I was going through a lot in 2023 and I loved watching Minori videos and the algorithm then helped me find your channel. I went to Korea to see friends and my increasing curiosity (in large part because of you guys) led me to go to Japan for the first time. It was pretty last minute, I just decided I should go since I was already so close. And I LOVED it. My love for Japan (and you guys) has only grown. I have been twice now and I genuinely thought I had seen most of the crane game places but I was wrong lol. I literally made it my mission the first time to go to as many as I could but Tokyo really is huge. It is fun to watch your videos and see what I can recognize. Thank you both for allowing us to see other parts of the world through your eyes (wearing crane game colored glasses).

I won a huge hello kitty plush for just 600 yen.. ❤ These in Shinjuku will be added to my list for next time haha. Also. I think peak time sometimes is more lucky. Ive won more big plush at peak times haha🎉

When I was there, I noticed each arcade has it’s own things. GiGO cost 200 per play, but you’re slightly more likely to win. Taito has more attentive employees and some more exclusive prizes. It’s only 100 per play, but it takes more to win. (It’s very touristy like you said.) Namco are heavy focused on figures. There are other arcades too of course, but those are the 3 most common.
Hey guys, that “demon” guy in the claw machine next to the Blue Eyes White Dragon figure was Toon Summon Skull. It looks like that because it was summoned through a card called Toon World. It’s makes the monsters look “toon” ish
Nice wiglett win it is a water pokemon in gen 9 they introduced pokemon simular to pokemon allready around wiglett/wugtrio (diglett/dugtrio), todescool/todescruel (tentacool/cruel) and polchagiest/sinsischa (polteageist/sinistea)
You know if you spent a certain amount of yen in most arcades the staff will setup the machine so you can get it in 1-2 tries. You just ask the staff attendant, but most don't speak English.

There’s other cool stuff in the tower but it’s all crazy expensive. The same Pawmi that they wanted 300/play for, I won at an arcade in Yokohama after 4 plays in a 100¥ machine.
