no hate, and no conflict. The New Order wars aggressively and aims to subjugate and conquer. Feel free to add your opinions and ideas about the factions and like so Diplex can see!

why do the cultist what to kill the kids? ya i know you what them to look like monsters. But it would make a lot more sense that the cultist take the kids and make them into new cultist (like child soldiers), it would show how they can keep there numbers so high even though they lose so many in battle.

That's the only real way they can gain new cultists. If not then how the hell do they keep up the numbers? they seem to away's lose many of there numbers.

If they take the kids then they can some how keep the numbers the around the same. Also seen that the life of a cultist would most likely be short. Next we only say one base and there were no woman (unless there some of the cultist are girls under the mask) and we also see no kids.
I think you should add something like migrating tribes, for example some chinese wastelanders that migranted west, and some germans and poles too, maybe even some fins and sweds. They could be like good people that joins the Republic, the TU and the New Order (if They accept foreigners) or just be on their own being nomads or founding cities/towns. Sorry for bad english. Diplex here is a scenario I wish to see in this: A defence of a trade Union supply depot? As that is the life blood of the trade Union. Or you could do it as an airport or a main highway because the Trade Union is an amazing idea and their supply things would be their most important assets to them. This is a my theory on how the Trade Union came to be, because each faction needs a backstory of some type so from the scattered documents I have scavenged this is how I believe the Trade Union came to be. The Trade Union is the remnants of the big 4 corporations of Russia: Gazprom, Sberbank, Novolipetsk Steel and finally Kalashnikov. Each of these companies brought something to the table whether it was oil, money, steel or weapons each one needed each other to survive the wasteland. Their main city located at Kstovo South East of Novogrod as the oil refinery of the region are located there. The early history of the Trade Union are unclear, but we know one thing for sure the oil refinery continued to operate and produce petrol. The 6 months later the first skirmish of the wasteland happened between a convoy of 20 men with 5 oil trucks against 60 what we now call the "The New Order" they beat the trade Union and stole that shipment of petrol. This was the first action against the Trade Union, we learnt from that we were not the only one...... Journal 1:1:1 The beginning of Trade This is the First Document, more are too follow.

I know, you like to make your own episodes with your own plots, but I have an idea for a episode, if you take viewer requests. The Trade Union is heading through a New Order controlled area, using a run down bridge, which can collapse at any moment. So, a few New Order scouts spot the small convoy of 1 fuel truck, 2 jeeps, and 1 truck with explosive ammunition. The scouts head back to tell the nearby FOB run by the New Order, and they plot an attack to take the explosive ammunition since they're rare to ever spot in the wasteland. The Trade Union have a fair amount of men, 12 of them, and they are stopped due to them being stuck by a roadblock on the bridge. They wait it out, and soon a sniper spots at least 20 New Order men, who are armed with regular AK's and some with heavy caliber LMGs. They then get into a firefight with the trade union, and a stray bullet hit the fuel truck, causing it to go off into a large blaze, taking the explosive ammunition truck with it, starting a conflict in the area with the Trade Union, leaving room for a forward attack by the Trade Union on the FOB.
Novgorod Republic reminds me a lot of the New California Republic from Fallout. The New Order reminds me of the Brotherhood of Steel/Enclave. The Cultists are Caesar's Legion. The Trade Union are like the Gun Runners or Mr. House depending on your point of view.
Diplex, I feel that you need to let the event be a bit more dynamic. The first episode is a great example of it being dynamic when the patrol was sent out by the AI causing a 4 way fight. For a series of this nature it should all link together with reasons for each event. A raid by the cult should have been on the new order due to the slaughter that happened in episode 1. I don't want to criticise the series, I just want to try to improve it.

I didn't get the appeal when I first watch the first one (night in the wasteland) but now I'm invested in this series, makes me want to boot up Garry's mod to make my own battles similar to this

maybe you should add a swiss expeditionary force since the swiss are neutral and possibly survived, the sami people beacuse why not, some more siberian folk which migrated west, maybe even the mongols or the samoyed tribes

You should add a new faction called the New Scandinavia Commonwealth (this faction is very financially strong just there stretched thin between their city's and don't have tons of soldiers.) this is there lore during world war three Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania all agreed to form one country, so they could fend off any other country that would other wise take there land. These country's also did this so that they would be a lot more harder for Russia to take land from a unified Scandinavia. After world war 3 the Scandinavia was not in to bad of shape after the bombing happened Scandinavian city's wren't hit really bad because of Scandinavia low pupation. Now there expanding into old Russian land so they can connect Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania to the rest of the New Scandinavia Commonwealth and there thinking why don't we expand into Novgorod it can't be that hard. I Hope we could add this faction please like if you like this idea. 🇸🇪

These unknown soldiers from the last videos could be some former Russian Army member who want now to support the "good" people like the Novgorod Republic. And so these soldiers could become the "fist of the Republic" like the Space Marines in Warhammer40k for the Empire ^^
Yeah it is. This series inspired me to do my own little thing with the Cold War Mod in the U.S. (No videos, I can't do those) But in my head scenario's at least.

also the No and the NR are natural enemies and the FY and the TU are also natural enemies but the FY seem to be the bigger threat.

You should add a new faction called the New Scandinavia Commonwealth (this faction is very financially strong just there stretched thin between their city's and don't have tons of soldiers.) this is there lore during world war three Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania all agreed to form one country, so they could fend off any other country that would other wise take there land. These country's also did this so that they would be a lot more harder for Russia to take land from a unified Scandinavia. After world war 3 the Scandinavia was not in to bad of shape after the bombing happened Scandinavian city's wren't hit really bad because of Scandinavia low pupation. Now there expanding into old Russian land so they can connect Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania to the rest of the New Scandinavia Commonwealth and there thinking why don't we expand into Novgorod it can't be that hard. I Hope we could add this faction please like if you like this idea.

Name idea; Aftermath: Novgorod. Opens the door for follow-ups too.
U should have two of the factions have a little battle and then have a platoon or so of those unknown soldier guys come in.
These unknown soldiers from the last videos could be some former Russian Army member who want now to support the "good" people like the Novgorod Republic. And so these soldiers could become the "fist of the Republic" like the Space Marines in Warhammer40k for the Empire ^^
I'm starting to lean to the navgard republic (sorry if I didn't spell that right) because they help others

Yeah it is. This series inspired me to do my own little thing with the Cold War Mod in the U.S. (No videos, I can't do those) But in my head scenario's at least.
I would like to see Novograd republic,Trading Union and The New Order to form alliance,to protrect them selfs of Cultists.
