Insane and ridiculous to go through that much of a hassle for 250hp when you can easily extract that from a factory engine with a few bolt ons. Never mind having a car that for starters didn't have amazing dynamics and now behaves like a pendulum with an anchor in place of an engine.

I agree with you if you approach this task rationally. But the owner had his own interest in implementing his ideas.
